Ryobi Customer Service Absolute Rubbish

I would give a ZERO STAR rating if possible in fact I wonder if they actually exist having spent more than a couple of hours on the phone this week trying to contact them without any success. Emails also are ignored. Payment for item taken immediately cannot find a way to cancel and get a refund will be contacting my credit card company. AVOID

Horrible Customer Service, bad product

I purchased a Ryobi pressure washer, used it 3 times only and it broke. OK, it happens. It's still under warranty, so I called Ryobi. It takes hours to reach Ryobi Customer Service. They gave me a number for repair service provider. Nobody picked up, nobody called me back. I called Ryobi again (another hour waiting), they gave me another provider which is 30 miles away!
Very irresponsible manufacturer that doesn't stand behind their product and doesn't care about the customers. I'll never buy anything from Ryobi again.

Customer service AWOL.

Customer service. By phone, text, chat or whatever. Unable to contact about simple issue not covered in manual. 40V blower. Home Depot no better.

Sorry to say but utter rubbish

Sorry to say but utter rubbish
Bought over £1000 worth as I got told of a member of staff,he used these load never had any problems, guest what with in 1 month my circle saw smoked, another new 1, within the 6 month I’ve been back to b and q to change newly all of the set
Must say I’ve waste all mymoney, ever bought bigger batters and stuff
Don’t waste your money
And to top this off I can’t find my receipt now so I’ve started to save up again for a better stuff

Trimmer doesn't work

Very poor product as well after sell customer service horrible. Try to contact twice to return the product but no reply from customer service regarding the request.

Terrible battery run time

So, charger arrived! Was do excited to use new weed remover. Well, it did get rid of the weeds, however battery run time is absolutely rubbish!!! Just to do my drive it needed to be charged twice after original first charge. Not something I would recommend well, only it you have a tiny area! COME ON RYOBI. IF YOU ARE GOING TO ADVERTISE ONE BATTERY FITS ALL OF YOUR PRIDUCTS, MAKE SURE THEY HAVE A REASONABLE RUN TIME...

Terrible service.......but quick to take your money

Terrible service. Ordered a product on the 1st June 2022, they took the money on the 1st June and here I am on the 14th June and still no product.
Trying to contact anyone iat Ryobi is difficult, it's almost as if they've purposely made it difficult.
Think I'll be contacting Visa to get a refund and will purchase an alternative brand.

Issue resolved

Had an issue with a battery failing.

Getting a response from customer service wasn't 100% straightforward, but once I did the matter was dealt with swiftly.

I'd rather deal with the DMV over dealing with Ryobi's customer service. I have been trying to get a hold of someone at Ryobi the past week. NOTHING.

Extremely bad customer service

Extremely bad customer service. I purchased the new 36v battery powered self-propelled mover in Dec 2021. I created two support requests (/support/contact-us) one in Feb, and again in May, neither of them received any response. The product I purchased in Dec 2021 is broken, and there is absolutely no way to get their help. Now have to take it to Bunnings and see if they can help.

cost : benefit ?

I've had a number of Ryobi petrol powered garden tools. They are what you should expect of cheap equipment. They don't last unless you are expert in taking them apart and rebuilding every now and then.
No garden tool repair shop wants to know. They'll say they can't get parts but I reckon they just could not charge enough to make it worth doing.

Bad costumer service

I was ordered garden tools 9 April and 30 April not arrived. Give me wrong tracking number and wrong delivery company. Many times I try contact with costumer service to resolved my problem and nothing. Only let me know my parcel lost and stop respond for my emails.
07.05.22 promised parcel will be dispatched 14.05.22 nothing yet.

Rubbish product!

Rubbish product!! Should not be advertising on ITV!! Strimmer doesn't work and lawnmower does not cut grass. Tried to get hold of them. Nothing!!

Disappointing so far

Unfortunately after purchasing my Ryobi mower (with strimmer) as advertised on the TV, i found that it was not as good as I hoped. After charging the battery full, it died after 20 min of mower use only. Then having to charge for almost 2 hr again to finish the garden, which took 15 mins, it was already half way down the charge.
The mower worked ok on flat grass but any bumps or dips and it struggled and slightly longer grass (not long) it struggled as if it was going to stop. I will try once more in a weeks time but if the battery fails again i will be in touch with Customer Services to arrange collection and refund. I havent used the strimmer yet until i am satisfied with the mower 2nd used. Very disappointing after purchase so far, if i had bought from a shop i probably wouldve returned by now but as delivered by courier i will try once more before i decide to return.

Awful customer service

I have twelve different Ryobi tools and was given a Ryobi jigsaw as a birthday present. I used it five times and it was OK, though it vibrated more than would be ideal. After just over two years it stopped working. Ryobi claimed that as the product had not had the extended three year guarantee registered it was out of warranty. Garbage product from a garbage company. As my other Ryobi products break I will be replacing them with products from a decent manufacturer.

Just terrible

Bought a Ryobi strimmer in Brico Bellac 87 in August 2021. Had to take it back as the carburetor was not working properly. Fobbed off with a dodgy repair by adjusting the carb. Still not working after I got home and have just taken it back again within a year of it’s guarantee. He said there was a string of Ryobi products with similar problems in their workshop. Fobbed off by Brico Bellac with a dodgy repair and Ryobi seem to produce dodgy products. 90 mins round trip each time I need to return it to the store. What trash I have bought! I have now left the product at the store, yet another 90 mins return trip to pick up another dodgy repair as they will not give me a refund!

RYOBI RSH3045U Garden shredder Biotrituratore pessimo!

Purtroppo il biotrituratrore RYOBI RSH3045U dopo 30 minuti di utilizzo ha fatto odore di bruciato e ha iniziato a faticare il motore per subito dopo fermarsi. Stavo triturando dei rami piccoli con massimo un diametro di 2,5cm. Inizialmente pensavo che si fosse intasato però dopo verifica ho costatato che il vano del trituratore era libero. Il problema è dovuto ad un fallimento del motore! Dopo solo 30 minuti di funzionamento... E' stato un pessimo acquisto soldi buttati. Non acquisterò mai più prodotti di questa marca. - Unfortunately, the RYOBI RSH3045U garden shredder after 30 minutes of use had a burning smell and started to struggle the engine to stop immediately afterwards. I was shredding small branches with a maximum diameter of 2.5cm. Initially I thought it was clogged but after checking I found that the shredder compartment was free. The problem is due to an engine failure! after only 30 minutes of operation ... It was a bad buy, money down the drain. I will never buy products of this brand again.

Ryobi Batteries

The battery problems with Ryobi are everywhere where to see, left for any length of time and the won’t charge that go into “Safety mode” accessories are decent and plentiful for every task but steer clear it’s not worth the hassle with the batteries, Ryobi don’t even bother to respond to emails any more and the live chat puts you onto a pay site.
