0 Star review! This healthcare company is an absolute farce. Had a ct scan done months ago. Contacted them many times and still not released my results to me or anyone else. Completely and utterly useless incompetent healthcare service. Under no circumstances should you use them or get reffered to them by nhs.
Update to your reply below. I had already contacted your company various times prior to leaving the review. I will now forward them emails to you so you can check yourself. And no doubt you will not help either as it’s been happening for months. No so called medical professional can be bothered to do their job and pass on the results.
Thanks

Referred to BMI Winchester for knee replacement. Seen by consultant, appointment was hurried and rushed, £140 for five minutes seems steep. MRI done, three weeks of phone calls from me to chase for results. Surgery was chaotic arrived at twelve but left waiting until 5pm which was stressful. Nursing staff were kind and excellent. One year on and I've not received any aftercare, no physio or check ups by consultant which having paid £14k I think is a disgrace. Now with another hospital trying to resolve ongoing issues from botched operation. This company is only interested in money once paid they don't give a damn. I would never recommend them.

Six weeks ago I successfully underwent a Laproscopic Myomectomy under the care of Mr Afifi and his team at the Priory Hospital in Birmingham. I was normally apprehensive as anybody is prior to surgery but received excellent care prior too, throughout and including my follow up appointment. I would especially like to thank Yasmin Khan Mr Afifi’s secretary for always being available and extremely supportive prior to my surgery, which I feel is always the most stressful part of a patients journey. Thank you Yasmin for always be attentive and professional Amanda.

Really poor service, I wish I'd seen these reviews earlier. I had a consultation back in April, with "urgent" and very costly MRI and X Rays, all paid for privately, and over 3 weeks later I am still waiting for a report to be sent to my GP. You can't get a secretary or consultant on the phone, if you do get a secretary, they just lie to you. They also do not appear to have a complaints procedure on their website.
I've been left feeling that because I didn't book an expensive operation based on a phone call, they are just not interested.

If I could give zero stars I would. Shocking communication from the consultant, his PA and the imaging centre. I sent multiple emails, mademultiple phone calls and was promised call backs and received nothing despite having been told that I needed a brain scan. Regardless of the potential severity of my affliction, hearing that worried me and the hospital have done nothing to help allay my fears. Not to mention that I have been in pain for a month and paid for the service! Would not recommend.

I have just had two cataracts operated at this hospital situated in southend on sea. Essex. The operation was completed by Professor Argwall and it was a complete success from start to finish. The staff were very polite and courteous and very welcoming. The Professor put you completely at ease before and during the operation. The follow up was all I could hope for. Brenda Minkey

This is the worst hospital you are ever likely to come across. They are diabolical. The administration is diabolical, their procedures, appointment booking correspondence, and every single facet of the hospital are atrocious. I do not have the words to even convey how poor this hospital is. I went in for surgery, and the surgery was a failure. I was given the wrong anesthetic. The wrong surgeon was booked. The wait times were ridiculous and every single aspect of this hospital is a complete shambles from top to bottom - this is simply the worst hospital in the history of hospitals. They are an embarrassment to the medical profession.
The surgeons are rude. Tactless and inexperienced. I came to this hospital expecting treatment and I did not receive it. I awoke after going under anesthetic with the same condition I have now. I then had to wait 2 weeks for their letter confirming that they cannot treat me.

Had an amazing journey from arriving for a full hip replacement until being discharged a day and half later. The staff from the consultant surgeon Dr Othman, and his anethetist and all the other members of staff right down to the cleaner were very caring and attentative.
A special mention to Ellie on nights who attended to my buzzer calls and sorted some stronger pain medication and also found time to reassure me of any doubts I had.
I've been home exactly a week now and already had 2 courtesy calls plus 4 follow up physio appointments and my follow up appointment with the consultant. So I honestly can't say anything negative.

Visiting the Syon BMI GP walkin service today. Would be so much quicker to wait in A&E I have now been here almost 2 hours. Nobody has updated me on waiting times, there was one person with the GP when I arrived and that person is still in there, surely for £120 the very least staff can do is update you instead of letting you wait in pain and discomfort Shockingly bad service !!

I had a Knee MRI done at £460.00!
On the internet the same is offered between £160.00 - £250.00.
A Royal Rip Off !!

