Absolutely disgusting company.
Brown & Brown harass you to sign up, then completely change their story once they have your money. I was clearly told the cancellation fee would be £100 instead, I was charged £391.26, almost the cost of a full month.
They took around £1,250 for just 57 days of cover. No claims, no accidents, no damage, and no benefits whatsoever. That is pure exploitation.
This is not customer service it is misleading, greedy, and unfair. They show zero honesty, zero flexibility, and zero respect for taxi drivers.
If you value your money or your peace of mind, stay well away.
One of the worst insurance experiences I’ve ever had.

We would like to clarify that we do not cold‑call or pressure customers to purchase insurance. All policy information, including terms, conditions, cancellation charges and any costs relating to additional products, is provided in full before a policy is purchased.
The charge applied at cancellation is calculated based on the annual premium, the time on cover, and any optional products selected. Where a customer chooses to pay monthly through a finance provider, this includes an interest charge set by the finance company, which is also disclosed before purchase.
In this case, the charges applied were correct based on the cover provided. However, we have reduced some costs as a gesture of goodwill to assist you. Your feedback has now been passed to our complaints team for further review.

Today I cancelled my Taxi insurance…
Today I cancelled my Taxi insurance with Insure Taxi, I was assisted by Sue, in the cancellation process, and then Steve, who quoted for a new non taxi insurance policy. Both were highly professional and super efficient. I was not expecting the process to be easy, however, these two blew that misconception out the water. Great job both :)
