Overpriced! We have 1 bin, 8 collections a year. 2026 cost has come in over £800 + extra for the duty of care document. Another company quoted us £5.50+ vat per container per empty + free duty of care documentation so £44 +vat for the same service!
Contacted PHS to cancel assuming it was a rolling annual agreement as we get invoiced once year. Turned out to be a 3-year rolling contract that was signed 12 years ago (under previous ownership) so we're stuck for another 3 years as they have 3-month cancellation policy! They have agreed to reduce the price from over £800 to £218+vat for this year, while it has been reduced, we're still stuck overpaying for a service that we could get elsewhere for lesser cost and more frequently. Please learn from our mistakes, the minimum term is also the rolling term and shop around!

I recently renewed my contract with PHS and received excellent service from Keith Kennett, Account Manager.

Keith explained everything clearly over the phone and promptly sent over all the service specifications, costs, and terms, making the whole process easy to understand. I requested several changes throughout the renewal process, and he was extremely patient, accommodating, and professional at every stage.

His email responses were always very quick, and he managed to finalise everything within just two days. The level of customer service I received was outstanding, and the entire experience was smooth and stress-free.
