Best decision of my life
I have recently started my new role with SBL 6 months ago and came from their competition. Best decision of my life, they are actually very supportive and professional company to work for. Definitely better pay and treat you like a family here.

I have worked for multiple DSPs in the Amazon sector. Operationally this one is the most organised and success driven.
It’s incredible to be part of a team where your skills are valued and rewarded.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’ve worked here for nearly 4 years and honestly couldn’t ask for a better company! They’ve been absolutely wonderful to me the whole time, so kind and supportive. I’ve even been able to progress right through the ranks while working here, and they really look after every single person on the team. I’d highly recommend them to anyone.
Dangerous Driving, Worse Corporate Indifference
Although I am not a customer of this company, I felt compelled to contact them following an avoidable and concerning incident involving one of their drivers. I took the time to submit a clear, detailed, and professionally written complaint, including the vehicle registration, date, time, location, and an offer of dash-cam footage capturing the incident.
That complaint was completely ignored.
No acknowledgment. No response. No indication that they care how their vehicles are driven on public roads.
The incident itself involved unsafe and inconsiderate driving: their driver approached a road obstruction at speed, despite my vehicle already being committed to the manoeuvre, and then refused to reverse, forcing me—through no fault of my own—to back up nearly 100 metres to
avoid further delay. This was not only discourteous but showed a disregard for basic road etiquette and safety standards expected of commercial drivers.
What is most disappointing is not just the driver’s behaviour, but the company’s total lack of accountability afterward. Any responsible organisation would at least acknowledge a complaint involving safety concerns and company vehicles. Instead, they chose silence—sending a clear message that they are uninterested in how their employees represent them or how their actions affect other road users.
If this is how they respond when concerns are raised calmly, factually, and with evidence, it raises serious questions about their internal standards and culture. Even as a non-customer, I expected basic professionalism. I received none.
Make of that what you will.
Worst company where i worked so…
Worst company where i worked so far..they hold my wages and blame me i was involved in road accident what never happened and charge me 3000£..iam going to report this scam company in police
Avoid at any cost
Avoid at any cost, you will end up doing very hard work and huge routes and they will deduct and scam you on absolutely everything. This is a SCAM company, one side of business is deliveries and another SCAM side is the workshop, etc. who charges 5x more than they should for damage, etc. If you don't want to end up working for free (after all their deductions, etc.) then avoid at any cost!!! Modern scam company all it is, i wasted half a year working there like a donkey and after all calculations i earned less than minimum wage.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Huge routes, hard work, SCAM deductions and very unprofessional management
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Awful, everyone is coming and going after they see what it actually is. Looks good on paper though
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
1/10 days is good, the other 9/10 is hard work and overtime which is not paid for.
left the company.and they are…
left the company.and they are withholding £500 from my friend.
I just stopped working for them they…
I just stopped working for them they have no respect or managements skills or respect to their delivery drivers less then a month of working for them and claiming I damaged a van they immobilized dangerously when I was driving hold my wages 3weeks I have evidence and proof off everything I will be taking them to as court has David mobilised a vehicle making me crash and charging me for van recovery when I was dropping to them anyway but didnt like that face i aint a statistic or Slave to their embossing me about i have emails calls messages even if they delete their side I'm always screenshotting the first message every time by the way Im self-employed subcontractor an i habe my own company to I just work for them as money an over heads was to much but looking at it I wasn't in Eva better way shape of form working for them at all a disgrace of a company who lies upon lies
Vile hostile driver!
Just had an incredibly hostile driver flash me coming out of a burial ground after taking my wife to visit our 9 year old daughters grave on Mother’s Day. Was going too fast and then continued to flash me. If that’s the type of driver you employ and how your company works then I hope I never have a reason to use your company!!
What a disgusting company to work for!!
I just want to write so that others will know before thinking of working for this company,
I have just recently left SBL,I have been with them for 2 years plus, initially I thought they were the best,I moved 5 of my friends working in another company to them, just to find out their worst attitude last few weeks. They give you the new vitos and send you working till late inside the bushes, farms, tinny roads and expect no scratches on the vans, when they check your van, they give you 3 times the estimated quotes.
Then they use you to work and then withhold your wages,my wages of 8 weeks withheld and my van deposit of £500 taken, what company is this?! Kindly think twice before you consider to work for them, there are lots of companies out there with good attitudes towards their workers, you can see all the reviews here about them, good or bad only gets automated replies to show you they don't care, they just exploit people, the government needs to check them.
Remember all that glitters is not Gold!

Worked there temporarily
Worked there temporarily, They will force you to work ( threaten you with your own pay) and when it’s payday they’ll find any and every excuse under the sun to not pay you!
Steer clear if you value your mental health time and energy!

Great company to work for
Great company to work for. SBL has been supportive and professional throughout. Special thanks to Douglas, the Fleet Supervisor, who was extremely helpful, responsive, and supportive whenever needed. Really appreciate the support and clear communication. Highly recommended.

2 vans parked all across an off-road permit only parking area. Asked to move by 3 separate people trying to park or get out. Very rude when asked. Arrogant driver of one of the vans. Lucky he didn't start a fight!
BORDERLINE ILLEGAL
In my experience, working for this company was extremely difficult and not what I was led to expect. From the outset, I felt misled about working conditions and the realities of the role. I was frequently placed in situations that I personally felt were unsafe, and management decisions often left drivers dealing with the consequences rather than addressing underlying issues.
When problems arose, responsibility was regularly pushed onto drivers instead of being handled at a management level. My engagement with the company ended abruptly, and I felt I was treated unfairly in circumstances that were largely outside my control.
I also experienced ongoing issues with vehicle rental and invoicing. There were repeated discrepancies and delays in payment for work I had already completed, which caused significant stress and uncertainty.
Overall, based on my own experience, I found the environment disorganised, unsupportive, and very difficult to work in. I would strongly encourage anyone considering working here to carefully research and ask detailed questions before making a decision.
Disgusting company
Disgusting company. You will be leaving the depot 12 hours later, they will charge you ridiculous things, will no pay you what its own, heavy lifting to unreasonable places, will block all their phones if you have a complaint. The public should know this company is disgusting with it employees and its exploiting them. Amazon should also know this and the Government should pay a visit.
to ex-employees please make a complaint to GOV.UK Pay and Work Rights helpline.
To ACAS & Health and Safety Executive (HSE) as well. Lets get these people accountable.
Also write to Amazon and other companies that use their services.
Note: those giving 5* are well know disgusting managers/employees of the company
Stay away from this company.
I've just recently left sbl, im just writing this review to save some of you that are thinking of joining, please dont waste your time, lot of promises from management but no results, they only look after their kind, they charge £500 deposit for van and you start work with two weeks in arrears of payment, which they say that when you leave work you'll still get two week of payment. But you can kiss the initial £500 deposit and the two weeks in arrears goodbye, because they will make up bullshit on van damages. If you get PCN they will rob you extra £30 for admin fee. Please stay away from this company. They've got their own kind that get 5 to 6 days work without fail every week, and give us 3 to 4 days work, which majority of it goes to your weekly van rent and you are left with peanuts, plus they will give their people easy routes everyday and their day will be done in 3 to 4 hours, where as you are grafting for 8 to 9 hours. Please save yourself the hassle of literally begging for shifts as cost of living has gone up. Please dont just go by my experience, you can read all reviews on here and majority if not all have had similar experience.
