Bag came quickly but smells horrible like to the point where it’s hard to even use.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING VALUABLE FROM THE REAL REAL! I bought a pair of Roberto Coin earrings for $2500. First they sent them to the Miami store instead of my home in Tampa so I did not get them in time for a a gift. I called several times and was disconnected. Finally I received them a month late (after Christmas). As I put the first one on, it broke off in my hand! I called and told them I wanted to send them back and they told me to wait and send photos.
I sent photos and did not hear back. I could not get through to a human and kept getting robotic emails from "Jessica". I had to resend the photos and again heard nothing except computer generated emails apologizing for the delay. This went on for so long that I wrote an email with a deadline saying if I did not hear back regarding returning them for a full refund I would be forced to dispute with my credit card. When I disputed the charge two months later, my card company also advised me not to send them back until issue was resolved. I sent my email chain to card company showing that I had contacted REAL REAL multiple times and offered to send the defective earrings back. The Real Real lied and said I never returned them(because they told me not to) and I lost my dispute.! They ran out the dispute clock by not responding until the last minute so the time period of dispute ran out.I appealed it and my card company said I had to try to resolve with REAL REAL again. I just tried to call them again and as was typical I got disconnected. This went on since NOV 22, 2025. It is now April 28 and I am stuck with $2500 earrings. DO NOT ORDER VALUABLE JEWELRY OR PURSES FROM THEM!THEY DO NOT BACK UP WHAT THEY SELL. They have zero customer service. I am stuck with $2500 broken Roberto Coin earrings.

My coach tote bag came on time and in a RealReal dust bag, which I appreciate. Although the listing stated there was some minor discoloration on the bag, I did not see any when I received it, which is a bonus. I already have another bag from TRR on the way. 😆

They misrepresented a purse that I purchased. Upon arrival, when I pulled it from the bag, it reeked of smoke. I attempted to start a return but their return policy, which you have to pay extra for, is incredibly complicated. I couldn't figure it out in time to return it. When I reached out to their customer service, they just told me that it was beyond the return window and there was nothing they could do. In addition, they told me I could consign it with them to recoup some of my money. I'm not going to give them more money when they're likely to misrepresent this piece again. They say they authenticate it but obviously they do a poor job.

The dress that I purchased has a huge tear (2 inches) in the sleeve. How could this be missed by inspectors and not cited in the condition notes? I’m too busy at work to think about returning the item. I’ll eat the cost or repair it myself.

I don't recommend selling here. The commission is high. I sold a nice Prada jacket for just $29. Recommend DIY. The sign on offer is attractive and you get some goods that's about it.

The tag for returns was off the item in the box. I dont intend to return it but kinda sleezy. The tie itself is loosely tied so i will need to repair it. The condition was not as advertised. Cant reccomended buying from therealreal

Well there's always room for improvement, so here it is. One of the items that I bought was sized very wrong. I thought that I purchased a XXL, however it was only a L.

Shipping, still has not arrived. When asked, told I needed to wait. First est delivery was 23 April. Per the company (you) told ups change to usps. This was done date of delivery 23 April.. Now delivery date is 4 May.. pretty much scam the customer to say fast delivery then change it after shipping. I requested refund for shipping. And a 5% overall for the delay. I only received refund shipping. This was a gift for wife’s birthday. Yup, does not arrive on time.. Because your company changed shipping company.

The wallet I ordered was just as I expected at a price point I felt was fair. Delivery was on time without excuses. My only criticism is the lighting in the photos. Pictures are dark, especially with a dark item.
