During a house renovation we have visited our local Wickes Minworth branch daily. To say that the invaluable help given to us by Laura was a god send is an understatement; she is a real asset to the store. Nothing is too much trouble for her & her quiet understanding is just so calming. I only wish there were more Laura’s ! 😀

Tahir Younis was exceptional throughout my kitchen project. His knowledge of kitchen products is second to none, and his advice was always honest, practical, and incredibly helpful.

I made several visits before finally placing my order, and Tahir remained patient, professional, and attentive every time. He took the time to answer all my questions and never made me feel rushed.

I’m extremely pleased with the service I received and would highly recommend Tahir and his team to anyone looking for expert advice and outstanding customer service.

The kitchen I bought from Wickes is awesome, just not as awesome as the lady that designed the layout. Riah, altered the initial design I'd had from Howdens, creating much more storage space. She was instrumental in sealing the deal and was immensely helpful with every question.

We at Pembrokeshire FRAME are incredibly grateful for the generous donation from Wickes Haverfordwest. Their gift of compost has given a huge boost to our gardening team, helping us continue the work we do in our community spaces.

We bought a kitchen in excess of £20k from Wickes and were told categorically that the installation would be completed in no more than an absolute maximum of 12 weeks. The kitchen was ordered on June 6th & we’re now being told that the earliest date they can install it is November 23rd!! Nearly 6 months after the order date. The salesman is blaming the installation manager, the installation manager is blaming the salesman and the customer service is absolutely appalling. Absolutely shocking customer service

Delivery was on time and the delivery guy carried the flat pack shed into my garden which was really kind and also kept the flat pack safe until assembly. The Keter Darwin shed is great. I have the grey colour. The shed was easy to put together with help and it looks neat and modern in my garden. Many thanks

Designer Thomas at the Exeter store is helping me with regards to fitting a new kitchen and a new bathroom. At all times he has been informative, polite, professional. He knows what I require and advises me appropriately. Splendid service.

I was unable to find any independent gate automation company willing to install automation on these Wickes gates. Every specialist I contacted declined after reviewing the product and photographs, citing concerns about the gates’ construction, suitability for automation and their inability to provide any warranty for the installation.
Despite providing Wickes with written opinions from independent automation specialists, photographs and supporting evidence, their Customer Services team repeatedly refused to acknowledge my concerns or offer a refund. Instead, they continued to rely on a single installer recommended by their supplier, despite the consistent views expressed by every independent specialist I contacted.
In my opinion, the product description “Suitable for Automation” does not reflect the reality experienced by consumers seeking professional gate automation services, and I believe it created a reasonable but misleading expectation that directly influenced my purchasing decision.

I appreciate your acknowledgement of my concerns. However, an apology alone does not resolve the issue.

My concern remains that the product was advertised as “Suitable for Automation”, yet every independent gate automation specialist I contacted declined to automate these gates after reviewing the product. This was completely contrary to the reasonable expectation created by the product description.

I would therefore ask Wickes to reconsider its position and offer a fair resolution by arranging collection of the gates and providing a full refund.

If this matter cannot be resolved directly, I will continue with my complaint to the Furniture & Home Improvement Ombudsman and provide all supporting evidence, including correspondence from independent gate automation specialists.

I sincerely hope Wickes will resolve this matter fairly without the need for further escalation.

Do not buy a kitchen from wickes.
Plinths have large gaps at the top.
The counter tops are so thick & the cooker is at the highest heigh.
We had to put wood pieces left overs for cooker at each side to have at the same level.
The door coating & shelves are peeling off.
Look elsewhere.

We recently purchased a kitchen from the Wickes Glasgow store and are thrilled with the outcome. Kenny Mccarlie provided exceptional service, going well beyond expectations to ensure a seamless experience—including answering queries on a Sunday. We love the new kitchen and highly recommend them.

Purchased a bathroom from wickes, 3/4 of said bathroom was delivered Friday for installation today(Monday) or so we thought? Phoned wickes customer support at 10.30 as the plumber hadn’t arrived, they said they couldn’t get hold of him or his manager and would call me back within 2 hours, 5 hours later customer service calls back and said the plumber was not going to attend but they have someone else lined up to do the job but would need to visit my home and do a survey it could then be another 8 weeks before installation, so now I have part of my bathroom in my living room for 8 weeks,let alone the 2 weeks I have taken off as holiday that I can’t get back!!This is not acceptable, I will be in contact tomorrow😡😡😡😡

Yasmin was very helpful finding my bathroom refurb items. Great value from the in-stock range and available when I needed them. If you could have some bathroom/shower panelling in stock in the most common white/marble colours that would be a great addition as it will save me a trip elsewhere.
