Satisfied 80 year old.

Very good experience, after getting initial quote online i spoke to customer services and the young man (Chris) was excellent, very patient and helpful as there were a lot of things i did not fully understand. A very satisfied 80 year old.

Response to AA Insurance comments; You are ‘sorry’ to hear about ‘my dog’ and hope ‘they’re’? safely returned. You say you offered several ‘pet friendly accommodations options. You did not. You offered 2 options. Options offered were not viewable, were not contactable or were unsafe, so yes I declined.
I asked to have my pet dog kennelled locally on several occasions but your ‘loss manager’ flatly refused. He was not interested and not going to pay for it. Only deciding at too late a stage, after he had been stolen, to offer approximately £3 per day (typical cost is around £40 per day), this on your GOLD policy with an accommodation ceiling of £75,000. Shame on the AA.
And while my 4 bedroom home has now been replaced by a single room (not the promised somewhere similar) with no internet connection, 6 and a half months after the flood and my home still not been visited once in the last 3 weeks by a contractor and only once by the loss manager (who now claims to be the project manager also!!) on the 2nd of January.
Just one important other comment. The AA loss manager sent all his emails to me via ‘Gmail confidential’ This allowed those emails where he refused kennelling consent to completely disappear after a couple of days, preventing me accessing them.

We’ve checked the claim and can see that a number of accommodation options were discussed, including pet-friendly properties, along with support towards additional pet-related costs. We understand that some of these options weren’t suitable and didn’t meet all of your needs. We’ve also checked with the team regarding your emails, and there wouldn’t be a way for us to send emails that disappear.

The repairs to your property are now in their final stages, and you should be able to return home soon. We’ve also shared your feedback with our Claims team

Terrible and completely unacceptable service from AA!
I was forced to wait 8 full hours in the street, only to be told that there were still another 3 hours left because “the car is broken down on the road.” In total, I sat outside for nearly 10 hours like I have nothing better to do with my life.
How can your service be this slow and disorganized? Extremely poor response time, terrible communication, and zero respect for the customer’s time. This is not how a roadside assistance company should operate.
Very disappointed and frustrated. I will think twice before calling AA again

I had a very positive experience with AA Insurance. The lady I spoke to on the phone was extremely helpful and made the whole process straightforward. I really appreciated being able to speak to someone directly rather than dealing only with online forms. The policy also appears to offer exactly the cover I was looking for and represents very good value.

Great Customer Service Experience

I review my different options online before choosing to speck with as representative. This process was easy, as unlike companies I didn't have to speak to a machine or AL. The person on the other side of the call was most helpful and walked me through the process and how to proceed once the call was completed
