After only 5 months of owning and brand new $2k+ dishwasher, it has a major failure and getting F54 failure. We have been going through loops hole for over a month with no repair date. When the dish... See more

Didn’t even get our oven
Didn’t even get our oven, they just kept cancelling our delivery, sometimes without even telling us. We had to keep chasing every time with no reason for delays. Had to give up after a month. Delivery was by ASKO, not a separate company, so there is clearly something not working with this company.
ASKO dishwasher saga (just out of…
ASKO dishwasher saga (just out of warranty)…
ASKO dishwasher (just out of warranty) broke down in April 2023. Initial agent recommended by ASKO claimed it was insect damage which was incorrect. After many phone calls to ASKO they sent another repairer at their cost. I was informed that dishwasher has a few different problems including a leak and rust so would need to be taken to their workshop for a full diagnosis and they sent a report to ASKO. No response from ASKO after a week and after the last phone call I decided to report them to the ACCC. They are deplorable and hard to deal with. This was not the case 15 years ago when they were still manufacturing in Sweden. The whole issue has taken nearly 3 months without a result and clearly they are not interested in their customer base. An expensive high end dishwasher should last longer than 3 years. I will never again buy any ASKO products. Would not recommend this company to anyone and am not surprised by others poor experience.

Lost between ASKO and GoodGuys Non-existing Customer Service
I bought a brand new cooktop from Asko at the GoodGuys. Who knew what an Odyssey that would become because the product has a clear design fault!
The two front burners of my four burner cooktop are unusable as the front-cover and the knobs are heating up when the front burners are used.
- Called the GoodGuys who told me had nothing to do with them as they were only selling on behalf of ASKO;
- called ASKO who informed me it that it would take them a MONTH to send someone out to investigate. I did of course consider that not acceptable so they sent out a subcontractor who confirmed that it was a design flaw.
Now I have received confirmation that I will get my money back and they will get in touch with me within 3-5 business days. A month later, several texts from me and emails and I am still waiting for them to organise a de-install and getting my money back - and of course get a new cooktop that I can use!

I have had an Asko front load washing machine for 16 years and has been good until now, however it has programming issues and do not Kano whether to repair or replace
"I purchased an Asko dishwasher based…
"I purchased an Asko dishwasher based on The Good Guys' recommendation, but it turned out to be faulty. When I contacted The Good Guys about the issue, they were unable to help me and simply referred me to Asko customer service. Asko sent a technician to repair the dishwasher, but I was not satisfied with the solution as I had purchased a brand-new machine and did not want it to be disassembled and have units replaced. Additionally, Asko told me that if I wanted to return the dishwasher for a refund, I would lose 20% of my money, even though I had never used the machine. This is unacceptable, and I cannot recommend either The Good Guys or Asko based on my experience."
WHERE IS MY REFUND ASKO
Purchased new dishwasher in january 2023, stopped halfway through cycle 4 weeks later, waited 10 days for repair, stopped again 3 weeks later, told them I wanted refund for unreliable machine, same fault again. Eventually after many phone calls they picked it up, but keep calling me to arrange delivery. Still no refund at end of April. Terrible customer service. DO NOT BUY.
Not happy at all
We bought a washing machine and dryer. There are already lints and one hair in the door of the dryer so we complained about it to customer service because the dryer doesn't look brand new. We paid more than AUS$5000 for both washing machine and dryer, off course we wanted brand new. Now it has been three weeks but this problem has not been solved yet. Customer service of this company is not reliable at all. Name were Paul and Jack and I suspect if they are even existing. Their name are too common.
Diabolical Customer Service
Purchased dishwasher via the good guys - prompt delivery within 72 hours - however dishwasher arrived damaged - delivery driver couldn’t return without paperwork from Asko - called Asko - spoke with Lillian who text me a claim form - was unwilling to help guide me on the process - told me to complete claim form and wait to hear from Asko and promptly hung up on me as I was asking for guidance. Delivery driver left and I was left with a damaged dishwasher sitting in my kitchen. Called back to Asko and spoke with Raj - while lovely to deal with I was still chasing Asko for days and in the end I asked for a refund and the dishwasher to be collected. In the end it was Chloe who sorted collection for me. In fact on one occasion I got Lillian again and her favourite thing to do seems to be hang up on customers after telling them to wait to here from Asko instead of actually helping them. However when the collection day came 7 days later it was a technician for installation that came but he understood my frustration and took the dishwasher back. Should be simple at this stage to return a dishwasher and get a refund but not at all. Multiple calls to and fro - Raj again escalating to accounts, getting put through by someone to accounts and left a voicemail that is still unanswered, promised calls from Raj that never came to update me. Spoke with Steven who promised to follow up and call me back but at this stage I didn’t believe him. True to his word he did call me back to update me. In the end I went back to the Good Guys where I purchased the dishwasher through and within 24 hours I had action as they went to there asko rep. 1 star is to good for Asko - would be Zero stars if it was an option. 12 days after returning it I finally got a refund.
Asko asked me to submit a review In which I submitted the above - surprie surprise I got a response saying it was not acceptable for their website

