Absolutely terrible service. Engineers have missed repeated appointments despite confirming both via text and phone that they would attend. When they *have* come it’s been on the wrong day. The one appointment we had consisted of the engineer refusing to lift boards, advising against poison or traps, advising that it wasn’t worth investigating drains and basically saying once you have rats or mice you can’t get rid of them. A complete waste of time. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Excellent service. The operative, Chelsi, was very professional, very thorough, spent a long time examining the whole house including loft, garden and even the hard to get to space under the house. Kept us well informed throughout and was very reassuring.

The admin side of Vergo Pest Management was extremely frustrating. I struggled to get accurate information about visit and call times, with multiple errors along the way, which caused unnecessary stress.
That said, Elliot Hollyoak attended the property and carried out a thorough and professional inspection. He clearly knew his role, took the time to explain everything, and ensured we got the result we needed.
Credit to the staff on the ground — Elliot went above and beyond and genuinely turned the experience around. Unfortunately, the admin issues let the overall service down.

I had a problem with squirells in my loft in october, rang Mission and Kathy got Dan out the next day, after 2 months and 2 traps and a camera we caught one, had a hole blocked up in my facia board and so far so good, Dan was very nice, very easy to talk to and reassuring that everything would be alright in the end, would not hesitate at recomending this company, great work guys

The two gentlemen Dodge and Bill were very lovely and courteous. They were very motivated to help us, they had a great attention to detail and spent hours making sure everything was perfect for us. This has genuinely been the worst experience I have ever had with a company and I don’t say that lightly. While the technicians themselves were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous, the customer service and administrative side of the business have been an absolute nightmare to deal with.
We waited well over a month for our final visit, and during that time we were repeatedly told that “someone will be coming on [specific date],” only for no one to show up, not once, but multiple times. Each time we called to follow up, we were informed that the appointment had been “rescheduled,” yet no one ever contacted us to let us know. This cycle of misinformation and lack of communication went on for over a month, leaving us completely frustrated and without any clear answers.
I made several requests to speak directly with a manager in hopes of resolving the issue, but every time I was assured that “someone will call you back.” Not once did that actually happen. It’s extremely disappointing to be promised follow-up after follow-up and never receive a single call.
This wasn’t just a one-time issue, we had almost the exact same problem during our very first appointment with this company. It’s become clear that this isn’t an isolated case of bad luck, but a pattern of poor communication and disorganisation within their customer service department.
To make matters worse, at one point during all this back and forth, I could actually hear staff members in the background laughing about my situation while I was on the phone expressing frustration and simply asking for an update. Although an apology was later offered, it was completely inappropriate and incredibly unprofessional. It made me feel disrespected as a customer and confirmed how poorly communication and professionalism are handled within their office.
It’s such a shame, because the technicians on-site were genuinely great and did their job well. Unfortunately, their efforts are completely overshadowed by the unprofessionalism and lack of accountability on the administrative side. I’ve never encountered a company that made it this difficult just to get a straight answer or a reliable appointment.
If you’re considering using this company, be prepared for constant rescheduling, unanswered calls, and zero follow-up from management. The field workers deserve praise, but the office staff and customer service system desperately need a complete overhaul.

Mark Donaghy the operative was friendly informative and was able to explain things in simple language. We had suspected birds/rats in the attic and after an inspection he was able to identify the issue. He set traps and poison together with a motion activated camera. Within the three visits and based on his actions and advice we seem to be rid of the problem. Great service and advice. I would recommend this operative for anyone with similar issues.
