RAC Mobile Mechanic Repair
I used RAC Mobile Mechanic to replace a broken auxiliary belt for the alternator and have the brake fluid changed on my MR2. It looked like a very fiddly job, but Joe the mechanic did an absolutely amazing job. I’m really pleased with the repair and so happy to have the car back on the road.
I would highly recommend RAC Mobile Mechanic to anyone. The service was excellent, Joe was extremely helpful and professional, and he’s a real credit to RAC. Thank you, Joe!

Slick performance

5☆ in every way possible!!
I've been an RAC Member since October 2024 & my late mother was an RAC Member for 20+ years & in my personal opinion Alex-8567 is a credit to RAC!!....& I'll explain why :-
Not only did Alex-8567 complete a fantastic service on my car (my Dad's words)!!
He was punctual, polite, knowledgeable & 100% transparent & also provided a professional, kind, non-judgemental & patient Customer Service!!
To say that's greatly appreciated!!....Is an understatement!!
Alex-8567 went above & beyond being a Mechanic!!....He explained his findings & thoroughly talked me through his Report!!
So that I was able to understand everything 100% before he left!!....Instead of just emailing it over for me to have a read over!!
(That's very RARE from my past experiences)!!
Keep up the good work Alex-8567, if only there were more Mechanics like you!!....You're a ☆!!

My experience with the RAC is usually…
My experience with the RAC is usually very positive however this time the Technician was rude and uncooperative having me moved the car to an inconvenient spot which meant he was in everybody’s way.
Service has been completed on my car, however when I asked the technician if he had reset the service inspection counter on my car, he said yes only for me to discover that he had reset the oil change service indicator so now I have no idea where my car next needs an oil change.
The technician also moved my seat and failed to put it back even though it has a memory function. He also altered my mirrors and failed to put them back as well, even though he didn’t go out on a test drive.
Very poor extremely disappointed in the RAC

What a fabulous experience
What a fabulous experience. Bradlee was polite and efficient and very helpful. He told me that my brake discs were fine and didn’t need doing, so just replaced my brake pads. He worked quickly too. How refreshing that I only had the work done that I actually needed! I would really recommend this RAC service. It was brilliant!

Alex kindly called ahead to let me know he was on his way. Before replacing the car battery he took the time to carry out several checks and made sure there were no other faults. He worked efficiently, explained everything clearly and talked me through the warranty that came with the new battery. His van was tidy and well organised. He’s a friendly professional taking pride in his work.
