Had four new tyres, tyres great, technician great apart from they forgot to put all my plastic wheel nut covers back on, yes i noticed four weeks later as been on holiday and just got round to cleaning the car and alloys, Halfords customer service didn't want to know said they couldn't prove it was him, just dismissed me, nothing they could/would do, small part easily replaced but shouldn't be by me, he would have seen all 20 shiny gloss covers in his van but said/did nothing, we spent a lot of money with Halfords, can't believe they would lose good customers over such a small thing that was their fault, back to mobile Kwik Fit next time, will never use them again with that sort of after care customer service.

Turned up when stated. Completed the work quickly. Friendly customer service.

I had a blowout on Sunday evening and managed to limp home. That evening I was able to book Halfords to come out on Tuesday to visit me at home and replace my wrecked tyre. Their price was (in comparison) reasonable, and on the day, the technician was friendly and professional. Overall, I have been very pleased.

A slick booking process giving me the flexibility to select a suitable time.

The Service was top class. A complete professional service by a dedicated professional.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Halfords. After having my tyres fitted and balanced, the wheel balancing was shockingly poor. The car still suffered from noticeable vibration, which should never happen after a professional tyre fitting.

To make matters worse, when I took the car to an independent garage to have the issue corrected, they discovered that one of the wheel bolts had been overtightened so badly that they couldn’t undo it without risking damage. This is completely unacceptable and suggests that proper torque procedures were not followed.

I ended up paying another garage to fix problems that Halfords should have got right the first time. I expected a professional service, but instead I was left with extra cost, inconvenience, and concerns about the quality of their workmanship.

I would not recommend Halfords based on my experience.

The tyres were excellent value for money.
The process of ordering the tyres and booking the fitting was easy.
The online 'job tracker' was very helpful. The fitter turned up on time and called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. He completed the job efficiently and quickly. From start to finish the whole process was easy and there was no issues, would highly recommend.

Used Halfords a lot recently and the work has been fine. In this instance I tried to make a booking, money was taken but I was left with no booking. It was a lengthy and stressful process to get my money back.

Booking the slot was easy and straightforward with plenty of options available. Jay let us know when he was on his way. He was very polite and friendly and quickly set about installing our dash cam. He's done a lovely job and took the time to talk us through how it works as well.

Easy to book online and came to my home to replace tyre. Halfords tyre fitter was very helpful and polite. He rang to let me know he was on the way. It was also reassurring to know the tyre had a nail in the shoulder and could not have been repaired. I would highly recommend the service.
