No Ethics, Integrity or Values with This Horrible Company
This place is horrible. I ordered a pair of shoes that arrived quickly. However, the shoes were not new and they were not even in the original packaging. They were obviously worn by someone else and did not fit properly because of a manufacturing defect where there was a lump in the shoe by the toes. I find out now that I need to pay them a return fee even though the shoes were both worn and defective. I have no patience for companies that try to pass off defective, worn products as new and then charge you to return them. Shoe Station is obviously run by people with no ethics, integrity or values
Purchased a $70 pair of kids Jordans…
Purchased a $70 pair of kids Jordans shoes. Daughter wore them one time and the Velcro loops that hold Velcro together all came undone, within three days of purchase brought them back to exchange out for another pair of shoes and staff refused to exchange them said that they have been worn. I said yes they have been worn, however there’s clearly a defect of the Velcro. She wore them one time I bought them three days ago. Staff then said that, that is just the way Velcro is, I said after a few hours of indoor wear? I asked for the manager two of the women working Caitlin and Krystal then proceeded to give me a number that did not work It was disconnected. when I told them the number didn’t work they Said, too bad that’s the number that we have. I then asked them again to speak with a manager. They said we are the managers. I said you must have somebody above you. They said yes his name is Paul. I asked for his number they said they couldn’t give out his number, i said does he have an extension I can call and leave a message they said no. I said OK, When does he work next they refused, and told me we can’t give out his schedule. I said OK well is he going to be there tomorrow? They said We can’t tell you that. They then proceeded to mock me when I thought that Jordan‘s were a separate brand from Nike and they said no Jordans are Nike. I said OK and then before I left the store they said go ahead call Jordans. I said I thought you said it was Nike and they mocked me. I feel like when you pay $70 for a pair of kids shoes the Velcro should not come undone in one day when the shoes look brand new still and you couldn’t even really tell they were worn at all. I went online and found a phone number for customer service and talked to somebody from corporate and am trying to work it out now. if this is acceptable treatment of customers and quality of product I will never purchase another pair of shoes again from shoe station at Rohan’s in Wausau again. I was extremely dissatisfied actually even sickened by the way, the staff handled it and then trying to tell me that Velcro is supposed to come apart within a day. I would also like to note that I just wanted to return the defective shoes and exchange for a different pair not even cash back.

They "escalated" my complaint to someone who never called back. They are very good at sales. Very, very poor on the make it right for the customer

Ordered a pair of hey dudes and I signed up for free shipping by logging in. During check out it gave us the option for expedited shipping by Dec25th if ordered by 11 cst. We paid the $15.95 extra and today get tracking info wih Dec 26th delivery. I called customer service and was told it was within the 2-3days. I explained I pulled up the same pair to reorder now and it says free shipping with Friday delivery or expedited as soon as Dec25th for the extra fee. Customer service said her manager will not refund my shipping unless it doesn’t arrive on the 26th. The website is misleading and charging extra to get product sooner, but the free shipping gets it one the same day as expedited. First time using Shoe Station and will be my last.
I like the selections
I like the selections, however the prices are higher, you used to be able to use coupons on the weekend and get great deals, but since the store sold to another company the prices are not the way they were.

I keep getting the run a round informing me that my email is incorrect so the return label can’t be sent! I am SO disappointed now, knowing, I’ve been scammed out of $124.00.

Rude inconsistent behavior
My wife purchased shoes before Christmas and determined they would not fit like she expected and did not wear them again. We put them back in the box, intent on returning them. With all the Christmas wrapping and such, the receipt was misplaced. The next day, I called and was confirmed they would accept the return for exchange (which was the plan anyhow). Because of a hectic holiday work schedule it took about a week for my wife to have time to go do the exchange and now they are refusing the exchange, being rather rude and questioning her honesty on the exchange. I or my family will never shop here again and pass on this abuse.
This store is the best
This store is the best! They have my size always. When I need shoes, they are close to my home. The entire staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about shoes! There is one employee,her name is KATHY! She is the best!! Very helpful and versatile. She Rocks!. I will be back.

I ordered a pair of shoes in medium width but received a narrow width. The exchange was painless. I reordered them and received a narrow again! The customer service department was again very helpful, but apparently you cannot get what you order! Not trying again… sorry!

Myrtle Beach store would not honor $10 off coupon saying it was a misprint. I purchased two pairs of Skechers. Looking at receipts realized I was overcharged. The young lady called over the manager and told her that I wanted the discount that ended yesterday. I pointed to the sign clearly showing they were on sale. Not customer friendly at all.

I ordered a new balance men's tennis shoe size 4E. They sent me a "W" width. That's not the shoe I ordered. I had to go to FedEx to return the package which cost me $8.59, plus an hour and a half of my time in this crazy heat and gas which is money. I completely and totally dissatisfying experience. Called and complained. Eventually I'll get my money back and my shipping charge back, but I will not get my $8.59 for a new return package. I will never order from Shoe Station again. I received a very nice pair of boots that were exactly what I was looking for but they were too big. First of all, archaically, you have to call in to start a return and get a label sent to you. I never received the email even after verifying email address with them and checking spam. The next day I had to call in again to report that and still no label. The service representatives are kind but like robots. They directed me to the site to place a return and I reiterated to them that it directs the customer to call in!!! I will never purchase another pair of shoes from here again because of the difficulty to return. I gave them another email address and still doesn't work. PLEASE update your system for your poor representatives working with the customers.

Purchased while on vaca 600 miles away. Shoe completely broke apart after 4 hours. Will not refund. No offer to return via mail. I’m simply out of the money. This is robbery. No respect for customers.
