Item not dispatched and unresponsive support.
I placed an order for an item listed as in stock with next-day delivery. Payment cleared, but a week later the item had still not been dispatched.
Over the course of several days, I contacted customer support three times:
3 days after purchase: Informed via live chat that the issue was escalated to a concern team and I would receive an email update. No email arrived.
Sent a follow-up email directly to support. Telling them if I didn’t receive the item within a week I’d like a refund so I could source the item from somewhere else as it was needed for a job I was doing. Received no response.
6 days after purchase: Contacted live chat again. The agent suggested there might be a payment issue (despite bank records showing payment had cleared and promised an update by that afternoon. No follow-up was provided.
I used PayPal to make the purchase and initiated a claim for a refund through PayPal. Only after that did the item then get dispatched despite me asking for a refund and arrived 9 days after purchase.
While delays can occasionally happen, promising callbacks that never happen and leaving orders in limbo with zero proactive updates is unacceptable. I would advise potential buyers to be cautious regarding delivery estimates and support responsiveness
