Really poor form that you increase the monthly payments without notification. Started at £50ish, now paying £75. I will be cancelling after this next lot.

I liked it for a while, but overtime the price almost doubled for me and some of the meals arrived all puffed up in their packaging. Looking like the meals were packaged whilst still hot, making me not dare to eat them. I want to cancel, but after contacting them I never heard back. There’s no clear way to cancel on the website either, which makes the whole situation very dodgy. Not what I expected at all. Do better Simmer!

I ordered a food parcel delivery as I have not had any food for 6 days I gave them my full address and phone number and they delivered the food parcel to the wrong address disgusting then they phoned me to tell me to go and fetch it myself this is wrong and disgusting I will never use them again

They had a deal on for 50% off as it was their birthday I ordered ONE set of meals nowhere does it state it would be a subscription, charged double the amount and apparently if you don’t ‘skip’ the meals on that week they automatically order them, gave so much notice to cancel and get a refund however the customer service was appalling, i warmed up the meals today as I have been fasting all day, they were absolutely disgusting if I was getting quality meals I would not be complaining but the taste was disgusting, you also have to email them to unsubscribe no option on their website, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

Signed up on a promotion and its impossible to cancel without jumping through customer service hoops, the food is below average as well. AVOID.

Simmer eats is a game changer! As a working professional in London, I was finding it hard to plan, shop for and cook healthy meals during the week. Enter simmer eats! Their meals are delicious, healthy and perfectly portion controlled. Their chicken burrito and jollof rice dishes are must-tries. Their breakfast options are also incredible - the fudge brownies are gooey, thick and rich yet packed with protein and unbelievably low calorie! Often “healthy” food compromises on taste, but Simmer eats meals certainly do not. The customer service is also impeccable - I’ve had really quick, friendly and helpful responses to queries and deliveries have been reliable and arrived in perfect condition (which is ideal as I’ve used other food delivery companies which have missed items / been delayed). It is clear that a lot of hard work goes into making this business function as well as it does - thank you team Simmer for everything you do!

I never received my first box, no contact all from them to explain that I wouldn’t be receiving the box, or why I wouldn’t be getting my food. They should have contact me, not me having to chase this.

After me contacting them to query this, I was told that there was a delay with DPD and that the food would be inedible- this was clearly a lie because DPD never sent any tracking info and the food never arrived.
I was told by this company that to make this ‘better’ they would give me my next box at an amazing 100% discount…. So they would send me what I had paid for!!
I explained this wasn’t good enough and I wanted a refund and my subscription cancelled. They again tried to offer me ‘amazing deals’ which aren’t actually deals, just phrased to sound as such.
A really poor service.

The meals were ok but to cancel is very hard and after 2 email saying i want to cancel they have now taken more from my account, disguted, DO NOT USE

Just wanted to give you some positive feedback so hopefully you see this! Your food is banging, as a mum of a 4 year old and with baby #2 on the way whilst juggling my midwifery degree it has absolutely saved my life to have delicious but also nutritious food available immediately (that I don’t need to think about cooking) for when I’m starving which is regularly! Can’t get enough of the jolloff 🤤😂 also your dad who drops my delivery off on Sundays is such a genuinely lovely guy, always got time to say hello and ask how we are and what our favourites are despite being busy. You can tell how proud of the family business he is and it shines through in the service. Thank you 🙏🏽

Meals are spot on very nice and customer service team is very fast in responding best meal prep service i have used

been on a subscription for a few months now and have been loving it! I’m vegan and the meals always have a good amount of protein in. Each week the meals are different which I love and they save so much time! If you’re thinking about giving them a go, I couldn’t recommend more!

I would rate this company 0 stars if I could. I paid for 1 set of meals which I never received, I contacted the company which didn’t reply to my message regarding my delivery order. The following week my card was charged the same amount again even though I paid for a one off meal. I contacted the company again and they replied 2 days later saying they cannot refund the money because I have to log in to the website every week to mention I don’t want meals. When speaking to my family friend they mentioned they never received their second delivery and that the first delivery was completely wrong. The company will not offer refunds, they will offer your money to be donated to charity. I would stay away as it seems they can trick you. I had to call my bank to stop the company charging my card every week and have currently lost out on around £270 and received no food.

I was really excited to try this service having (probably stupidly) seen it posted about by an influencer I follow. My first order wasn’t delivered by DPD so I had to literally throw it all in the bin when it arrived the day after. I had no delivery notifications or emails about it even being dispatched which was off.

The butter chicken is meant to be one of the “most popular” dishes … the chicken was vile. Pink, chewy offcuts that tasted awful. How are you going to advertise this meal as having slides of gorgeous chicken breast and then send a version that I couldn’t even finish? I appreciate food pictures are going to look different than the real thing but the contrast between what they advertise and what was received was stark. The customer service was good and they were responsive.

Food tasted amazing and fresh and was delivered in such care! The brownies and jerk chicken meal prep is to die for!

I initially ordered x10 meals to be delivered, DHL ended up not delivering my meals on the date specified ( which means I could not eat the meals as they were stuck in the warehouse - not Simmer Eats fault at all )
Simmer Eats were great to deal with. They did not want me to be out of pocket, so they rescheduled my meals to be delivered one week later ( they only deliver on Mondays )
I must say the the food is INCREDIBLE! So tasty, great selection of meals. I would highly recommend this meal delivery service.

Honestly shocked that something that tastey came out the microwave. Credit to the chefs, would eat that every day no problem 😂

Meals not tasty, basic and smells weird. Also they do everything in the most sneaky way possible to get you in for recurring orders. I cancelled everything I could see on the web page and emailed with no response but then see a new charge on my card. They were bombarding me with texts and emails before I placed the order but have sneakily fixed a new one with not even one notification. I hope these people fear god because it’s a scam and not how to run a business.

Not tasty at all. The food is too salty, and distinctly bleh.
Was really hard to cancel, still have about 4 boxes out of the 10 I ordered on my first and only order. Finally managed to cancel it. Tried another box today, the tofu katsu, eugh.
Never again.

The food is incredible! I’ve just finished my first week and every meal has been so tasty.
I’ve tried many prep companies in the past and after 1 week I’ve never used them again because the food is just bland and not enjoyable.

Simmer meals are such high quality and have so much flavour. I’m super happy and can’t wait for next weeks meals.

I live local, so my meals were delivered by one of their drivers. The driver put my bag on the ground, did my doorbell, and when I opened the door he coughed all over his hands. Then he proceeded to hand me the bag with the same hand. It was disgusting. Trying the meals, I was pretty disappointed considering how they market themselves as being the best with the whole "home cooked by Mum" gimmick. The sausage casserole tasted of strong vinegar, and the vegan mac and cheese they market as "one of their best meals ever". Please don't order it. It's so vile I had to throw it away. It was all full of cabbage too, and absolutely watery pasta, no cheese to be seen.
