Very attentive and helpful staff
The pick up is quite a walk from international arrival. That is not Omega’s fault, it is Christchurch Airport.
After the pickup, everything went super smooth: registration was very easy. We received quite a new car. The staff helped us starting up Apple Car. Without them we would have been lost. When leaving alarms went off. We returned and the staff immediately identified the problem: we had put luggage on the back seat without closing the rear passenger seat belt.
Problem free travel.

Rented a YARIS CROSS for 3 wks from…
Rented a YARIS CROSS for 3 wks from Christchurch to Auckland Airport. Vehicle was in excellent condition with ideal performance for New Zealand’s varied road surfaces. Collection and drop off from Omega was excellent, very professional inc booking of the ferry. Recommend taking gold cover with 0 excess which includes windscreen protection an absolute necessary given the condition of the roads.

5 stars is not a high enough rating
5 stars is not a high enough rating. Kelvin at Christchurch was fun, thoughtful and amazing at helping us out when our car was booked to be returned to the wrong place, during a very busy period when most places were booked out.
He juggled things around to make it work and we even got an upgrade in the process.
We can't thank him enough.

Poor vehicle condition
I was expecting a better car as I paid for what you term 'Premium Elite'. Instead, I got a scratched all over car with excess of 100k's on the clock and constant rattles. This car should be retired if Omega is serious about its image!
Only positive was the price, although the additional insurance made it quite expensive. You get what you pay for, but in this case, got less than I paid for.

The station wagon you hired is a 2021 model - regardless of mileage, our vehicle undergoes our safety inspections and tests before each hire to ensure its roadworthiness. We want to mention that a vehicle at $37/day during the school holidays is a very competitive price point. Thank you for providing us with your feedback.

Reasonably priced and reliable
As always, the daily rental cost is very competitive. The cars are not new but well maintained and serviced. The airport pickup and return was prompt and the counter service efficient and friendly.

Good service
Easy to book originally and easy to change booking at short notice. Increased costs due to school holidays was disappointing. Finding the pick up spot at 0030hrs was a bit challenging mainly due to poor signed at airport. Car was reliable and return was quick and easy.