Rubbish product
Rubbish product, and Rubbish service.
I have purchased all my appliance from asko. I'm a licensed Electrician, I'm allowed to install appliance and remove. My rangehood was running rough and vibrating. I dismantled the rangehood from the kitchen cupboard to see if yhere is anything in the duct. As I removed the duct from the ranghood I see 3 blades broken from the fan. I called asko to book in a service as it is stil under warranty. I got a response from there rubbish technician that because I dismantled the rangehood that it voids warranty. I called asko and explained to them that the rangehood was not opened apart. The same way you supply it and expect an electrician to install it the same way I removed it as I am licensed to. Yhey said they will need to investigate so I asked number of times to speak to the manager and I got a response that it's in there policy that they can not transfer me to a manager. I explained to him that his violating my rights to speak to a supervisor he responded by saying I'm sorry I can't help you making me feel like I can't do nothing about it. This person's name is JACK. I'm going to fair trading with this and never again will I purchase from asko. Very poor service for a very expensive product.
Shocking company to deal with!
Absolutely shocking company to deal with & more importantly the worst dishwasher I have ever had. A couple of weeks old and everything is coming out with rust on it. Apparently it is a chemical reaction which is not covered under warranty. I am now hand washing. Should have stuck with Miele, never had any issues.
DEPLORABLE
Shoddy products that are not worth their premium price, and the most deplorable customer service out of any company I’ve ever dealt with. Don’t waste your money on this scam brand and go with literally any other appliance company instead. I’ve reported them to the ACCC.
Over priced heap of Junk
Asko do not make quality products
I purchased my Asko washing machine 5 years ago. Within the first year, Asko had to replace the control panel under warranty. Now the control panel is not working again and the pump has failed. As my husband and I live alone, it does not get a lot of use. I have been quoted half the cost of a new machine to repair, so will be replacing my washing machine, but NOT WITH an ASKO. They are lemons and their customer service is not easy to deal with. The gentleman was not interested in helping me at all. This machine was highly recommended by sales staff at several outlets when I purchased it. The price was top dollar but the product turned out to be bottom shelf. For the price paid, this machine should have lasted more than 5 years.
Appalling service re washing machine machine repairs
Our washing machine became unreliable in mid October 2022 & we contacted ASKO immediately, it’s now the first week of January 2023 and heading into the second week of January and we still do not have the parts, our calls returned, the promised emails or text messages with dispatch dates or a date for repair. ASKO constantly talk in circles and advise the job is progressing when it clearly it is not we are told parts need to be ordered and we are then told 50 are in stock (by a different person) - do not buy this brand as the follow up support and care (factor) is zilch!!! Having said that Michael in spare parts is of some use even though he too gave me the runaround he at least sounded helpful but he too has not delivered his promises
Do not buy
We bought an Asko washing machine 6 years ago. It was an expensive one, not cheap. Apparently it should have lasted 10 - 15 years. It has already broken down 3 times and we've had to pay for new parts and repair fees. This time we have been a month without a washing machine and they can't even give us an eta on when it will be fixed. I have called asking for an eta 3 times and they keep saying they will get back to me. Waste of money - Do not buy!!
Bought an Asko drier in Jan 22 and by…
Bought an Asko drier in Jan 22 and by April had used it twice. When I went to use it for the 3rd time the drum had stopped spinning. Rang Asko and 5 weeks later a repair man came to look at it, parts were needed and they took the drier into their work shop. 9 weeks later I finally hot the drier back, used it once and drumb ceased up again. I have now been 2 months whilst they "escalate" my complaint as I asked for a new one. Finally they agreed to send me a new drier but refused to give me a further 12 month warranty... after all I have spent most of this year waiting on them to give some customer service! Needless to say I refused and requested they refund my money in full, which they finally agreed to but first they have to collect the drier and yes 3 weeks later its still waiting for collection. I can honestly say their customer service is appalling and I will never buy an Asko anything again. Everyone please be aware 🙏 of how you will be treated should something go wrong.
Dreadful service
Dreadful service. Do not buy asko. After 6 weeks still waiting on parts for microwave combi which failed after 6 years. Incredibly expensive to repair also.
Main oven failed in the interim. Booked service twice and nobody showed. Two hours after end of scheduled time window, on third call, told us parts had not come so he wasn't appearing.
Customer service people are rude saying there is nothing they can do. Just wait.
I asked for leave from work to wait for…
I asked for leave from work to wait for the delivery at home, but I received two messages from the delivery driver at the same time. The first message said it would arrive in one minute, and the second message said no one was at home and the delivery should be rescheduled. Are you kidding me? Called customer service but nothing they can do. Definitely get a refund and buy another brand.
ASKO - Won't Honour Parts Warranty - Rubbish Product & Service
To be fair, my dishwasher is out of warranty. I have had the Asko D5546F1 dishwasher for 6 years and in that time, I have had to replace 3 motherboards. The first under warranty, the next two I have paid for. Another mother board has failed within 6 months of being installed. I was told by the technician that board has a 6-month part warranty but would have to approach Asko myself. I approached Asko to have them replace the board under a failed parts warranty and as the dishwasher is older, they will not honour the parts warranty. Asko the product is poor as it breaks down at least once every 18 months. I have spent in excess of $1,200 in parts in labour in the last 12 months. Asko service simply do not care about the product, the warranty and certainly do not give a rats-bum about the consumer.
The final email I received is copy & paste below:
"Hello Thomas.
Thank you for your email.
I regret to inform you that the management has declined your request for a free part due to appliance being well out of warranty.
Please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience, however, we are unable to assist you on this matter.
Kind Regards
Service Desk Agent
2 year old Asko dishwasher stuck on preheating
2 year old Asko dishwasher stuck on preheating mode. Just out of warranty.
Was told the unit requires a new board but I asked how an apparent premium product that cost $2000.00 can only last two years. Surely if you are paying a premium ASKO would come to the party and assist. Would not purchase another ASKO product in a rush. There is no avenue to even make a complaint to them about this.
There was also a language barrier with the call center so when the technician rocked up he had an eftpos machine in his pocket for the call out and I asked why do we need that.
