I had put off renewing my car insurance…
I had put off renewing my car insurance because I thought it would be complicated, difficult and time-consuming. And probably no cheaper than my renewal quote. I received a personised email from MoneySupermarket offering to get me some quotes and decided to explore. Autonet's quote was two hundred pounds cheaper than my renewal quote from Darwin, with the same features. It was simple to answer the guided questions with helpful tips offered where needed for assistance. The only downside was that the quote kept being revised while I was reviewing and editing one of my answers. I suggest doing this fast once you have the price to prevent this from happening. Very happy with my car insurance.

Hard to cancel at end of the policy year…
I was with Autonet for 12-months - at renewal they wanted 20% more for the policy in spite of there being a further year of no claims. I tried to cancel online but there is no way to take that action - the website says to use the chat bot - this gathers all of your information and then works out you need to speak to a human. Then the chat just stopped… There is no email address on the site to cancel. In the end, I had to email their complaints team to get a resolution. Why not just make it easy to cancel…. Moves to Admiral for a much better price, but thoroughly wound up by the exit process.
