Nightmare to deal with

Put in a claim for workers comp but whole process was a nightmare. Never had the operation as being a single mum couldn't take 2 months time off work. Now the claim has been cancelled.

The claim started off ok but then I would get a call out of the blue from a customer service rep. They couldn't keep their staff so you always spoke to someone different and received different information. Given I had never made a claim before I was relying on them for assistance.

I never claimed time off work as I used my annual leave and then didn't get my operation done in the timeframe they demanded I get it done.

Talking to some of their customer service reps would want to make you jump off a bridge if you were that way inclined. Some were lovely and helpful but others plain condescending and had no thought for the injured worker.

This is the worst experience with any…

I am absolutely DISGUSTED in what this company has done to my mother. This has been the worst experience of customer service that I have ever witnessed.

My mother has been in complete agony and is unable to walk due to this company’s negligence. They insisted that she used an ambulance due to the fact she was going to able to use worker’s compensation for her injury. During the given their 21 day period to either approve or disapprove her surgery, they purposefully avoided all calls and emails sent by my mother, her GP and surgeon to find what we needed for the surgery to go ahead. At the END of this 21 day period, we still had no confirmation of whether or not her surgery was going to go through. Once the required time period had EXCEEDED, only then did they decide they needed additional information for her surgery to go ahead in TWO DAYS TIME. This is completely disgraceful and honestly inhumane. It was CLEAR that she needed this surgery as a result of an injury that occurred due to her work. I am completely distraught for her and I am very glad to hear that CCI are shutting down. THANK GOD. Whoever these people are, they are completely and utterly horrible. I am disgusted.

After many years with the same insurer…

After many years with the same insurer I have to admit that price was
one of the reasons for my change. We will have to wait to evaluate my
choice honestly if it ever comes to a claim. My grandson now attends a Catholic
School, so that also has some bearing. Thanks

ICCI review

I have used CCI for many years and have had very few claims. I have no reason to rate your service as anything but excellent.

Hailstorm Damage

On the 18th August, 2019, there was a huge hailstorm in Adelaide and it accumulated in the area where the back extension meets the original house. (I remember the date as it was the day I returned from volunteering as a teacher in summer school in Hong Kong.) As the hail melted the water ran into the extension. It ruined my computer and printer and, over night, a portion of the ceiling collapsed. I thought I would be covered by my insurance but the claim was refused. They gave reasons but the interesting point is that no matter how much rain we have had since the roof has not leaked again. (I'm saving up to get the ceiling fixed!)

A Catholic Insurance recommendation

Catholic Insurance are a great company. I shopped around and found their quote to be the best. I’ve studied the policy and it is covers all my requirements. I’ve been with them for 2 years and will be looking to switch other policies to them as well.
