Decent incentive offers to rejoin and…
Decent incentive offers to rejoin and was a smooth straight forward process to do so. A few clicks and all set up again. Activating previous PIN was helpful

I worked there for 3 years.
After training and working there for 3 years. I’ve concluded that it’s the worst run business when it comes to client care and customer satisfaction.
Equipment is mediocre. Never clean. Never working. It’s either too hot or too cold. Facilities are poor and all round atmosphere is just sad, quiet and bitchy.
I worked there as a full time and self employed coach for 3 years and my experience was mixed for sure. Initially our manager was incredible, kind, respectful and always talking to members.
In my final years I was stuck with a manager who not only brought her personal affairs into work, is disgustingly rude and hires anyone they can find including predators (then defend their actions).
Puregym also charge £650 per month to rent PTs and profit off them. As soon as you become a rent PT, you’re no longer included valued.
Final point. Whilst dealing with my mums 18months long battle to cancer which she sadly lost. I was met with zero compassion, no reduction or discount in rent and snarky comments like “you’ve taken too many holidays” and “bit moody aren’t you”.
This business is a terrible one to enter and a terrible to start any PT career.

Great gyms
I have been a member of pure gym on and off for years. I like that they provide you with a membership number/pin to get in that remains the same no matter how many times you join/rejoin.
The process to join was so easy, with optional add ons to your membership if required.
I have always found puregym clean, with a large variety of equipment and classes, plus I love that you have off peak payment options.

Great, friendly, inexpensive gym
Reasonably priced, good sized car park, friendly staff and gym members. Now have new equipment, cross trainers and treadmills all similar and fine. I found the new low rise bikes a little difficult due to the shape of the handles but otherwise all fine.

The gym equipment is good BUT…
The gym equipment is good and the gym users and Instructors are friendly, the only downside is the shower area and showers. Monday to Wednesday they are clean but then deteriorate and are filthy by Thursday mornings onwards.
They really need to get a grip of this as I have mentioned this on numerous occasions and it has not improved.

Poor
PT does not have the Common Curtesy to reply to an email requesting his help. It took me alot of effort to join the gym in the first place as I suffer from Mental Health problems and needed direction to achieve my goals. I chose him based on his qualifications one of which said he was a trained councellor.

No need.
My gym in Warrington always turns the TV,s off so you have nothing to watch when working out and when they are on, the spin class comes along and completely drowns out the gym music and ruins everyone's workout because all they can here is the instructor shouting over there ridiculously loud music, no need at all.

scamming company
send me an email with one price and then change it and then back again and back to the other. miss selling. why was I told no your having it full price we have corrected it and that's it ????? I pulled you up 6 times on this and each one saying its this price and then next sorry its this a number of times . !!!! want to sort it then leave me a email to correct this!

Extortionate abuse of parking fines
Do not use this gym on a day pass, despite following all the rules they issued me a £60 parking ticket. Absolutely scummy behaviour, tantamount to extortion using the legal system as a vehicle to shake down visitors to the area to milk some quick cash. As an online only company there is no recourse to contact anyone and fix the issue.
Absolute bullies and abusive of customers.
Edit: The ticket was eventually cancelled as it was not valid. The company clearly fabricated the breach in order to attempt to frighten me into paying them more money for a parking space that had already been paid for.

As this is a gym we can assist with when it comes to parking fines, all you simply need to do is contact Member Services and ask they provide you with the email address for our Assist team who will be more than happy to assist you further with this and contact the parking company on your behalf to resolve this.

Generally great but some issues
Classes are great and there are many exceptional instructors which keep me going back.
However, there are two things that let it down.
1. The air temperature could be cooler. It can be extremely hot in there, before you have even begun to work out.
2. The spin bikes could do with better maintenance checks. I often find that one or all moving parts, such as the seat and handle bars are dysfunctional and will move during use despite being locked in.
If they could fix these issues then it would be 5/5.

Spacious
Spacious, clean. Friendly staff ,Fair amount of equipment.
Some of the equipment machines and bench pressing racks are awkward and don't feel good to use.

Clean and neat always . Music could be better but I understand it’s a commercial gym so , no complaints!

Good Value, Flexibility, 24/7 and Good Equipment
Pure Gym is perfect for me. I have a multi-gym membership so that I can use both of my local gyms and I also sometime work away and usually can find one where I work. The price is very good and can cancel easily at short notice (not that I do). The gym is always clean and the equipment is excellent. I only do strength training very early in the morning so the fact that it is 24/7 is perfect for me. At this time I can get on all equipment and equipment is top quality. Beware these gyms can be overly busy in the evening so users will not have as good an experience.

Good value for money
Very well equipped considering the price, and if you go at off peak times, generally it's not to busy so you can get through your workout without having to wait for equipment. Very good value for money overall.

Hi there has been a cross trainer out for 18 months now? As I train In the morning it’s very busy and I usual train on the cross trainer. And every time they’re taken.
