I attended this hospital 3 or more times so far.
Although the specialist seemed to be professional and he even re arrange a 2nd appointment to listen to my concerns in detail, I am still waiting for my medical procedures for more than 3 months and my condition is getting worse.
When I try to call, there is always a voice mail and after chasing them for days, leaving more than 10 voice messages in order for them to call me back, I only manage to get through after almost a week of calling numerous times!
Not only I was on hold for more than 50min, the lady I spoke with was rude and dismissive! They were keep on redirecting me to the same departments as no-one was able to communicate with me under professionalism providing me with the information I requested!
I had to spend 90mins on the phone in order to get a response and down to my disappointment, they told me that there is no reference for my procedures!!
Is this your level of professional care?
Is this the way you train your employees, to disregard and be rude and negligent to patients??
This is not the first time I had to send a Formal Complaint as BMI exposed my personal data and medical condition to third parties, sending my diagnosis to a wrong address and all this negligence affected my mental health as well as my work commitments.
It is totally unacceptable to treat patients in such a contemptuous way!

Had treatment on Saturday. I was very nervous. Upon entering the building I was greeted by a member of staff at Lancaster called Kimberley she was lovely and made me feel more at ease and less nervous straight away. All the staff at the bmi hospital in Lancaster were amazing and I received great care and treated with respect and listened to.

I should NEVER have chosen this company! I asked to check my health faster then with NHS only because I have a family emergency and instead I am here, with one test not yet carried out BUT already billed to me...and they would like me to take it again as "it was insufficient to carry out the test" but insufficient enough to send me and invoice! ONE MONTH FOR A DIAGNOSIS that would take days abroad! £1166 for a CAT scan, 1 consultation and faeces TEST! So now I shall go abroad for the family emergency and have the same test done for 27 Euros and the result back to me the same day...BMI charged me £100!! I have made one BIG MISTAKE in choosing them...don`t make my mistake, go abroad!

Had MRI scan, weeks later a spinal injection , both excellent, on time, no hassle and did not have to wait long.
Only fault difficult trying to get through to enquires on phone.
They say they are sorting it out
Make sure they know what medication you are on especially anticoagulants

I had RNY Gastric Bypass with Phoenix Health at the BMI Alexandra, BMI's Flagship Hospital in Cheadle on 28th April 2021.
I found the hospital staff welcoming and the hospital was clean.
I also wanted to thank the healthcare assistant Emma on the Chester Ward, very friendly and helpful.
The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because:
On the date of discharge, I was discharged at 7pm due to my transport only able to get to the hospital at the time. The nurse brought my medication to take home and said she will be back to tell me when to take them, but never did and also had was waiting for a discharge form, had to ask again for one as the nurse forgot.
Everybody at The Chaucer Hospital Canterbury from the receptionist to the Consultant; Mr G. Tsavellas who looked after me today made the experience as pleasant as possible. I can’t praise them highly enough.
I was treated very professionally and with a helpful, caring and supportive manner.
I wouldn't even give this 1 star. The consultants at this hospital who claim to be a team clearly do not communicate with each other. They all say different things and do not follow up with what they say! The current consultant has said twice now about my bother needing an emergency MRI before treatment. When I follow it up with the imaging team at BMI, the referral does not state this, nor has it been updated following the second appointment. It's beyond a joke now to see how these consultants say something to patients and do not act on the advice they give! An absolute disgrace. I am being respectful and not naming and shaming them - the fact that I have recorded evidence as well.
Took my 88 year old mother for a CT scan on 8/5. The staff were wonderful. In particular Flo was really help full with my mother

This review is for the BMI the london independent hospital. The Admin staff that manage the outpatients at the beginning when they check registration form don't do their job properly. In-spite of providing them with the corrections on the registration form of my insurance details and other details. They failed to update this on their system. Now i'm being chased by consultant on this, cause the hospital admin staff didn't do their job properly to update our details on the system.

Had a colonoscopy today at the BMI Hospital in Blackheath. It was all clear and wanted to share and say thanks to Dr Gera and his support staff in the Endoscopy department for looking after me and making the whole experience pleasant!

