The customer service is horrible

The customer service is horrible. I wanted to exchange a size and asked them if I can get a dsw redeemable voucher for the 10 dollars shipment they’d deduct. They refused straight up and suggested me to go to the store for a free return. If the store was an option why would I have ordered online in the first place?

The first time I ordered from DSW they…

The first time I ordered from DSW they said they were mailing it to me and then I had to go pick it up at the store. The second time I ordered from them they told me there was a problem finding me which has never been a problem I order all the time and they never contacted me. I had to look to see where my delivery was and when it said that there was a problem finding me I requested a refund. I’m not sure I trust this company anymore.

Online buyer beware- what they don’t tell you

I ordered wedding shoes for my son and myself in various sizes and styles. Most of these shoes were not available in store and had to be ordered online. We ended up keeping one pair from each group and then went back to DSW for an unrelated return on a pair of casual shoes and found out that they track your returns through a third company called Retail Equation and they denied the return. Buyer beware, now you know they use a third-party to track your information. It’s not the the employees fault, but as a company, this is DSW‘s policy and I feel it should be changed.

If I could give them zero stars I…

If I could give them zero stars I would. I will NEVER buy from DSW again. I ordered from them on April 1st. They published April 5th as the delivery date in checkout without me selecting rushed shipping. I checked the status of the order on the 3rd and 4th and it's still said April 5th was the delivery date. Then on April 5th, I noticed the date was pushed back to the 9th and didn't even get processed to be shipped until 11pm on April 3rd. So they sat on it for 2 whole business days without doing anything with the order. Rightfully, I upset about this and reached out to their customer service, that's a misnomer because they don't care about customers period. They blamed the delays on me saying I didn't select rush delivery so they have 7-10 business days to deliver the order. I asked them WHY this 7-10 business days wasn't displayed in checkout and why they published the 5th? They said the shipping dates CHANGE AS THE ORDER PROGRESSED. Complete lack of transparency and blatant lying on their checkout. I'm reporting this to the BBB and the FBI because this is fraud. Dsw is a SCAM!!!

Don't fall for the sneaky BOGO 50% off…

Don't fall for the sneaky BOGO 50% off sale. I tried to buy two pairs of shoes. Both qualified for the BOGO sale. When I tried to pay, it will not give discount. I chatted with a representative. I was told that only the more expensive Nike show qualified as the full price shoes. To get the 50% off, you can only choose from a limited list of cheaper inferior shoes that nobody wants. You cannot be an equal or similar shoe for the 50% off. They fail to expain that on the home page. Very frustrating and time consuming to get nothing. I call that fraud and deceit. Won't shop for a company like that.

NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN

Ordered 3 pairs of shoes 1 pair never arrived the second pair was the wrong shoe in the correct box and the third pair was as ordered. To me that's a 66% failure rate and I'm still waiting for my refund. I will NEVER order from this company again!!!!!!

Misleading delivery time

Did anything online ordering tell us that they dont ship on fridays.ordered thurs didnt ship till tuesday.took 11 days to get .no updates.came too late ,i returned to store in reno nv and did not get shipping refund, even tho cs said they would.nice but helpless clerks said call cust service.worst service ever

What the heck happened to them!

What the heck happened to them!? They used to be a decent spot to get shoes. Now, x2 within the past 6 months I purchased discounted tennis shoes and dress shoes from them and both times the shoes received were used returns from another shopper. The internal shipping label even noted it came from "Returns." Sorry, not sorry...end of an era for them unfortunately.

I ordered shoes with same day delivery

I ordered shoes with same day delivery. They arrived late, but that was just the beginning. Delivery came and when I opened the bag, they sent me an open box of fully laced up sneakers, not a new pair.

I called the store and the manager there was rude and arrogant and offered me no help.

I am a first time customer and wonder what the hell they are thinking.

Some experience, huh?

DSW Is Not A Good Company

I ordered 2 pair shoes, and the first pair of shoes was canceled the 2nd day. The other pair shipping schedule was changed 3 times and still haven't received them in 10 days. I called to cancel, and the representative that can't speak English well, said he couldn't canceled it. Buyer don't waste your time with this company.

Wrong shoe size sent

Wrong shoe size sent, ai customer service at first. Then difficult to understand representative who seemed to intentionally drag out and repeat themselves to annoy you. The whole thing seemed like it was to get you to give up and just keep the shoes sent .

If you’re thinking of ordering…

If you’re thinking of ordering something online from DSW; don’t! I waited over a week for the shoes I ordered and kept receiving notification that they would be delivered on two different dates. I finally reached out to DSW via their chat, and was told sorry, the shoes aren’t in stock so we will give you a refund. Had they let me know in a timely manner that the shoes were no longer available, I could have purchased them somewhere else rather than waiting 11 days for my shoes to arrive. So save yourself time and aggravation, and don’t order online from DSW!

DO NOT TRY TO ORDER ONLINE. Find a store. I went through 2 online orders for an item to never receive it, after months. The first one was lost in the mail so they issued a reorder. I got an emailing that the item had "shipped" with a tracking number and everything. Then when i still never received that item after a long time, I contacted customer service, again, only to find out that after they put in for the replacement the item went out of stock.... This I don't understand as i already got shipping with tracking?? And how do you not tell your customers that an item they're waiting for is out of stock and will never arrive? Im so confused and will never order from here again. Not worth the hassle. I'm sure the item is fine but if you cant receive it then what good is it?

I called to place an order online and…

I called to place an order online and got routed somewhere overseas. The person spoke little English. Had to repeat my credit card number several times and she still could not get it right. I asked for a supervisor and he could not get right either. If I could leave a "0" I would have. It's best not dealing with DSW anymore.

Shoddy and dishonest customer service…

I ordered a pair of Saucony Cohesion shoes. Within 15 minutes of wearing them, I had a sharp pain in my foot. There was a 2 inch hard piece of plastic which had sliced into my foot. When I wrote to the Shoe Company, aka Designer Brands, aka, The Shoe Warehouse, I received no response, my second email threatening action got a form response advising me of all the hoops I had to jump through just to get my money back, no mention of my injury. When I asked for escalation, I was advised I would be contacted from 24 to 48 hours. Almost 10 days later and I have yet to hear back. Once they have your money, this company doesn’t care, even if a product they sold you is defective enough to cause inquiry. Use my experience and avoid them. The price you pay for that $2 or $3 off they offer you will cost you infinitely more. Shoddy and dishonest practices!

Fake free no rush shipping, zero support

The shoe I tried to order said free no rush shipping. Yet at checkout, the store added $9.95 for the same no rush shipping with no option anymore for free shipping. I tried it over again with the same results. Therefore I cancelled the order. The chat option never loaded, and the form for help submit button never worked. So I actually accomplished nothing on their website. Their stores are nice, the website is a dysfunctional mess.
