Process easy kept informed of progress and delivery on time

Bought two matching rugs from this company for my conservatory. Description on their website says they were ‘anti-fade’ which is why I bought these particular ones. One of the rugs has faded badly and now looks a completely different colour to the other. Company refuses to exchange as they say it’s outside of their 30 day returns policy! Utterly disgraceful that they refuse to accept that the description on their website is not true. I am now taking legal action against this company.

This is the second Calvin Klein rug we've had from this company and have been very pleased with the service, the competitive price and the quality!

The whole experience of buying from the Rug Shop was brilliant. The rug I bought was the Celestial CE15 Multicolour Abstract Modern Rug, and it is just gorgeous. The quality is exceptional, and the colours are stunning. The delivery was super quick within 3 days from ordering and with regular updates. I can highly recommend The Rug Shop😍

Its my first time writing something here, because I’m extremely frustrated. I bought 2 rugs from this company. It was the WORST EXPERIENCE i had in ireland when shopping for something. First they cut off 20 percent because I wanted to return the item. I was also fine with that but what happened after was unacceptable. They tried really hard to not to accept the item, and unrightfully didn’t pay the money for the second rug, so I ended up losing 70 percent of value of what I bought. If you see this companies name anywhere, just run, they might scam you. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR SURE

Do Not Use – Dishonest Pricing Tactics
Edit- I have not confused you with another rug company & I have sent my order number.
Ordered a rug, only to be contacted the next day and told it was “unavailable” because the last one was supposedly damaged. I was offered a different rug with just 5% off. However, the exact same rug was still listed on their site — just with a £60 price increase!

When I questioned this, I was told it was from a “different batch.” It was clearly the same rug, and they refused to honour the original price. This feels like a bait-and-switch tactic: lure people in with a low price, claim it’s suddenly not available, and then push the same product at a higher price.

Really disappointing experience — avoid.

I ordered a rug from their website that clearly stated they had 5 in stock and received email confirmation. A day later they emailed me to advice, as I should be aware the rug is not available and they will keep me payment and ship in June. After much back and forth, whilst they still had my money. They finally agreed there was an error on their website and refunded my money. Be careful using this company as there website is not updated and they seem to think they can keep your money whilst delaying email responses.

Their response is totally incorrect. I have screenshots evidencing the website stated they had a number of these rugs in stock.

I called the Rug Shop to request a quote for cleaning which was promptly emailed to me and was told that someone would get back to me regarding collection. Noone did. I rang again a week later and, after some searching, a sales assistant found the email and said someone would get back to me. A collection date was then agreed, confirmed by email and I arranged my day to be at home for the 3 hour time slot they requested. Noone contacted me and noone turned up. They may be great sales people but their after care service is chaotic, slovenly and I would avoid them.

The Rug Shop has subsequently replied asking me for an order number. If they check their sales Inbox they will see that in two different emails sent by separate members of staff, they accepted a cleaning request and provided a quote but did not include an order number. The reply also stated that they are not a company that provides a cleaning service. In that case why did they provide a quote both on the phone and then in writing? The service they provide is of course up to them but I think you can deduce from my previous comments that I would not trust them to do what they say.

The company website states that they offer a 'comprehensive restoration and cleaning service'. That contradicts their reply to my post.

Prompt service. We knew what time the rug would be delivered. The rug looks beautiful and was much cheaper than from other suppliers.

Ordered large rug. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Rug was beautiful however sadly did not suit my decor as I expected. Company contacted and arranged return without fuss. I had to pay for courier return which I expected as my choice. Great company to deal with. I will use again and recommend them.

Still waiting for my rug!
So, my rug was attempted to be delivered without advising me, as I was not home I was advised it would be redelivered next day. This did not happen. I called customer services to be told it would be delivered the following day and someone would advise a time slot. Again no delivery and no time slot was given. I called customer services again and they told me it was out for delivery due today, this did not happen. I have had no contact from the rug shop or the delivery company. So yet again I have to make more calls but this time it will be for a refund. Would definitely not order from here

In reply to your reply this is not the case. The rug was not delivered and when contacting the delivery company they have no reference number at all. Please provide photographic evidence of this and a signature, considering I was advised that delivery will not be made without me being home. This is lies, I’ve had nothing from any delivery company by way of text, email or phone call. And that DHL number does not exist

Really impressed with the service and fast delivery.
The Rug was a lot cheaper than I had found on other websites.
I would definitely recommend this company and use again.

I recently received my order number 1000054441 which was a beautiful multi coloured rug. The whole process went very smoothly and I was kept informed of the delivery date & time.
The rug was a great price compared to other vendors and I had already seen it in a shop some months ago, so knew it was excellent quality. The RugShop is definitely good value for money and I would happily shop there again. Thank you Rug Shop.