I needed YAG capsulotomy after cataract surgery.
Was on NHS waiting list, but no idea when would be seen. Looked to go private and BMI Goring Hall quoted attractive price of £400-450 on the phone so went ahead.
Procedure went well, with consultant agreeing I needed the YAG.
After procedure received bill of £350 from consultant which I paid, followed by another unexpected bill from BMI for additional £300 for “hospital fees”.
BMI claimed afterwards that I should get 2 bills and that £650 was the upper limit of the range they quoted to include any follow-on tests, of which there were none.
No mention of “hospital fees” originally from BMI.
Warning to anyone considering BMI – get a written confirmation from BMI of maximum price of a procedure, or you might get stung like I did.

Hi, this review is regarding a Private ICSI Treatment. Managed by DR BAGHDADI AT THE FERTILITY DEPT.
I met DR BAGHDADI initially took £200 for an hour consultation which only lasted for 30 mins and he felt as if his going over the same things. Which made us feel out of place but he managed to entice us in.
Then got charged £75 each for corona tests as I mentioned there are other options but they declined. So once results came in treatment started. Was quoted a price at the start so we paid as we went along. After going through everything and confirming and signing forms etc... tried to question BAGHDADI again and he replied I don't have time for you as I've told you everything you need to know and it's time for action now. Medication which DR BAGHDADI suggested automatically went up by price and volume. Once everything went through and pregnancy test came negative. We called to inform was told ok bye. No response until we called BAGHDADI ourselves and spoke to him and he advised just book again and it all really depends upon finances. Few weeks later received another letter demanding payment and some things were missed out etc... really inconsiderate and unprofessional. I wouldn't reccomentd dr BAGHDADI to anyone or that dept as the staff were rude and terrible at answering phones and arguing with patients on who's right and wrong.

Very disappointed, my daughter was sent here for a mole removed, she has significant mental health problems and at her initial consultation we were reassured by a lovely doctor and nurse that I could go in with her on the day of surgery, I turned up at the department with my daughter and wasn’t allowed past reception, basically being told I’m lucky to even be in there as really I shouldn’t even be in the hospital, I explained the initial consultant had said I could go in no issues and could they not check to be told by the staff member again that that’s with them at there hospital but doesn’t apply here and again I was lucky to even be in reception, not even prepared to let me explain my daughters condition and it’s the effect on my daughter that concerns me as after being reassured and mentally prepared that I would be with her to be taken in alone, very anxious, feeling like I’ve lied and let her down, even more annoying is that while sat in reception another patient came in with a family member and both were taken through no questions asked, very annoying

I am so happy with the service that was provided by the Enfield branch . A massive thank you to Dr Selo - Ojeme and his great team. Everything was explained thoroughly, everyone was so polite and kind. The lovely Emma looked after me in my room, I was quiet nervous, she calmed me, reassured me over and over again. She was just so brilliant, I could not praise her enough. Thank you to the whole team you are absolutely brilliant.

AVOID. Had an appointment to see a gynaecologist. She was not very nice, didn't go through my procedure with me properly. I gave her my scan results which she didn't bother looking at, never diagnosed me, didn't examine me at all. Cost £200 for a 5 minute appointment was a waste of money. Would not recommend at all, only interested in the money no care for the patient.

This is for the awesome help I got from Nottingham private BMI GP services. I saw a Dr Law, and after being ripped off by another private outfit I was terrified of losing yet more money, and I wasn’t in my usual setting. He was kind, logical, methodical and charged me less than I expected, and I got the help I needed.
The problem I have is trying to pay the man, I just got the bill but it keeps going to a hospital in Aberdeen? Not in the same catchment area all.

All the staff at the Duchy Harrogate were highly competent and helpful: nothing was too much trouble. I had an excellent surgeon who advised me to do both knees at once: this turned out to be a good move. The nurses, physios, admin and catering staff were friendly and encouraging. I was on a fixed fee basis. The five month follow-up x-rays show a good outcome: I am now able to do long hill walks pain free. The food was commendable.
