I've been to quite a few PureGyms…
I've been to quite a few PureGyms around the country and I think the Bournemouth one at the Triangle is the worst I've been to. There's no cleaning station by the weights meaning very few people wipe their benches before/after use, something continuously leaks on me when i'm weight lifting, it's overly crowded and everything is broken all the time - equipment, the lockers, the toilets, the hand drier hasn't worked for at least a few months and you can't wash your hands without being splashed by the tap.
All in all, it's pretty gross to the point i've been looking at other gyms in the area and will be switching.

PureGym prides itself on being able to offer state of the art fitness facilities to our members in a safe and welcoming environment. We developed industry-leading cleaning and hygiene protocols to help keep our members and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, however, with the reduced risk and in line with the Government’s ending of legal restrictions, we have decided to remove some self-cleaning stations in our gyms, which will also support our sustainability objectives by reducing our paper towel waste. We’re proud to say that many of the protocols implemented during lockdown, such as frequent and regular cleaning, and improvements to our air ventilation systems, will continue to be a core part of our TrainSafe Commitment.

Sort out the changing rooms. Stop the blocked toilets. Stop continues running tap.
No hand dryer for weeks.
The showers are now cold.

Run down and a health hazard
You refuse to have ample hand items for cables such as bars, pull ropes and grips. Your toilets are disgusting the sinks are always out of order as is the hand drier and you think a soggy roll of blue paper that’s been touched by everyone is a good post covid solution. The Urinals leak all the time and half the lockers are unusable. And your air con is never on so it’s always too hot and your staff do nothing to keep equipment clear and tidy

The gym has a variety of equipment
The gym has a variety of equipment, hardly ever short of a machine even when it’s full and lots of classes available throughout the day. The instructors I’ve trained with are friendly and helpful giving training tips.
Lots of weights to choose from and the gym is kept tidy.
Love that there are Sunday classes!
It’s shame that there are so many TV’s in the gym but non of them are on. I don’t use head phones, I like the gym atmosphere and motivational music, dance videos or even the distraction of a screen with a programme to watch while working out.
The new water dispenser is good and I like the flavors that it has but often it doesn’t work and most of the time the vending machines don’t work either, would be worth having them serviced.

PureGym in the triangle is awful
PureGym in the triangle is awful, much worse than other sites such as Poole and Mallard Road. Many of the machines are broken and have been for several years. The changing rooms and showers are dirty with poor drainage. There needs to be investment in replacement equipment to allow people variety.

We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.

Dirty gym.
Decent enough gym. But why are all the equipment so dirty!. Every time I use the barbell, my hands are disgusting black!. It's so off putting. Does PureGym not care about basic hygiene.

Some trainers are extremely loud when…
Some trainers are extremely loud when giving lessons, to the point of making people deaf. Sent a formal letter to the managers and nothing had changed since then.

Good price and no contract
It's a good price and no contract. However some classes not make you to go to the gym at all. Instructors must be motivated and pass it to the "crew". Loud music, good "gym" music and motivation. Gary has the best classes ever. I always want to attend his classes no matter what. He has this "combo" that I am talking about. Should have more and different classes as well like yoga.

Needs a refit badly
Although this is a large and well equipped gym, much of the equipment is old, some remains out of order for weeks and that which works like cross trainers for example all need a service. The wifi is patchy with areas with no coverage. It gets worse in the changing rooms where the showers are cold, lockers broken, blocked urinals and all very dirty.

They shut the gym a number of weeks…
They shut the gym a number of weeks ago, no refund, just a message saying I can go to one of there other gyms.
They clearly had not considered that I chose the gyms location for a reason.
Still waiting for my gym to open.
