Jersey Beats - Oh What A Night.

Jersey Beats on tour @ The Little Theatre (Leicester).
Absolutely brilliant, professional, fun and entertaining.. the vocals where fantastic, the costumes spot on, lighting & sound excellent, the compare was so funny he should have a show of his own!
I would recommend this show without a doubt, it will bring you happiness and laughter, what more could you ask for...
The Little Theatre as a host venue did a great job, friendly bar staff, nice comfortable seating and staff with smiles..
Can't wait to see them again, definitely worth your hard earned money..

Iv never used this locker system before,

Iv never used this locker system before, and wouldn't want to again, the sun was shining to it was hard to read the screen, the screen was filthy! but most importantly the sun was on the scanner cam, so trying to scan took me over 11 tries, in the end i sat in the car then went back for one final try...

What a waste of time....

We ordered this grill after taking some time, checking what was available and features. The XL CosmoGrill seemed like a great BBQ so we ordered one.
It arrived in a large box in many pieces, you have to put the BBQ together yourself.
3 Hrs later we have a full assembled BBQ... (and I'm not joking it does take quiet a while and 2 people to build)
ONLY AT THIS POINT WILL YOU NOTICE IF SOMETHINGS WRONG, with ours the entire lid was bent out of shape, not closing and sealing the cooking area.
We were told dismantle the BBQ (what!) and box it back up, and we would receive a prepaid lable by email, once the BBQ had been received back we could have a refund.
So no birthday BBQ for me tomorrow, and my money in someone else's bank account.
The BBQ weighs 28Kg and there are around 30 pieces to screw together, arriving in a heavy box 670x670x580.

We appreciate that assembling a BBQ can be a bit of a project. This model typically takes around 1–2 hours, and we do recommend having two people on hand, even for our more compact models. While it can feel frustrating at first, many of our customers enjoy the build process and find it rewarding once completed.

This being said, we're sorry to hear that the hood appeared misaligned. While we pack our BBQs securely, extended transit times can occasionally cause components such as the lid to become slightly jarred. The good news is that thanks to the strength of our materials, issues like this can often be corrected by gently applying pressure to realign the lid, though we absolutely understand this might not be suitable for everyone.

If that approach doesn't work or isn't something you'd prefer to try, we're always happy to arrange replacement parts to get things back to perfect. Alternatively, we completely accept returns, though this does require full disassembly so our courier can safely collect the item and avoid further complications during transit.

We know this wasn’t the experience you hoped for, especially ahead of your birthday, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience caused. If there’s anything further we can do to help, please don’t hesitate to reach back out to us.

This company sell items on Amazon

This company sell items on Amazon, the item i bought from them was a £750 hot tub, and being advertised on Amazon, gave me confidence. I ordered the item on a Monday, i received all the usual Amazon confirmations including the delivery would be made by the "Sellers Own Delivery" by Thursday 10pm (4 days later). All seemed great, on Thursday i received a notification from Amazon advising delivery would be made by 8pm, wow even better.
The item never arrived, i spoke to Amazon who at that point advised me it was a 3rd party seller, meaning they just use Amazons selling platform to move their products. All Amazon customer service could do was to "Read the script of screen" which they do for everyone and advise me to wait....
The following Monday (1 week later) i received a communication from the seller, asking "did i still want the item or a refund", WHAT ? surprised, confused ? i was told the item was out for delivery last week ? and yet today 7 days later im being asked if i still want to purchase the hottub iv paid for 7 days ago ??
I informed Amazon, guess what, all the customer services agent could do was to read off the screen their usual blurb starting with "im sorry, i understand how you feel...." i wish they wouldn't use words they don't mean, especially when its being read off screen, because remember these customer service agents are not allowed to do anything other than PROCEDURE and procedure comes from the screen their sat in front of for hours and hours a day taking customers calls.

So having no hot tub and still not receiving my £750 back in my account im in limbo.....

Please be aware of 3rd Party Sellers on Amazon, there usually unreliable amongst other problems. In the 8 years iv had an Amazon PRIME Business Account iv only ever had problems with the 3rd party sellers....
This company operates under a few names, and even looking on Company's House, its baffling who actually owns this company, its actual operational address and directors ?

Booked this company to repair a kitchen…

Booked this company to repair a kitchen worksurface which had a pan burn mark and chips.
The customer services are very helpful and helped guide me through the process, asking for photos and a description.
The booking was made a week later and payment was made before the guy arrived.
Nico the engineer was friendly polite and great at his job, he was on site most of the day and worked on the kitchen worktop till the repair was complete.
I am very happy with the result and i would recommend this company for any repairs in your home or business they cover a wide WIDE range of repairs as shown on their web site.
Brilliant and thanks again Nico!

Failure to deliver - sorry its our of their hands ?

