I have been a customer for years and have always experienced great service from them. On a recent order Raj was most helpful in sourcing a difficult to acquire component.

Bought some metal gear servos. When they arrived outer pack was marked metal gear however servos themselves were marked plastic.
Sent several emails to their stated CS email with photos. Nothing but an auto acknowledgment, first email sent 3 weeks ago. Given up wasting my time as the order was relatively low value.

Thanks for the reply but I received auto responses from your mail system so my emails did arrive with you.

Order a Goosky RS4 from at models, they went above and beyond to get it yo me within a few days.

Ordered from this store and paid £8 for delivery, didn’t get a tracking number so after two weeks sent and email and they sent one out, but it was the wrong fuel, now asking me to pay out of my pocket to send it back!

I placed a fully paid pre-order for an RC item well in advance of the weekend. I even took a few days off to enjoy the product, assuming that everything would go smoothly.

Before the weekend, I contacted the store to double-check that my item would be available for in-store pickup as agreed. I was told everything was in order.

Upon arrival, I was told:
“Sorry, we don’t have it here. You can come back in 4 days.”

Seriously?

Tim – your so-called "responsible manager" – was aware of the situation, yet failed to ensure basic follow-through on a fully paid order.

Out of frustration, I immediately canceled the order on the spot. Then came the second surprise – my refund didn’t come immediately. It arrived 30 days later.

According to Raj, your "top manager," this delay was supposedly acceptable and “not against the law.” I strongly disagree – and so does my solicitor.

My statement of claim is ready and will be filed shortly. I was merely waiting for the refund to be processed to avoid further complications.

Summary:
You took full payment for a product you did not have in store.

You failed to notify me before I made a wasted trip.

You delayed my refund for 30 days.

You showed zero accountability.

This isn’t just poor service – it’s completely unacceptable. You’ve not only wasted my time and money, but also blatantly disregarded basic consumer rights.

Avoid at all cost! Worst experience and customer service I’ve ever experienced. Purchased a plane I’d been wanting to buy since it was released, selected the option for a local collection point. The item was sent back after they refused the delivery. Then I was charged another £25 for a redelivery. The item arrived with severe damage on every panel. It had clearly been sold before as the packaging had been opened and the inner box had puncture marks circled in pen so they were aware of the damage. Sent pictures and video within 2 hrs of receiving it showing all the damage, then spent the next week attempting to get the item returned but just kept getting ignored, faced nothing but poor communication from AT Models. After sending the item back in the same condition it arrived they refused to give me my money back saying the item was damaged. I’ve never encountered a business that treats customers this way. The way they handled this from the beginning is appalling. I understand things can get damaged in transit but to expect the customer to pay several hundred pounds for receiving a heavily damaged item is just crazy. Luckily I documented the entire process for a build video from receiving the item, unpacking and inspecting to repackaging and returning it. They tried stealing my money after getting the plane back and lied at every opportunity. Absolutely SHOCKING business ethics

They are arrogant and an absolute disgrace. I sent them a well used and life expired brushless motor which they had offered to match up. However as they did not have one I asked them to return it if I paid return postage as I wanted the motor mount. They fobbed me off for several weeks saying they had LOST it and semt me 7 quid as compo.
It took me 3 hours to fabricate another.

Paid for 24hr delivery yet they didn't post for 48hrs so don't understand why they offer the 24hr I guess just to make more money

From the moment you walk in, the friendly staff make you feel welcome, and their customer service is truly top-notch. With a great variety of products to choose from, I highly recommend checking this place out!

Absolutely shocking customer service prey you don’t have to reach out to them with a delivery issue.

I was miss an item from a damaged box that was delivered to my house, as a paying customer I reached out to the customer service showing them how I received my box and that I was missing one item. They then sent me a photo from the delivery company showing the wrong side of the box so you couldn’t see the large hole in the box.

I was basically called a thief and a liar and they wouldn’t do nothing to help me.

My advice would be to stay clear as the side with the very trustworthy delivery company’s leaving you not a let to stand on.

Purchased an arrma fury 223s rc car from align trex and it turned up within 2 days and was an absolute steal of a price compared to the other model shops online. I called to ask a couple of questions and the phone was answered quickly and I was helped out by a lovely chap within minutes. Very polite and nice chap who I spoke to.

Whether it be on eBay or via their website Raj and his team have proved to be incredibly disappointing.

Orders do not go out on time, delays are not communicated to you.

One item arrived opened.

Another order had them ram an RC body and its decals into a box far too small and ruin the decals in the process. They offered a £3 partial refund, not comprehending that the decals were no longer usable, nor window masks, you lose all sense of scale without.

Assured my order would ship with my batteries, it did not. My charger didn't get shipped.

Repeated missed ETAs on stock, no communication to this effect.

Website is incredibly flaky, overwrites your postcode with theirs on completed orders, requiring you to call them etc as they aren't great when it comes to replying to emails.

Very quick to blame his team.

Really not sure how they have so many positive transactions whereas mine have all been stress, anxiety and hassle.

I won't be buying from this guy again, no class, no style, no business sense, really thoughtless packing and such little effort to put things right.

It wasn’t just one body, it was a catalog of problems, some via eBay and some direct.

Placed an order at 3pm and it was deliverd the next day at 12.30 pm, Great service and great prices.

Good stock, knowledgeable, friendly staff, very helpful
