I have used TORQEN multiple times for…

I have used TORQEN multiple times for the purchases on my build, they aren’t the cheapest around (or the most expensive) but the customer service is absolutely second to none. Also for the sake of a couple pound difference compared to some other sites the customer service, the quick delivery, the desire to help at any cost, and the time saved by them doing the hard work on what’s best for your car for if you reach out, means I will continue to use TORQEN regularly and HIGHLY recommend them. I needed a part this morning, reached out and within 2minutes they found me the part, and will be delivered the next day, Simple, easy, reliable!!!!!

Long waiting times

Well my order was out in 10 of November arrived end of January so not very happy, it showed as stock but it was not . It arrived so that’s that . Might was just being unlucky, I I’ll give them an other chance..

Second order placed arrived week after very good communication / check with them prior ordering the reply pretty quick.

Mixed experienced

Ordered a piece for my car on February 2024 and it arrived after almost a whole year, not only that but once it arrived the hardware and instructions were missing from the package. I can’t say I’m totally disappointed because in the end the part arrived and I managed to install it anyway, it’s just a shame what happened with the instructions. Customer service is ok, they respond but not quickly.

Very good first time experience!

Very good experience, better priced than anywhere I could find, responded to my queries via whatsapp even out of hours. Delivery was a bit slow but that was down to the supplier. No regrets especially considering the cost savings! Highly recommend using them :)

Avoid If Possible.

Charged an additional £50 after the purchase was made for delivery. This was after delivery was already paid for.

They cited it cost them more than they expected. This was for a UK delivery, not international.

This should be on the company to correctly estimated delivery. Not charge the consumer afterwards.

It also looks like this may be an illegal practise, See DeliveryLaws website for details.

We’re disappointed to see your review, especially as we were transparent about the shipping costs and only proceeded with your order after you agreed to the additional charge.

Your order included a Megan Racing exhaust, Moog banana arms, and a Nissan interior trim. Due to the size and weight of the exhaust, it could not be safely combined with the other parts, as this would have increased the risk of damage. Additionally, your delivery address in Northern Ireland (BT postcode) meant significantly higher shipping costs for a large, heavy item.

At the time of your purchase, our website estimated shipping at £33.34, but due to the required separate shipments, the actual cost was higher. Before proceeding, we clearly communicated this to you via email, and you responded:

“Hi Coz, I’m not happy with this scenario but I will pay 50 pound today. Please provide a means to do it and I will send it today. Kind Regards, Arron.”

Only after receiving your written agreement did we proceed with the shipments, using both DPD and FedEx, covering the actual carrier charges. We were fully upfront about the situation and ensured the items were sent in the safest way possible.

We always strive to offer fair and accurate shipping costs, but larger items, especially those going to Northern Ireland, sometimes incur higher fees. We’re sorry you’re unhappy with the situation, but we acted in good faith and with your full agreement.

Best parts company I’ve ever dealt with!

Honestly can’t recommend these guys enough.
Instant WhatsApp responses even up to 1800 on Christmas Eve!
You deal this make but not my brand of car can you get it in? Done!
Can you confirm fitment? Done!
Can’t you post it asap? Done!
Questions for the manufacturer? Done!
Nothing has been too big an issue, best comms I’ve ever received from a company!
Will definitely be coming back for other parts from these guys!

DON’T ORDER FROM THIS SITE

No idea about customer rights. Waited for over a year to only be told they had sent the item, but kept no records of dispatch. It’s the responsibility of any retailer to supply the order. Not fob the customer off on a lie. The sellers responsibility to follow up with the courier to investigate a missing parcel. Not say ‘well we sent it and will not refund you’. Utter awful attitude. No idea how this company exists with service like this.

Update. Everything in their reply means nothing. It is their legal responsibility to supply the goods ordered. It’s not my fault they can’t maintain an efficient order and dispatch history. Who cares about their order supply chain. My order was with Torqen. They have failed to supply ANY proof of the updates they have sent me.

Thank you for your patience while we looked into this matter. We had to access several older systems, including our previous ordering platforms, Royal Mail receipts managed by our accountants, older invoices from P2M, and DHL shipping records to ensure we provided you with an accurate response.

You placed your order with TORQEN on Thursday, 27th September 2023 at 22:28:05 for 2 x P2-AHC225BLK-KMI with a total value of £26.99 including VAT and shipping. Since the items were not in stock at the time, we included them in our pending order with P2M.

Our Customer Service team kept you updated via email as the parts became available. Once ready at P2M, the items were shipped to us from the USA, and we received them via DHL (tracking number 5511655730). They were then dispatched to you through Royal Mail on the same day. Unfortunately, it seems the tracking details weren’t added to your order at the time. The colleague responsible for shipping this no longer works with us, so we’re unable to obtain further details from them. However, our inventory records show that 2 out of 5 units of part P2-AHC225BLK-KMI were shipped, and there has been no subsequent order in our system for these items.

Since we hadn’t heard back from you for almost 10 months, we assumed the delivery was completed successfully. Given the length of time that has passed, we’re unable to obtain any further information from Royal Mail, which unfortunately means that we are unable to issue a refund at this point.

We understand this may not be the resolution you were hoping for, and we’re genuinely sorry for any inconvenience caused. However, based on our findings, this is the extent of what we can do at this time.

Efficient, friendly and accurate part supply

I have to write this review because Torqen delivered us a replacement power steering pipe that we could not find anywhere else. They were helpful and informative all the way through. The part came from Japan and they kept us informed all the way along about delivery progress. Very happy and grateful for such brilliant service.

Go somewhere else

Lied to about delivery times kept getting told next week and that came 4 weeks later. Did not receive all items which has now put me out of pocket as a customer now has to return and have the whole job redone. Customer service is good until there is an issue then it's very poor and not professional. I would recommend to go anywhere else for parts even if it does cost more so you actually receive the items in a reasonable time frame.

While there was an unexpected delay with one of the parts coming from the USA, we kept you informed throughout via WhatsApp. Once the shipment was ready, a genuine human error meant one of the gaskets, ordered in a quantity of two, was shipped as just one. We quickly acknowledged this and offered to send the second item at no additional cost. However, you declined this resolution and requested a full refund for both items, although you kept and used the one received. We refunded the missing gasket and sent you a confirmation screenshot on WhatsApp.

However, we also noted a chargeback was opened after the refund for the missing gasket had already been issued, adding unnecessary complications to the resolution process. You have therefore kept the product and also had a full refund for both gaskets, along with an additional refund for 1 gasket.

We understand the frustration delays and errors can cause, but we believe we acted transparently and fairly to resolve the issue. Mistakes are rare but can occasionally happen, and we remain committed to addressing them promptly and professionally when they do.
