Horrible experience

Horrible experience, never again. They get good reviews but the reality is that they leave you to yourself and for anything they need to do they ask extra money on top(40 or 35£). My policy was 20£ montly payments, just to specify.
I live in Aberdeen and broke down my car in Glasgow and it's just thanks to my mechanic(in Aberdeen)that I sorted the problem. Without to mention that they left me in the middle of the road Sunday evening till Monday morning at 11.00am and I have to sleep in my car. I wouldn't suggest it to my worse enemy. They care just about money no about your safety.

I would not recommend AA breakdown…

I would not recommend AA breakdown cover based on my experience.

I purchased a Nationwide Cover membership and waited more than 24 hours before making a journey from London to Bournemouth. Unfortunately, I lost my car key during the trip, which meant the vehicle could not be driven and needed to be transported home so I could arrange a replacement key through a Honda dealer.

When I contacted the AA, I was told they could provide a key replacement service at an additional cost, but I declined because I had already found a cheaper option through the dealer. I then requested recovery of the vehicle to my home address under my Nationwide Cover membership.

To my surprise, the AA refused to recover the car, saying I did not have "key cover" and that my policy did not include this situation. This was extremely disappointing because I had specifically asked about nationwide recovery when purchasing the membership and believed I was covered for vehicle recovery when the car was immobile.

Instead of helping, I felt pressured to pay extra for towing and additional services. It seemed that every effort was made to find a reason not to provide the recovery service that I believed I had paid for. This was my first ever call-out under the membership, yet I was left stranded far from home with very little practical support.

In my opinion, the service was misleading and did not meet the expectations created when the cover was sold. If you are considering AA breakdown cover, make sure you read every term and condition carefully and confirm in writing exactly what is and is not covered before relying on it in an emergency.

Very disappointed with the lack of support and the refusal to recover my vehicle home when I needed help the most.

Car insurance

When I was looking for my car insurance I found the quote the AA gave me was good value for money and I felt I am going to be well protected .

If I had known you used aegeas I would…

If I had known you used aegeas I would have looked elsewhere
We had a minor collision with a exhaust pipe in the road and had to call you out to recover the car
We still haven't been given a courtesy car and had problems sending pics of the damage to aegeas as it is all done on line which is difficult for my generation
