Phone Convert

Trade-In ID:377978 which is an iPhone was received by him last week. Had to email to find out situation as no communication from company. Phone needed to be check which was understandable but then had to chase him up by email him again to find out what was going on.

To my surprise he told me the phone had bleeding on LCD screen. It was in perfect condition (which I have photos of) when I sent it.... and it was sent in its original box AND bubble wrapped!

He offered slightly lower price and thought I’d accept it rather than hassle getting it back.

There was a slight delay in the process which made me worry because of reviews I had read but have now been paid.

Took just over a week from them receiving phone to get payment. Therefore I have updated my review and stars

Had various emails saying my payment would be paid when it wasn't.
This went on for a few weeks then I emailed and threatened to go to the police and it was paid in full within 3 hours!

Would not reccomend at all.

Original quote of £239 reduced to £179 because it was "damaged"

Phone Convert received my iphone on 18th October. I was originally quoted £155. After a week they then suggested my phone was broken, it was not. They offered me £80 or they would return the phone. I asked them to return the phone. They then “lost” the phone, has now apparently found it and sent again. I still have no payment and no phone. This has been ongoing for over a month. Terrible service. Would definitely not recommend to anyone and I will be taking this matter further until I receive a satisfactory resolve.

Phone sent and received on the 23rd October all tracked by Hermes the ref number is 378794 but they say they cant find my phone. They have stopped answering my emails. I would definitely not use this so called company. The name is in the title Phone CONvert

Do not use this company, definitely a scam company.
They have had my phone for 7 weeks.
I've received no money and my phone has not been returned.
Supposedly sent me a cheque, then apparently paid money into my bank account and now not even returning my emails.
Since this review they have finally paid me, I expect they read this.
Still wouldn't recommend them though.

All explained and happy to understand so 5 star from myself as there was no bad intention and server problems happen.

Took a while to get the money I was owed but after contacting phone convert I did receive it so very happy, thank you.

We have send 5 Iphone to phonedirect 8 months ago. We were send only £50 so far.

Its been 8 months and now the website is down.

Please cna we have a confirmation whne we will have the remaining amount.

I sent my phone a couple of weeks ago and still heard nothing! Now the website seems to have been taken down! A lot of people seem to be having same issue saying it’s a scam so will be getting police involved/small claims court

Still says not received phone have reported to ACTIONFRAUD please everybody else do the same to stop this guy!

Also report to Truro police!!

Sold a couple of iPhones to them now and it's been fine.

Sent my phone 6 weeks ago, delay in acknowledging any receipt until I chased it. Renegotiated a price as battery was old but until now despite intermittent contact saying 2 cheques have gone out but 'lost', I have still not been paid and no further response. Will be taking this to small claims court. Order #375725

So despite writing a review on how shocking this company are and how they’ve stolen my phone and not paid me, they apparently have ‘reached out for more information’ yet they haven’t replied still.
I am sick of chasing this company and are taking this up now as theft.

Do not use this awful company!

Seen a few negative comments but no issue for myself and happily use again.

I wouldn’t even give this company a 1 star review. I sent my phone to them weeks ago. No contact from them at all. I had to submit a request to see where this was up to. They told me of lower fee to be given to be as previously agreed because of an issue with the phone. That was agreed over 2 weeks ago an since then they have promised to make a bank transfer to me which has not been completed and they have also promised me to send a cheque out to me, which hasn’t been done either. When I ask for proof of the funds transfer, they gloss over it an say they have issues with their bank. I am in the process of taking action against them as I strongly believe they are scamming me. Utterly ridiculous service from them. STAY AWAY !!!!

Didnt need to do anything but post the item. Delayed slightly due to an issue butbresolved and all is fine.
