I had some gold coins to sell. Emailed on Wednesday & got an appointment on Friday. Their premises are discreet but easy to find in a safe street in Edinburgh’s West End. Straight forward process. I was offered a fair price (way more than a reputable pawnbroker had offered) and after the chap had confirmed that my coins were real (done by lasers, no chemicals) the deal was concluded.
I was a wee bit worried that he warned payment might take 5-7 working days but in fact the money was in my account on the second working day.

I had some coins sitting at home and after looking at the price of silver online decided to contact Scottish Bullion. It was easy to make suitable appointment and easy accessible in town. I was met by Craig in reception and was instantly impressed with customer service. I was told the value of the coins and accepted. The process didn’t take long but was really impressed with Craig’s knowledge and how well he explained what happened next. I received receipt and instructions on how payment is made it can take up to 5 days , but within hours the money was available in my account. I’d definitely recommend Scottish bullion as the valuation I was given on the phone was the same in person and it is a pleasure dealing with professional well mannered staff. I will definitely recommend Scottish bullion because I have friends who have not had this standard of service and this whole process was hassle free. Called them on the Wednesday morning and went straight to them. They gave me a very fair price for my gold and it was transferred the next day. Can’t ask for any more than that. I now know where I’ll go next time.
