Card Refusal

Thought it looked too good to be true, selling Waterstones stock at low prices, then refused my totally legit. card twice. Has to be a scam.

Same as eveyone else

Same as eveyone else, saw my next book club read for a cheap price and three attempts at adding card details before I got payment error 15005 . Avoid like the plague!

Scam city

Scam.

Quite a good one to be fair to them, but shame on Google for allowing the adwords campaign unchecked. I've reported it.

Cancelled cards, hopefully the new ones arrive soon, will have to update Google wallet, PayPal, amazon....
Reported site, maybe they will disappear and save others the problem

Scam

Scam, all three cards cancelled at payments. I've cancelled with banks straight away but on my credit card I can see pending transaction of£1700!! They have managed to succeed but thank God it's a credit card have to call to dispute. Can't believe the authorities cannot stop the scam

Scam company

Scam company. Interesting that the fake reviews on their website says speedy postage to Australia but the website says UK postage only. Too many things don’t add up. I put two card details in. On the second, it accepted my order. It didn’t sit right so I called the bank to cancel the cards.

Very likely scam

My experience was the same as everyone below. Have cancelled card. The product descriptions/prices were exactly the same as on other websites so I'd searched something up when out of stock elsewhere. Very convincing. These review websites are so useful (if only I'd remembered that a few hours ago)

Phishing scam

As others have reported, slick looking website disguised as a phishing scam, to harvest your card details, entered 3 of my cards before alarm bells, all cancelled with the respective banks, unlikely so replacements this side of Xmas, just great!
I hope people check the reviews before being suckered in by these scammers.

Scam

Will be a scam company/card fraud. Very cheap books too cheap to be true it turns out. Tried to pay with card 3 times and rejected everytime so likely they are collecting card details.

Scammer

Their website looks legit, but the checkout page takes your card details, then produces a 'payment error' message. There's nothing showing on my bank account yet, but I've cancelled the card just in case.

All the reviews on here say the same thing, and I've found a Reddit thread full of people with exactly the same experience as mine.

Another company on here, Novum Books, has a whole series of negative reviews along similar lines, with most reviewers concluding the company is a scam one set up to collect bank details. Interestingly, Novum's address is the same as Worthing Books. Says it all really.

At the time of writing, Worthing Books has only negative 1-star reviews, yet their Trustpilot rating is 2. How?
