Alex was super helpful with getting the bike set up and explaining how everything worked with suspension adjustment, the motor etc. being my 1st EMTB bike. Would definitely come back here again.

Great bike, not great service
Great bike, not great service. Took a lot of chasing to confirm the bike had arrived and was ready for a test ride. After the test ride I waited whilst the mechanic fitted the mudguards, only to discover they had the wrong mudguards (and were fitted poorly). After re-ordering the correct mudguards, arranging to get them fitted at a convenient time was difficult, so I ended up fitting them myself.
It’s a shame - the staff are very friendly and knowledgable, but when spending over £1,500, I’d expect a bit more “joined up” customer service.

Absolutely seamless transaction from enquiring about the Cycle2Work scheme through to delivery! Turnaround time from ordering to delivery was about a week which is outstanding in my books! Cannot recommend enough! Thanks guys!

Horrific customer service & awaiting £2k order a month later
Horrific customer service. I have been waiting for my bike and accessories for over a month. I have contacted the company four times about this and they have promised to send me my bike two weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived. I'm actually in shock as to how back this customer service is. You feel like your requests are going nowhere. I feel like I've been scammed for significant sum of money. I would reconsider using this retailer vs other privders.

My New Black Beauty
I have recently got into the world of Road Bikes, studied for what I wanted. Finally landed on a bike, made the purchase from Balfe’s. Everyone was really helpful and…
Everyone was really helpful and knowledgeable, from first phone call to test drive and then collection. I was unsure about size, setup and how it worked with cycle to work scheme. I initially phoned the Hackney branch which is closer to me, but received little information or help, but when I rang the Islington branch I received lots of information.

Happy with Balfe’s customer support and delivery service
I ordered my bike using a Green Commute Voucher. Initially I was trying to place the order on my own but there were some issues with claiming the voucher so a member of Balfe’s staff helped me place the order. Once that was done I got notified in a timely manner about the delivery. The bike arrived ready for cycling. Happy with their services!