Placed an order beginning of the week knowing i fly out the country on holiday next week on Monday, so used BoilerJuice to for-fill the requirements. I was advised by email delivery FRIDAY, on Friday i received an email saying the following:

"We are sorry to let you know your supplier has not yet advised us that your order is on its way. Don't worry though, not all suppliers have automated systems to be able to give us this information, so it may still be on its way."

looking at the above: WE ARE SORRY, IT MAY STILL BE ON THE WAY?
This is not great news knowing i wont be in the uk to accept delivery.
This is the only problem with 3rd party (middlemen) who just take the commission and pass on the orders.
They CANT GUARANTEE delivery as they too are in the hands of the supplier....
There is nothing i can do now at this late stage other than remember next time to go DIRECT TO A SUPPLIER rather than use a middle man who has no control over the actual delivery of the oil.

(phoning the help desk was a friendly guy who could do nothing other than apologise..)

My first year with a Volvo car

My first year with a Volvo car, after owning Landrover vehicles for the last 10 years. and TMS HINCKLEY really impressed me AWESOME!!!
With advance emails advising of the work to be done in this service & mot, and friendly instructions over the phone when booking in. The showroom and staff all smart, clean and tidy, really nice environment.
Just really happy with the whole experience and would recommend TMS HINCKLEY and Volvo cars.

Went to my check-up appointment today

Went to my check-up appointment today, my original dental surgeon (Alice) had left the business and there was a new guy Joe taking her place. I felt anxious but once i met Joe he put my anxiety at rest, he's a friendly, guy, explains what he is about to do and why, and took some time to tell me a little about himself, this made me feel I was in good hands and no further worry was required. So "high 5" to Joe and ill feel confident on my next check-up im sure.

First visit to this garden centre, had a really good look around and was pleasantly surprised. Easy parking, clean & tidy premises, organised areas for each section of gardening, and overwhelming selection of stock. (Huge premises).

I would defiantly recommend a visit to this garden centre, even the staff are full of smiles and helpfulness.

I had bought a Hoover re-chargeable…

I had bought a Hoover re-chargeable battery from this company, the battery failed to work in the device so i returned this battery via Royal Mail Tracked.
The company received it on the 1.7.24 i am still waiting for a refund (today 15.1.24) it seems the company are unaware of SUE @ 12.24pm 1.7.24 who signed at there premises for the battery. Feels like the amount of emails and communication is a stall effort to avoid refunding the battery.
I wouldn't use this company especially if you think you may have to return something.

Arranged an Amazon Prime return via Parcel Force UK, collection of 6 chairs so large parcel.
Collection was supposed to happen on a Thursday (nothing), i phoned customer services who advised collection Friday, (nothing), i phoned customer services again for collection Monday (nothing), so im now arranging a 4th collection HOPING the driver will arrive... ? ?

Ordered a product from Amazon (Prime)…

Ordered a product from Amazon (Prime) "Next Day Delivery" on a Friday.
Confirmation arrived advising of the Saturday delivery, however nothing arrived. On Sunday i phoned Amazon who advised DPD dont deliver Sundays so it may arrive Monday (even though it was supposed to be delivered Next Day Saturday).
It did arrive 2 days late on Monday, and as a compliment i was phoned by a customer services rep who was to say, more confused than i was, she not only talked over me constantly not allowing me to explain or ask questions.
She quoted so many company policies how DPD work then changed her mind through the conversation advising "Shift Managers" make these decisions ? ? ?
When i tried to ask why she had quoted company policies but then changed her mind and advised other, it felt as if i was listening to a child make excuses over things she had no knowledge off and was making the rules up as she went through the call to me.
At the end of the call she was so confused she hung up.....

Three weeks ago Yodel messed up a delivery from SHARK UK and i had to re-order.
Yesterday Yodel sent me a text advising of a deliver slot for delivery of an AMAZON UK product, and yes your right the delivery never happened.
So YODEL UK what a let down again and again...

Shocking customer service

After ordering 6 chairs and receiving a text from YODEL advising a date and time slot. The delivery never happened i now had wasted a day off work to wait in. Ok so i understanding this is a let down from YODAL not VidaXL .... HOWEVER on sending a email to VidaXL explaining the problem, their response was "BE PATIENT AND WAIT" shocking customer service..."Yannie".

Delivery just sat in their warehouse for a week ?

Ordered a replacement steam mop from "Shark, brilliant company & brilliant customer service". HOWEVER this is the second time iv had issues with YODEL. Unbelievably they have had my replacement steam mop in their delivery warehouse for over a week, this shows on the tracking page on their web site. Why ? they don't have an answer.... i wouldn't recommend this company on any level !

EDF Energy, yeh they ok, with the exception of CONSTANTLY trying to get me to install an energy monitor, and keep putting my monthly direct debits up stupidly to amounts well over my monthly usage .. got to get electric from some one... Might as well be EDF.
