The vehicle is so comfy and clean, on top of that it is so strong to climb or going up the mountain. I recommend that I will rent it again from here when there is another time

I always book my rental cars through Omega because they offer a great selection at the best prices. The staff at the Auckland CBD branch are fantastic—professional, helpful, and honest. On my last visit, the rep actually stopped me from signing the paperwork too quickly so he could explain everything clearly first. I really appreciated that attention to detail and care. The cars are always in great condition and fairly new. Parking is usually available right outside the office, though it would be even better with one more dedicated spot. Still, that's a minor issue compared to their consistently excellent service.

I'd given 5 stars but the car I first ordered had a cut tyre that wasn't been spotted.
After a short time they gave me another car, but it could have been a bad experience if I hadn't noticed the tyre.

availability at time of needing a vehicle at short notice

It was my first time renting a car, and honestly, it was worry-free. The staff is very polite and helpful, the car was in great condition, and the insurance options give a sense of security at a reasonable cost.

The issue was the car itself - we would never rent this car again. Firstly, it was imported from Japan and the car settings could not be changed from Japanese language. This was not expected in an English-speaking country and made life difficult. If you are going to rent a car in Japanese, this should be made very visible on the booking before confirmed.

Then the car did not stop beeping/honking - very loudly so passersby could hear too. Beeped constantly when you locked, when you unlocked, when you unlocked but didn’t turn the car on within a few seconds. It was very frustrating and embarrassing.

The car itself had a very bad engine, too. It had no “grunt”.

We were very happy to return the car.

The service overall was very good. I particularly like the insurance choice at very reasonable prices.
Pick up and drop off where handled very professionally and the car itself was in excellent condition and was no trouble for our journey.
I wouldn't look anywhere else to hire from next time.

Customer service was great a very friendly guy on pick up. And car was in great condition. Easy to drive.

It was easy to pick up the car and drop it off again. Quick process of signing and getting all the informations. But if you had questions and would like to ring someone in the company it’s not as easy and fast as it could be. First there was a lady, who wasnt that helpful and then she connected me to someone else, who was able to help
