Excellent service from Kenny from the design team based in…

Kenny from the design team based in London Road, Glasgow has been fantastic. Any queries and the numerous changes I have made during the kitchen design, has been no problem to Kenny. As soon as I have contacted Kenny he has responded very quickly. I can only thank Kenny for his honest guidance, kindness and patience. I am now very much looking forward to getting my new kitchen fitted.

Excellent customer service

Emily was fantastic at helping me choose the right colour for my walls. She was altontraining one of the staff on how to use the paint mixer machine and was very good at doing so, explaining everything and reasons why during each step. I normally dont leave reviews but her customer service was excellent. Thank you Emily

I decided I needed a new kitchen I looked in several different stores didn’t find anything I liked, We went to wickes very friendly staff kitchens beautiful, had an appointment with Sarah Jenkins she was very professional and very helpful she measured up my old kitchen explained everything in detail, then we went to see her in store to see the kitchen Sarah had designed for us didn’t have to change a thing absolutely perfect, Sarah was not pushy she is very professional felt very comfortable with her, thank you Sarah looking forward to having it fitted Carole

Kitchen and bathroom design

Curtis Tew was very helpful, from his visit to the house, plans made and appointment in the store. He was calm, knowledgeable and understood what I wanted from both the kitchen and bathroom. Did not feel rushed. Took his time. Could not recommend him enough

Order and paid.....Out of stock...

Went into store early in morning to order a bench with storage. All good at this point, order paid and scheduled delivery. 4pm the same night another store called to tell me that they weren't in stock and seemed to relish not being able to help me with a date it would be. I then asked for a refund to a stunned member of staff who said he would speak to his manager. Frustrated but thought I'd get my money back so move on. About an hour later they called again and said as I paid in store they couldn't do a refund and I had to go back to the store. I said thats madness just sort a refund and he couldn't care less. Ludicrous poor attitude and customer service. I usually use B&Q and now I know why... I know you're probably not bothered but you've lost a customer.

Fitted kitchen

We have recently purchased a new fitted kitchen through the Bolton branch. The experience from start to finish was excellent and we could not fault the service. Jenny D was amazing to deal with and designed the perfect kitchen for us. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she made the process smooth and uncomplicated. We were impressed with the service and would be more than happy to recommend Jenny to anyone looking for a new kitchen. We are now looking forward to seeing our new duck egg kitchen take shape and come to life over the upcoming weeks.

Top Marks for Mark!

After a dreadful customer experience at our local Preston branch, we decided to travel the distance to the Blackpool branch to spend our hard earned money and hopefully have a more positive experience.

We were not disappointed!
Despite the shop being busy on a Saturday afternoon, when we entered, we noticed the light hearted atmosphere with pleasant staff and happy shoppers.
We had a query regarding stock (we were making a large purchase of flooring).
I approached a young lady on the till, I'm not sure of her name, Helen perhaps? She was very welcoming and dealt with my request immediately.
She radio contacted a colleague for further information, and he appeared as she spoke.
He (Mark) was upbeat and friendly, and he clarified my request. He escorted me to the relevant flooring area and chatted about the stock levels.
Mark disappeared to the stock room and then returned quickly, informing me that they had exactly what I needed.
He guided us towards the stock holding area to collect the products.
As we walked, Mark greeted other customers with a cheery "Hello", ensuring they were being looked after and able to locate what they were looking for. Each person appeared to appreciate his attention.
He brought the flooring out of the stock room and loaded it onto our trolleys, then helped us to move them to the tills.
After taking payment, he ensured that we were okay with the heavy load and thanked us for our custom.

Considering that it was towards the end of the working day, and the store was still quite busy, the staff were polite, chatty and informative.
I asked Mark to confirm his name and he informed me that he was the Duty Manager. No wonder the staff appeared relaxed and happy in their work, with an enthusiastic manager like Mark. He made a mundane trip to a DIY store and memorable trip out.
Despite living on the other side of Preston, Blackpool Wickes will now be our 'go to' for all our DIY needs. Thank you Mark and team!

Here we go again....3rd time.

Well.....we were told by customer services our item was coming by 7pm yesterday by FedEx......did it turn up....NO.

My husband called this morning to be told it will be delivered today....it is now 7.17pm and we have no item.

I have no idea where to go with this, I would tell Wickes to keep it but I need it to finish the job as it was part of an order.

Is this a joke. I have never had just poor service like this.

I will never shop in wickes again....

I only ever get a quick response when I put a review on here...work that one out.

Wickes are a great store but they need…

Wickes are a great store but they need to put proper seals on consumables as dirty thieves steal items then when people like us get home and open them thinking im buying 12 wago connectors and Im actually getting 6 isn't very good.

Its not on the store id say its more to the manufacturer not sealing the packaging properly and to the no good dirty thieves that think they are gods child and can get away with it not a good experience this time but like I said not on the store.

This was the store in truro

This was the store in truro. A big queue. 3 ladies working. Ive never found a refund so difficult. I only purchased the item 15 minutes before. The 3 ladies were of the older generation which is totally ok. Except 1 was getting in a flap could not work her computer. Told a customer to go to till. He queued then he was told to actually go to her. She then said that the colleague who can do what he wanted was day off. Not one lady apologised for the wait or the fact that they really could not do what was needed. Never again. Surely a trained member of staff should always be present

Always use the Exeter store for my DIY needs, friendly welcoming staff, knowledgeable and helpful.

First of all I love Wickes

First of all I love Wickes , I went to your Dorking branch today to return ab item ( my fault wrong fitting ) and to purchase other items , the young lady at the till was so polite friendly and extremely helpful , people are so quick to complain but never say thank you well I am doing just that , her name was JESS she made my day .
