Excellent experience. I've never used RAC's mobile mechanic service before but after my local garage returned a car to me in a worse condition than I'd driven it in, I found myself needing a reliable mechanic and would never return to them. I booked a service with RAC online, and it was really straightforward. I received email and text confirmations, and my mechanic, Zak H, called me the day before to confirm his estimated arrival. Having a mechanic come to my home address rather than find a new garage was also a bonus.

Zak was fantastic. He put me at ease, was professional and proficient and serviced my car thoroughly - changing the oil, checking everything and refilling fluids. He also let me know about the brakes and clutch, which I'm very grateful for. Highly recommend Zak and RAC mobile mechanics and I'd definitely use them again.

We have not used the RAC Mobile Mechanic’s service until now but was very impressed with the service & how quick our appointment was booked in and the confirmation emails etc we received.
Our mechanic was Alex -8567. He messaged me the night before our appointment advising us of an hour time slot when he should be with us the following morning. That was really great so that we knew who we were expecting and an idea of when he would be arriving. The whole process of getting updates by email & text and then Alex rang nearer to our time slot to confirm his actual arrival time which was really helpful. It kept us fully informed every step of the way.
Alex needed to replace the fan belt tensioner on our car as it was making a lot of noise and we would have lots more problems if not replaced. Alex did such a brilliant job & a lovely guy. He explained everything clearly & replaced the part for us and was really knowledgeable and so helpful.
He also mentioned that the front tyre on the drivers side was really worn on the inside that we so we would need to replace asap and would be a good idea to get the tracking checked also. Really appreciated him taking the time to let us know about the tyre & tracking so that we could get it sorted quickly.

Excellent service I highly recommend and will be using again. Full service done of VW Golf and I didn’t have to leave the house. Shaun the mobile mechanic was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Price was also less than the garage I normally use.

RAC full serviced on my car today 50 minutes you can not do a service in that time I ring to complain they sent a report road tast completed 1 mile car never moved off the driveway please send someone to check the work I will wait for your response thankyou there is a camera covering my driveway I'm going on Facebook to ask the question

Had to have RAC revisit after having rear disc and pads fitted to my Skoda Octavia, there was a noise when reversing, RAC diagnosed problem with faulty pads, changed pads and discs again without any hassle, the Rac technician Carl Melvin was first class so polite and a very tidy worker, a credit to the Rac,Contacting the Rac mobile team is so quick and hassle free, answered within minutes brilliant service would highly recommend.

My mechanic Dean was excellent went above and beyond
First came diagnosed my issues and instructed what was needed to fix
Went and got the extra parts needed and came back to fix them was excellent cannot rate him any higher

The process, and Bradlee were excellent. However the extortionate price means I will not be using RAC Service again.

Phoned RAC when car would not restart.Call was logged by v friendly and experienced staff. The mechanic Andrew ID 7268 arrived in just approximately 1 hour .Such a friendly member of your RAC team.Got straight to work on finding the problem..He explained everything he was doing and advised us what to do if the problem happened the next day..It didn't.but under his advice we have.booked it.into a garage to have this steering lock immobiliser checked...
