Adam and his team were great from initial consultation to final reports and any further queries I had. Communication was top throughout and was very efficient. By all accounts, my neighbour also very much appreciated Adam's professionalism and service.

Our neighbours appointed Adam Joseph for a party wall agreement. On phoning Adam, he did not appear to know who we were, despite representing our neighbour, and in his words he was 'walking his dog and not near his computer' at the time of the call. We phoned again a short while later, and he had still not checked to understand who we were. When describing some of the plans over the phone, he appeared to have no knowledge of what we were talking about and clearly did not do his homework. All very frustrating.

The icing on the cake was when we were sent an additional bill of £175 which was apparently added as he needed to let our neighbour know that we had made amendments which they had requested. On having some rather stern words with Adam over the phone, I was fobbed off with an excuse that 'the heat had got to him' and that he had a family member in hospital. Not really sure how that affected his ability to charge us £175 for a phone call to our neighbour. I was more than happy to walk the 15ft to next door and tell them myself. We then received multiple apologies once he had been caught out and once the agreement was complete we were asked to write a recommendation! PFFFT
Be careful with this company - they try and add on costs for whatever they can. We are a young couple, and it felt like they were trying to exploit that.

Adam carried out a Party Wall Award in 2022 on one side of my property.

Out of four surveyors I contacted Adam was the only one who answered all my questions and set my mind at ease. He responds immediately. He is also very friendly and efficient.

I am extremely satisfied with the way he handled the project to the extent I engaged him again in 2023 for another project on the otherside of my property.

I would highly recommend his firm.

I have undertaken to appoint Adam Sherling, a Chartered Surveyor to both oversee & monitor the removal & rebulding of an adjacent linked garage.
This is currently linked to my own garage at this time.
He had previously visited my location being accompanied by the designer of this proposed change of layout and use.

Adam spent a consideable amount of time discussing these proposed changes with myself & my own raised concerns. He also liased with with this designer & both took the opportunity to take numerous photos when required.

He has kept in contact with me on a regluar basis & I have contacted him several time via both phone & e-mail as well concerning my required clarefications.

I find it very comforting to be able to rely on his obvious expertise and suggestions on my behalf.

Stand up guy. Gave me some solid advice, not looking for anything in return or any angles that could potentially benefit him. Just straight up honest advice. No need for me to contract Adam on this occasion, but he will be the first person I call if I need a party wall surveyor in the future.

Amazing service - Professional and diligent.

I had a great experience with Adam, always very friendly and informative on calls and responsive over email. He helped me with two Party Wall Awards on either side of a Victorian terrace, one private, one council, and everything went as hoped and I’m now able to continue with my home renovation. I’d highly recommend.

Adam carried out a party wall act about a year back and we required him to come back to carry out some checks and also very kindly gave us some useful advice

Adam was very quick and efficient. Responded to my enquiry straight away and was very thorough and helpful.

There was an issue where the builders created dampness on the neighbour's internal wall. I called Adam and he came the next day and identified the problem immediately. He also came to my house and surveyed a problem that I was concerned about (a crack in an internal wall) that was nothing to do with the party wall agreement he was overseeing. He was there for an hour and did not charge me anything even though it was not paid for in the party wall award (it would have cost around £225 otherwise)-he said he was not far away on a job so it was ok. He gave me some additional advice about managing the builders. He really knows his stuff and is a really decent guy.

Adam was amazing, helped me through a tricky double party wall extension.
He knew what to do and how to get things done. Fantastic communication and brilliant knowledge, worked hard on the project and got things done. 100% recommend

Adam was easy going and down to earth and understood what i required. He kept me up to date on progress and replied to my emails quickly.
