Great fix when all the warning lights come on
My usually reliable Toyota Avensis made it to the railway station in the morning with misfiring engine and all its warning lights coming on amber. I made my train and called the AA who were extremely helpful, and advised me to call again when I caught my return train. I did this, and Ben from the AA was waiting for me when my train pulled in. He knew the problem (a corroded ignition coil) straightaway, confirmed it with his diagnostic kit and carried out a temporary fix by swapping coils around. He followed me home to make sure all was OK. He is also returning the next day once he has picked up the replacement coil.
Great service from the AA and Ben (based in Durham though doing this job up in Northumberland). I was very sad at the beginning of the day and very happy at the end!
