NEFF CASHBACK OFFER NIGHTMARE
NEFF CASHBACK OFFER.
What seemed like a great incentive to purchase all electrical items for our new kitchen from NEFF.
So far we have been in a never ending trail of glitches on our part of course. We have sent in up to now 5 different proff on everything . NEVER being successful .The as of today are asking for the exact same codes etc as we stated with. The new excuse is names on order do not match. The kitchen fitter ordered the kitchen from Howdens . But we paid for it . I have even rung NEFF CASH BACK .they answer the phone ???? But wait til you see how much you are charged for the call. ITS NOT FREE. . So…………DON,T BE FOOLED. The offer seemed to good to be true ,SO FAR IT IS…
Terrible
Bought a house with Neff appliances.
Terrible....
Endless issues, nothing is working...
These appliances looks fancy but at the end of the day, they not cook anything.
Avoid, avoid, avoid!
Poor build quality - Neff gas hob - 5 burner
I bought a Neff gas hob - 5 burner back in May 2025. The build quality is very poor. The stainless steel part already has lots of scratches. The burner stands - colour is fading away. I brought this to Neff's attention couple of times however to no avail. They simply are not interested in what the customer has to say! Extremely disappointed in the product and will never recommend it to anyone. A 8 month old product looks like a 5 year old product!
Terrible product
Neff has really gone down hill. Bought an induction cooker and a oven a few years ago. The cooker is struggling to register the button now. I have to press like 20 times to change the heat level. The app for their appliance is totally useless. You cant control or update the appliances. It's absolutely pointless to have the app. Definitely avoid their products from now on.
Very very disappointed with Neff…
Very very disappointed with Neff Cashback. Clearly a scam with magnet. Absolute nightmare trying to sort out and still nothing. Please don’t expect anything from neff or magnet as this Cashback is just scam to make you buy neff appliances. Very disappointing!
Faults with 4 out of the 5 NEFF appliances
When we had our kitchen redesigned and fitted 4 years ago we went for NEFF appliances throughout, but were forced to have an AEG steam oven and coffee machine due to lack of availability of these appliances in the NEFF range. We wish now we had gone with AEG throughout. The first issue we had was with the main oven fan that started to make a strange noise and was eventually replaced under warranty. Then the vacuum drawer pump went and again was replaced under warranty. The glass hob was replaced after it cracked, and now the vacuum pump has gone again, two years after being replaced and is outside of warranty! The switch on the extractor fan is also faulty and difficult to turn on or off, being looked at during engineer visit next week to replace the second vacuum pump. We’ve also had an engineer out to look at the microwave oven as it was sparking.
If I was redesigning a kitchen in future. I’d go with AEG, we’ve had zero problems with either of the two appliances we have from them.
20 Days Without a Kitchen - NEFF Service Failure
I purchased NEFF appliances totaling $16,500 for a new kitchen. Since 29 October, NEFF has:
Supplied the wrong cooktop (admitted fault but still not delivered replacement).
Supplied incorrect oven parts despite clear documentation and showroom verification.
Delivered a rangehood that appears incomplete and is still “under review” after 20 days.
We’ve been cooking outside on a BBQ while my wife undergoes chemotherapy. NEFF’s customer service has been appalling: endless delays, vague timelines, and zero urgency.
Their website claims:
“A BRAND YOU CAN TRUST”
“Our customers expect the best and that’s exactly what we deliver.”
Reality: 20 days of stress and inconvenience, no resolution, and no compensation offered.
I have now filed complaints with the Commerce Commission and Disputes Tribunal. If you’re considering NEFF, think twice.
Never buy a Neff dishwasher
I bought a Neff dishwasher on the 20th September. Since then two engineers have been out and we are now waiting for a part from a third engineer on 20th November. Two months with a brand new dishwasher that we are unable to use.
Bewarned.. I contacted the Neff customer service and was put through to Charlene ext 2700. You would not believe what a poor telephone manner she had for somebody representing Neff. Extremely rude.
Neff is NAFF for defrosting pre-cooked…
Neff is NAFF for defrosting pre-cooked meals!
