This tv remote is confusing. Normal up is down. Constantly changing format. Since tcl gone with Google everything is more about finding out about your live instead of entertainment. This modern tv... See more

No Chance.
Hello all.
I was looking at the TCL TV Ranges through different Sellers.
There is plenty of choices at different prices.
However, I came on here to look at the Reviews for this TV Brand.
In doing so, I will definitely Not be Ordering one of these.
Worst TV ever.
I bought firstly a 65 inch TCL that has been ok over around two years now, so soon after I bought a 32 inch for the kitchen and this tv has given nothing but problems. Some APPs can take 15 minutes or so to load, then it faults out and is impossible to get working unless I do a total re-boot. The worst is our Local TVNZ APP. Sometimes it will just stop and a sign comes up on screen saying something went wrong, then it also comes up saying memory is full. This has gone on for over a year and I have finally taken it back to the shop I bought it from and said even if they get it going, I do not want it back. Do me a deal on another brand. In saying all this, my 65inch TV also faulted out last night with a sign saying Something Went Wrong and I had to re-boot the TV.
Not had any issues with my tcl 65 inch…
Not had any issues with my tcl 65 inch tv does what i want has the apps i want and works well
I recently purchased the TCL 40S5400AK…
I recently purchased the TCL 40S5400AK from AO I was initially pleased with the purchase until I tried to install the apps for BBC iPlayer, ITVX and All 4. I found that it was not available for this TV. I must say that a Smart TV marketed for the UK would have had these most used apps available. The TV was purchase for use in our caravan and signal reception is not always possible. So, the alterative would be to watch the above-mentioned Apps on the internet via our mobile phone. I am very disappointed and I would not have purchased it if I had known these facts but it was not widely advertised.
It does seem a shame that a perfectly well-made functioning TV does not have these common Apps
It's not worth it
It's not worth it. I had 2 broken TCL TVs in 6 years.
The fist one lasted 3,5 years, when the screen started flickering and stop working.
I thought to give the brand a second chance, only for it to last 2,5 years when the screen black out and stop working.
My conclusion is that if I had made the investment 6 years ago in a Samsung, for instance, I would still have a great TV, could even sell it for a reasonable price. Instead, I lost the same money with 2 tvs that went to garbage.
The guarantee doesn't cover this kind of fault and it last 1 year max.
12 week old tv dead pixel and they won't repair
Bought a tcl 55 qled which has a dead pixel omitting white light after only 12 weeks (very annoying as it really stands out), they said it can't be repaired and under iso class1 the warranty does not cover single pixel defects ,they told us try and contact the seller for a solution , luckily we bought it from Very who have excellent customer services and they are giving us a full refund , awful experience would never buy any of there products again

TCL / Google TCL 55Q77K
TCL / Google needs to ensure that their TV's work with APP's that are supposedly compatible with their TV's! My issue is with the MLB App & Bluetooth connectivity. EVERY TIME and I mean EVERY TIME I launch the MLB App and connect my Sound Core Q30 headphone via Bluetooth the picture starts to JERK! The TV (TCL 55Q77K) is brand new! I worked with TCL support trying several fixes. TCL support finally suggested I take the TV back to the store I purchased it from. The support was very responsive it's not their fault they can't fix JUNK! This is not acceptable quality assurance.
I will also post my issues on 'TrustPilot' to reach a much wider audience.
My model is TCL 55Q77K. I would never recommend this brand of TV.
A TCL Roku TV that has failed in under 3 years
A TCL Roku TV that is under three years old has failed, the screen is completely black, no picture at all. The TV hasn’t had a lot of use, perhaps one to two hours of daily use on average. This is disappointing. I expect a TV to last longer than this. By comparison I have a Samsung TV that is older than 10 years and gets significantly more use, around five hours per day, that is still going strong after all this time. I won’t buy another TCL TV.
Bus en retard et infrastructures…
Bus en retard et infrastructures pitoyable
I have purchased TV recently 3 days…
I have purchased TV recently 3 days before and it is not connecting top our wifi networks we are not able to see TV only ,the service provider from TCL is also too late.
Till now TV is of no use
No use of purchasing TV as that is no use without wifi connection
this has been far my worst purchase in…
this has been far my worst purchase in my life was 35 when I got it and now 38 before the channel changed over it’s 0 stars really poor picture poor everything even down to the design of the controller does function properly
Tcl advertised a 1 year warranty
Tcl advertised a 1 year warranty. My tv quit working in 4 months . I was on phone for several minutes jumping thru hoops for a girl who kept asking me to try different things with a tv tha completely quit working. Then wanted me to send video of a blank screen? Got an email next day that said couldn't view email.Dont buy this junk tha isn't backed by a legitimate warranty at all!
Well it works
Let me be clear the TV works fine everything as described is there, however the picture quality is way below anything I have seen for many years. I bought it to replace a 13 year old Samsung that finally gave up but the picture on the old TV was way better than what I have now. I have tried everything possible to get the picture up to spec but no joy serves me right for buying cheap. One last thing speed wise it is not the quickest to respond to the remote so if you want cheap fine it does work otherwise avoid this brand
This is about the worst service ever..
This is about the worst costumer service I have ever had... First calling the place who sold the TV, then told to call TCL ....
"Hello.. we have a some problems... good bye"
That TV is going back to where I bought it and never ever TCL again...
It's not possible (even for an experienced guy) to get the TV to listen on the HDMI channel.. Not a "Source" button on the remote controller at all...
Expensive JUNK!
Had lost sound on the TV
Had lost sound on the TV. Talked to Customer service employee named Flor. She was such a great help and was so patient with me while she was talking me through the steps of checking out the problem. It ended up not being the TV but the cable box that was the problem. I would highly recommend Flor as a great employee.
I will never buy a TCL TV again
I will never buy a TCL TV again. You get what you pay for. The TV I purchased is only two years old the screen has gone black and I've done everything the automated person told me to, to try to fix it. The TV powers on but flashes TCL Roku then goes black. I've seen a ton of reviews and would have never purchased this if I knew this was a ongoing problem.
ZERO STARS!!!!
ZERO STARS!!!!
I own two of them unfortunately and both of them are the worst televisions ever! Always shutting off by themselves, slow as can be to get to an app, mysteriously changes to Netflix during my Hulu watching. Sometimes it won’t switch to over to shows, you have to shut it off several times to go back to home. I will never put a penny on another TCL.
