I received an excessive quote by post from the AA
I received a letter from the AA, offering me home insurance for £323. But Go.Compare and other comparison sites were offering the same AA (Silver) cover for £117.39. Was the letter a mistake, or deliberate over-pricing? I did accept the quote via Go.Compare, as this was one of the lowest prices on offer, from a normally reputable company.

Hopefully it'll be good all year.
It's an easy service to change and join. However, I'll reserve judgement as most insurers appear to increase fees dramatically with no benefit. And you end up changing. Hopefully the AA will look after loyal subscribers.

Diabolical telephone system
The person who dealt with selling me car insurance was excellent. The thing that lets your business down is the amount of time it takes trying to make contact via telephone. I was waiting 35 minutes before being connected to somebody who could deal with my request. You must be loose lots

Make sure you read the small print
I was happy with the quote I received for my car insurance, but always find renewing my policy is stressful as there is so much small print to read. For example, I was disappointed to discover that the breakdown cover I paid extra for, only covers one call out. I hadn't realised this was the case.

Very grateful for the phone help
I was having an issue trying to set up my car insurance on line for reasons I won't bore you with! I phoned the AA for some assistance and spoke with Emma who was a star (and a real human!!). I can't thank her enough for her help as I was getting very stressed! My insurance is all sorted now so I'm very happy.
