I would give them a zero if I could
I would give them a zero if I could. I ordered shoes and they sent the wrong pair. They wouldn’t just send me the correct pair and let me send the wrong ugly shoes they sent me back. I had to do a return send them back wait for my return then could reworded the correct ones. What an inconvenience for me when it was their fault the wrong shoes were sent. The shoes were for a trip and did not get here in time. I will NEVER order from Shoe Carnival again and I’ve told everyone I know how bad their customer service is!
Mike at store # 148 has the greatest…
Mike at store # 148 has the greatest customer service! He helped me with my shoe purchase and he went above and beyond he helped my 84 year old mother out to our car! As she can't stand or walk very far by herself thank you for the great experience will diffently be back!!
I would rate the place a 0 if possible!!
I would rate the place a 0 if possible. Working at the distribution center I seen countless people make mistakes like somehow putting only one shoe in a box. Wrong stuff shipped or damaged. The company doesn't care about you or your family and if you have a medical emergency like taking your daughter to the hospital and even have hospital notes showing it was serious they still give you a point for taking off. Also if you have paid time off and use it to take a day off you better hope that a certain amount of others don't call out for that day or you will get a point as well. I've seen some of the hardest workers there get treated like dogs and the managements lazy favorites get rewarded and don't have to work by the same standards set for the rest. I've never in my life worked for a place that was as bad as they are and never will again. If you have a family then I recommend never working for them as they don't care about anyone but themselves and their sales. Horrible pay and even horrible leads. Not to mention I never received my last check after leaving smh
Once my go to place - ONCE.
This was once my go to place for men's shoes, however that has drastically changed. I will post this info in as many places as I can.
This is from my FACEBOOK post on this company:
** One year ago bought a pair of Men's Freeman Jason Oxfords (formally known as Freemen Jason Dress Shoes) Since then they marked them up FIFTEEN DOLLARS Was 29.98 Now $54.98. The original draw to Carnival was their affordable prices - not any more. They will go the way of PAYLESS and fade away. With ridiculous increases like this there is no need to shop here, just shop brand retail they have lots of sales. Sure you pay a bit more but you get what you pay for.
Show carnival is now a money grab company. And sadly from what I am now seeing from other reviews the quality is going down as well. PAYLESS SHOE SOURCE keeps ringing in my head. Go brand/retail find the sales, you will make out better. I know that I have.

These clowns keep on sending me…
These clowns keep on sending me receipts and marketing emails which don't have unsubscribe options on them. Their email verification process seems very dodgy in that someone/anyone can give them any email address (which they obviously have) and ShoeCarnival can just send their crap forever without anyone actually being able to get off their email list. Avoid. Your data may be at risk.
Never again will I use the online…
Never again will I use the online platform for shoe carnival. I placed an order totaling 253.75 on a Thursday and was charged for that amount. Come Saturday morning I was charged an ADDITIONAL 181.75. I called shoe carnival about this and was first advised the first traction failed. I told the agent it didn’t fail as it was withdrawn from my account. The agent then tells me the 181 charge is because the order was split into two shipments and is charged once shipped. Which is fine however, now I have 253 & 181 out of my account. Plus the second order has shipped and there isn’t a charge for that order …. I have never dealt with a merchant that places an pre-authorization hold and on top of the hold charges as the parcels are shipped…I called my bank for guidance and per their instructions I called back shoe carnival and asked for a supervisor. The rude lady that was so unhelpful…tried to tell me it’s like booking a hotel..which I called bullsh*t.. a hotel places a pre-authorization charge on the total amount and adjusts the cost once it post. Never have I ever been charged twice! So essentially you need to be prepared to pay double your order total when shopping at shoe carnival now. After being unhelpful for 15 minutes the supervisor advised allegedly it should be settled by the end of today. Rude Leadership customer service!!!! This was too much headache for shoes.
I called for an exchange
I called for an exchange. It was a while since the original order was shipped so I offered to send in the shoes first to confirm with them that they hadn't been worn, but in fact sitting in the, now dusty, box since my child received them. They still sell the style. The shoes aren't used at all. The first guy hung up on me. I called back. The second lady laughed. We don't have a location anywhere near us or I'd just bring it in for an exchange. Frustrated and slightly angry.
Shoe carnival you have gone down…
Shoe carnival you have gone down hill.the shoes are totally ugly .at least in women's .I went in Tonite at shoe carnival and the majority of shoes was BOOTS AND SLIDES.i understand the boots but SLIDES .it's winter time and the small selection of women's shoes are ugly.why are all the shoes mostly mesh material? Ugly colors.not a simple pair of solid white shoes except !! a pair of Fila's that came out 15 or more years ago .and oh my goodness sketchers Really !! At 85 dollars when Walmart and every other two bit store sells those cheaply made shoes.i my self will never buy any shoes from shoe carnival again.if I wanted sketchers I will buy for 20 twenty dollars at walmart.you are a joke any more.
Shoe Carnival won't price match costing them sales
Shoe Carnival price for work boot $170 and can find on line for $155. I was told they don't price match and I also had another pair of shoes $40. So no sale if you won't price match. Potential $195 sale and you won't price match $15. Good customer service - not
Angry employees
Every time I've shopped at Shoe Carnival, the employees have seemed angry and unfriendly. Never have been said hello to, or thanked at checking out.

I clicked on the text that stated "This Labor Day $10 off +25% off & kicks up to 50% off!!" It does not work...!!! They add shipping cost and they Do NOT honor $10 off when I called. False discounts advertised...!! T.L. Sacramento CA
How can you all get away with charging…
How can you all get away with charging 10.00 tax on a pair of shoes Its called price gouging I think thats BS
Don't buy from this company!!!
I tried to return a pair of shoes and was told to use the box they came in to mail them back. Problem is, this box was damaged before I received it, so I had to buy a new one (after paying their already ridiculous $6 restocking fee). They won't reimburse me for their negligence! I will never buy from this shady company again, and neither should you!!
I read all the reviews on Shoe Carnival…
I read all the reviews on Shoe Carnival before buying my shoes. I decided since they were not good at all I would look for the shoes else where but could not find the exact ones so I decided to take a chance. I received my shoes in 3-4 business days and they fit perfect. I am very happy and glad all worked out. :)