Not what you expect from a private hospital where you pay loads of money.
The morning of my surgery I arrived in my room which was FREEZING cold, I was left there to wait from 7am until 12 ish.
Around 10, I have asked why it was so cold and was told from the nurse “Oh it doesn’t work in this room”. WHAT?!?!?
I have then asked for another room or to fix it as I would get surgery done soon and I needed a warm room.
Eventually they came with a portable heather which wasn’t doing the job properly and left me shaking to the point that as soon as they said I could go home I packed everything and run!
Not to mention the fact that they kept forgetting about bringing meals, yogurt tea and water was all I could have and without my reminder I would have never got it.
The room was not looked after properly nor the bathroom, is not worth for what you pay, old and not looked after properly.
Nurses were amazing, however they should keep the voice down as they were always chit chatting, laughing and be loud while there are people who just need to rest after procedures like mine.
The only good point is that the doctors and nurses looked after me amazingly, I cannot thank Dr Loy and nurse Theo enough.

BMI Southend Hospital - the main Eye Consultant is the rudest, most arrogant person imaginable: at the outset he doesn't greet you, doesn't even look at you when speaking, I was warned that he was mercenary, only interested in how much money he can make from patients; with a terrible manner and incredible rudeness. I had a terrible experience (with the same consultant) with very painful cataract surgery late last year, which post-op, left me me with hazy vision in the left eye. Recently, I was referred by Specsavers for corrective Laser surgery for this and so attended BMI. The same Consultant said "I don't know why you're here! They (Specsavers) shouldn't have referred you for the operation! - your sight isn't bad enough"! Given that he conducted the op. last year (I reminded him) I thought it arrogant & beyond belief i.e. he did the very painful Op. that caused my Left eye hazy vision. Don't go near BMI; if you value your health more than they do!

Awful.
Twice now I have used the BMI Meriden hospital and twice have been badly let down.
They simply do not care about anything but the money.
I will stick with NHS in future.
Firstly I have been left with nightmares and anxiety from a surgery that was unsuccsessful, extremely traumatic and painful and secondly I have now been trying to get a scan sorted that I was told was 'Urgent' since 11th March...my insurance policy ran out before the appointment could be taken as I had to cancel due to covid...I was the told they would sort it so I could go via NHS , but this has not been done and the consultant is now away on holiday for 2 weeks with no way of me getting this sorted.
Feeling terrified and helpless and they just dont care .
How would they like to be waiting over 7 weeks fearing they may have cancer.

I had a gastric sleeve in August 2021 at BMI London. I’m very disappointed that the post op service has been shocking! The schedule of post op appointments has not been adhered to , I have had to contact them to get them. I was supposed to have 6m post op blood test which I wasn’t aware of. No one contacted me to arrange. When I was advised I contacted them and they are now refusing to do this test even though it was paid for as part of the package. They haven’t even had the courtesy to respond to my emails. When paying privately you would expect a better service !!!!!

Very unlike my previous visit my experience this time at Goring Hall was not as good. I was admitted privately to an extremely noisy room near the nurses workstation which I actually found quite stressful. The noise was loud and constant all day long. I was in a lot of pain and sometimes there was quite a wait for painkiller, particularly on my last night 1hr and 20m. At one point I was found crying with pain on my room to which the sister said "why did you not ask for painkiller". I did ask but apparently she never got the message. The ice machine for my knee was frequently out of ice and there were long waits. I had an allowance of 5 days from my provided but was told I had to leave after 3. The physio on my first day seemed utterly pre-occupied with other patients and quite offish. The second physio very matter of fact I should have a 90 degree bend and very blunt that I was not achieving it. However, the physio on my last day was much kinder. I then find out after coming home and attending physio at the hospital that a 90 degree bend before leaving the hospital is rare and by far not the norm. They were later advised my husband had been admitted to hospital and I was therefore home on my own yet nobody bothered to check progress which amazed me. I was sent home with insufficient painkiller and taxis were sent to my home with medication. All in all, compared to my previous arthroscopy, I found the experience of my partial knee replacement and stay very stressful and just not what one pays private medical cover for. Catering staff however were very kind and the food was good. Rooms were very clean. Mr Shah was his usual kind, sincere and friendly self which was a great comfort to me.

After recently experiencing two hip replacements at BMI Coventry I can honestly say that that I had five star treatment on both occasions. Everyone I encountered treated me, and each other, with the utmost respect and I nothing was ever too much trouble. An amazing, caring service throughout my stay and full information provided to me before entering, during my stay and on exiting the hospital.

I had my 2nd cataract eye surgery on Thursday 10th March at The Winterborne Hospital, Dorchester and want to express, once again, my grateful thanks to Mr Goverdhan and his team.
From signing in at Reception to being discharged, my care was faultless. Mr Goverdhan took time to talk to me before, during and after the procedure. He is a brilliant surgeon and I feel very fortunate that he performed my surgery. The nursing staff were so kind, efficient and caring, too.
Charlene, in Theatre, was brilliant, with a welcomed cheerfulness and good sense of humour. Kirstie, too, was efficient, kind and caring.
Mr Goverdhan has enabled me to see a bright new world of colour and detail.
Thank you so much. It is so appreciated.
