Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. I visited several stores in Hatton Gardens while shopping for an engagement ring but none offered the same level of service, professionalism and warmth that I experienced at Shining Diamond. Tara’s expert knowledge, friendliness and genuine care made me feel at ease while deciding on a design and their workshop allowed me to create the perfect engagement ring which made for a truly special proposal. I can’t thank her and the team enough and I highly recommend Shining Diamond for anyone in search of high quality diamond jewellery!

Clarice was excellent in facilitating my purchase of an engagement ring. Hatton Garden is an extremely overwhelming place and often you don’t know where to start, but I can assure you that Shining Diamonds is the only place you need to shopping for you engagement ring. We tried numerous shops, before coming to Shining Diamonds from a friends recommendation. A lot of places just show you zirconia and not actual diamonds, so it was refreshing how Clarice would showcase exactly what your ring could look like with different diamonds. If you come in with inspiration, then SD will be able to facilitate any diamond and setting choice, and help make sure the ring is balanced, even if the ring you had in mind is different from the offerings on the website. The price was fair and promptly received the ring in time for my engagement.

Of all the stores in Hatton Garden, Shining Diamonds was absolutely the best choice for my engagement ring purchase, and their customer service was beyond exceptional. Special praise and thanks in particular to Eleanor, whose expert knowledge, warm and kind manner and sense of humour helped me feel at ease throughout. She really went above and beyond to help me design the perfect ring, and the workshop delivered something very special that I know my partner will love. I am sure we will be back in the future.

From all the jewellery stores in Hatton Gardens, Shining Diamonds stands out as an absolutely outstanding place. From the beginning Eleanor guided us with her expert knowledge (and great sense of humour) through the collection of engagement rings to finally find the perfect one. Their pricing was very transparent with no hidden costs. We could not have asked for a better experience and we will definitely be coming back here!

The shop was so unassuming compared to the other shops in the Lanes, but what they offered was perfect. Charlie looked after us well explaining and answering every question we put to him. Not living in the area the ring was sent and delivered in a very secure state by our local postie. I would totally recommend Shining Diamonds to anyone looking for good service and value.

We have used Shining Diamonds for three family engagement rings to date as well as other items of jewellery and every time they have been absolutely fsantastic. The team at the Hatton Gardens store are so helpful and friendly and have been so fabulous with changes of plan, tight timescales as well as always being happy to clean my ring when I pop in! Cannot reccomend them enough.

After walking relentlessly round every shop in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, I finally came across Shinning Diamonds. I immediately felt welcome and at ease by the warm welcome received in the shop. I wanted a bespoke ring to be made for a special birthday of mine, with a long tick-list of wants and an extremely tight deadline! Jasmine came to the rescue! An extremely warm and helpful lady who went above and beyond to make this possible for me. I was kept informed every step of the way with messages and telephone calls, nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this store (especially Jasmine!) and would definitely return. In fact, our son is due to propose to his girlfriend and is now going to visit this shop upon our recommendation 🥰

Excellent customer service and arrived as promised on time, will definitely recommend, outstanding jewellery pieces

I ordered a custom-length tennis bracelet from Shining Diamonds in December 2024, expecting a luxury, bespoke experience. The bracelet arrived many months later and didn’t fit, despite clear sizing communicated from the start. I was told it could be adjusted, but I had to pay for return shipping and international delivery — even though the error was not mine.

When the bracelet was finally shipped back after adjustment, it came with a second unexpected customs charge, which I refused. Now, the bracelet is lost in transit and I have been left with nothing: no product, no refund, no answers.

The bracelet also came without certification or paperwork and felt low quality — not what you’d expect from a brand claiming to deliver “care, integrity, and attention to detail.” Customer service has been slow and dismissive throughout. A truly disappointing experience.
