Good wines at reasonable prices delivered without fuss or extra cost - what's there not to like?

Wine society is by far the best online wine retailer, in pretty much all aspects, quality and broad range of wines, cost and quality of service. I have been their regular flor over 20 years and could see them going from strength to strength, expanding their range of wines and making their marketing smarter. All of this is crowned by the fact that The Wine Society reinvests profits back to its facilities, wine stock, high quality service, and cost savings to members, i.e. us.

I follow recommendations of TWS and by and large these are reliable and tempt me away from my usual preferences. That was the case with my most recent purchase of a case of Chateau Cap du Faugeres 2016. It’s a well-sourced Castillon. Ordering was very easy and delivery by third party courier was on the requested date and a little earlier than the advised time slot.

It's a members' society. so it exists for its members. It's 150 years old. That's all you really need to know. Lifetime membership is £40, but that includes a first-time purchase of £20. You can leave it to someone in your will!

Wine storage in bond excellent and delivery from bond to members reserve and then to home also very well arranged. well done Wine Society.