2 weeks ago I purchased their Model-HLAWD53N0B12 microwave oven. Since then, we have struggled with ‘Defrosting/ De-icing, ready or pre-cooked meals. Their instructions are so complex! I'm struggling to believe Neff have manufactured SUCH AN UNFRIENDLY microwave for sale.
Moreover when it comes to simply increasing the temperature to normal without cooking this risks over, or undercooking food.
All the previous microwave ovens we had normally has intermittent defrosting. This heat being applied applied roughly every 30 seconds. Simply requiing the application of additional time as needed.
This is NOT a labour saving device This product IS LABOUR INTENSIVE! It requires the user to heat for a few seconds then check the food being defrosted; this is to ensure that food is NOT (OVER) COOKED OR COOKED ON THE INSIDE whilst the external parts of a meal are still frozen!
According to their Neff manual their instructions are limited to defrosting raw food by continuous heat! The methods they advise are unfriendly; before attempting to defrost one must weigh the meat, poultry, fish etc then study the instruction chart in the manual to determine how much the continuous heat will be applied, also then select one of two heat settings – too complex! I’m so disappointed in Neff!
This will be the last of their appliances I shall ever purchase! When my concerns were raised with their Customer Services, I was told that one should go to their website to study & familiarise oneself with their range before purchasing!
So it appears you need educating before buying - A NAFF Neff!
The NEFF microwave irritation
TheNEFF microwave oven is possibly the most annoying machine on the market. When it's done it emits a irritating beep for hours and hours. Five beeps would do!
To reheat a cup of coffee, you need to put a spoon in cup to stop it exploding: press a button to open door, put it in, press a button for the grade of power, press a button for length of time, press a button to start. Sigh. I know microwaves where you simply open the door, put it in, turn to dial for time, or a button for time of 30 secs. Simple.
Poor quality products. Poor quality service
Wish I’d read these reviews before spending so much money on 2 ovens form Neff. Combi microwave broken down twice and now main steam oven broken down twice. Engineers take ages to book and are not very good (replace parts but do not fix the problem). We are closing in on the 2 year warranty deadline and reckon they will both be in the bin soon after as I will not pay their rates to fix them out of warranty. Terrible product. Terrible service.
Neff extractor hood exploded - still charge for engineer callout
Our Neff extractor hood glass panel spontaneously exploded this afternoon. It was not in use at the time. This sent glass flying across at high speed all over the kitchen, some of it reaching the other side of the kitchen where I was stood. Thankfully I was not using the hob at the time, as I would have had a face full of glass. It is fortunate that I was wearing glasses and long sleeves because it could have caused life-changing injuries.
Spoke to someone from the Neff customer service team (who was a very nice chap, but unfortunately bound by his managers recommendations) about what can only be a serious manufacturing issue with this extractor hood. I was surprised to hear that despite this serious incident, we would incur a call out charge of £109 for an engineer to determine the cause of the issue.
I have photos of the state of the kitchen after the glass exploded, but sadly am unable to attach them to this review.
I am posting this review to warn anyone to take care with the Neff extractor hood product (E) number D95IMT1N0B/03. This could have blinded me.
Neff customer service are rather poor
Neff customer service are rather poor. Dishwasher fault & repair booked via domestic and general. The Neff woman was bureaucratic, obtuse & hostile. I put her on hold to discuss something and she asked why. Officious and unfriendly. I don't recognise their claims of great service.
