The original chap who diagnosed the fault was great and he also was kind enough to carry out a overall electronic check which identified some other issues too. A good experience. Thank you.

The repair to the tailgate was carried out yesterday. The gentlemen was very quick and proficient - which was what I expected. However, I could not recall any conversation detailing the warranty with the work undertaken, perhaps you could let me know? Also, the work undertaken was, comparatively speaking, quite expensive, as the parts can be purchased for @85.00 then the rest of the £192 quote was for labour for a task which took no more than five minutes to action and complete. Quite excessive cost and members need to reflect whether the service represents good value for money when you are already a member, Perhaps you could offer a discount to NHS employees too??

Mobile mechanics were great when they eventually got here. Roadside recovery first attended and told us they could not replace the battery so needed to contact mobile mechanics. They informed us they had done this. A week later with no contact we rang again to be told RR had not contacted MM. after going through a ridiculous amount of options, none of them correct, we were cut off. Eventually we spoke to someone that promised they would call me back by the end of the day. They did not. We rang again and eventually we were given a date. MM attended yesterday and Olly was great. From start to finish this has taken over a month.

Booked a appointment for my car full service, received a notification for the RAC Mobile Mechanic will be doing the job yesterday 19/08/2026 ) but never turn up and not inform me about the situation, used the service previously no issues, but this time not up to their standards. TC

The engineer was fantastic, showed great patience and endeavour when encountering an electronic hand brake which was not being released by the car computer.

From the start everything runs smoothly from making the first request for a service and contact from The mechanic doing the job with text messages letting me know when he will arrive and then about 20 minutes before he arrived he called me. I think this is excellent service. He explained everything plainly and clearly.

What work you did not turn up £100 for nothing. Not good enough

I recently required the RAC to attend a breakdown. The mechanic arrived in less than 30 minutes, Joshua 4280 was amazing. He went the extra mile to fix a fuel leak ahead of a 300+ mile journey, he could have put me on a relay or took me to a garage for repair, but spent a couple of hours sorting it. Can't praise Josh 4280 enough