If I could give less than 1 star
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Microwave completely melted 2 microwave safe dishes in the space of a few minutes. No easy way to complain online either. Avoid
NEFF or NAFF? Can they get any lower than 1 star
Can you get any lower than 1 star? We got all NEFF (‘top of the range’) products installed in a new kitchen fit out from Howdens, a few years ago. Hob, oven, microwave and fridge/freezer (FF). Everything works but all have little problems, the FF is the worst (model KI5862SE0G/02). From the start, every 4 weeks or so, it develops a thick buildup of ice, like a column, that grows from the bottom shelf to the top shelf, up the left hand rear wall and quickly bridges the small gap between the wall and shelf so starts to engulf anything at the back of the shelf. We reported this and a very helpful engineer came out and diagnosed it as a fault (uneven distribution of the cooling fluids/gases-I don’t accurately remember) and placed an order for the parts. When a different second engineer came out, he seemed to suggest it was all resolved without even entering our house, as they muddled up the appointment and turned up when only my 12 year old daughter was in, which I was told by customer services, their company procedures would prevent their engineer from entering the property when only a minor is in. So he didn’t come in to fix it but somehow diagnosed it as fixed (a Jedi?) and the case was closed. NAFF did apologise for this mix up and sent a third engineer who was very nice but showed me a copy of an email that had recently been circulated to all the engineers that identified this issue but stated that it was normal for the FFs, so doesn’t need any fixing. I wasn’t quite sure if he agreed or not, but it was very disappointing, especially when I was still expecting it to be fixed. They also advised making sure no products on our shelves touched the back wall, which is useless when the shelves are designed with no significant lip and the ice build up easily bridges the tiny gap. Follow up emails to their customer services were either ignored or occasionally given a blanket response of ‘take it up with Howdens’. It’s not our responsibility. Very poor. So our monthly job is to to empty the shelves, cut the frozen product out of the middle shelf and hack the 4-5cm thick ice column out (or turn the fridge off for a few hours but this only slows it down. I just tried buying a spare part on their site as the sliding front panel to their fragile top shelf broke recently and due again to no significant lip on this shelf, anything on the shelf, slides off (and onto the floor) when you open or close it. Their spare parts selector is useless on an iOS device doesn’t list parts that are shown numbered on some drawings (just happens to be the part I want). Not totally unexpected. Avoid NEFF products until they improve both the design and quality of their products and their customer service, would be my advice
Poor build Quality awful Customer Service
I have Neff appliances in the UK and although I had teething problems I would have given them 4 stars
In Cyprus it couldn't be more different I bought a built in microwave which in 6 months has suffered two faults The total rubbish that currently runs in their advertising campaign that they are built to last therefore the selling price is higher for better equipment is I now find totally flawed.
If they made up for it with high service levels then it would to some degree make up for the poor build quality. it took a month to repair the turntable motor and when asked for en extended warrantee because of the issues experience we were refused. We are building a new home in the UK Neff products will not be included in our plans
Extremely dangerous appliance
Our brand new Neff ovens glass door exploded the first time we used it. Which damaged our brand new floor with the hot glass fragments. It’s a miracle no one got injured. After being sold an extremely dangerous appliance. The after care service we have received is even worse. We’ve had multiple engineers come out, some said the appliance needed replacing. After no communication for a week. We were then told the appliance would be repaired. Has to wait 2 weeks for the next available appointment. That engineer arrived with the wrong parts. Another service call was arranged. After waiting in call day this engineer didn’t turn up as the parts hadn’t been delivered. No communication from Neff to say they wasn’t going to turn up until we had to call them. We are now into week 8 with no oven, and have been told the next appointment won’t be till another two weeks. They have refused to replace the oven and say they only offer a repair service. If I could rate zero stars I would. Absolutely appalling service.
Purchased 6 Neff appliances
Purchased 6 Neff appliances and paid in full at point of order - north of €8k. I bought these on the promotion for cash back in way of One4All gift cards for each appliance. I was told once the appliances were paid for that I had met the conditions and once the appliances were delivered I could use my serial numbers to register for the cash back vouchers.
Long story short, my appliances were delivered when the building was ready and Neff would not honour what was paid for as apparently they had to be registered in a certain time frame after paying. Something that was not relayed at point of sale and the retailer knew that the building had just commenced and they wouldn’t be delivered for some time.
I spoke to Neff Ireland who were less than accommodating.
A very dissatisfying experience from Neff. I just hope that I have no issues with my appliances under warranty as their service nowhere near backs them up.
A high end expensive brand that lacks any form of customer service is how I would describe them.
I am sorry I went with their products. As the retailer told me, you’re buying a name. There’s just as good on the market for a lot less.
Naff Neff
Needed a replacement for a little used warming drawer- hugely expensive to replace- over £600. The replacement did not work, needs a £400 control panel.
Will never buy Neff/Siemens/Bosch products again.
