DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! We waited 3 hours at the airport to be picked up, the staff were extremely unhelpful absolutely no communication at all. They send you from terminal 1 to terminal 2, every time you call up you get a different unhelpful person on the phone

Before my recent trip to the UK, I bought rental car insurance through RentalCover. Unfortunately I had an accident that caused significant damage to the rental vehicle. Once I received the bill from the car rental cover, submitting the claim to RentalCover and getting reimbursed was very easy. The team at RentalCover was responsive and fair. I would recommend them to anyone renting a car in the UK. Finally, ignore your satnav when it says to do down a very narrow country lane...

Process was simple though lengthy coz you will need every document ready to upload for claims docs support. Otherwise, happy and satisfied with the prompt response!

My rental car was stolen during a trip to Sicily. Consequently, the rental agency charged my card for the theft deductible and administrative fees, totaling nearly €1,800. I submitted my claim online with the required documentation (police report, final invoices, rental agreement, and proof of payment). The claim was reviewed and approved within a single day. RentalCover refunded €1,680, which accurately covered the €1,600 theft excess and the €80 admin fee (excluding the missing fuel, as expected). The overall process was efficient and without unnecessary bureaucracy. A reliable service that did exactly what it was supposed to do. I can definitely recommend them."

I've Insured through Rental cover 3 times, appreciate the uncomplicated process.. it was very quick straightforward covered for 3 days. There is daylight between the cost of rental cover and the exorbitant rate charged at the front desk. Hopefully I will not have to ever reach out to Rental cover for a claim but from what i have read so far they seem to be worth their Trust Pilot Stars... and I will be using Rental cover again!

I had a very disappointing experience with RentalCover.

I purchased car rental insurance through them, and their policy clearly states that you can cancel your insurance at any time before picking up the rental car, with the refund processed within 3–10 days.

I cancelled well before collecting the car, but after more than three weeks I still haven't received my refund. Even worse, they have completely ignored my emails and provided no update whatsoever.

Poor customer service, poor communication, and failure to process refunds within the timeframe they advertise. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend RentalCover and will never use them again.

Buying an insurance policy, one is never sure what will happen when one has a claim. Returning home, gathering asked-for info, submitting claim - all online - was relatively smooth. At first the amount of asked for info looked daunting, but I worked through it. And then my claim was fully paid! I was so surprised and relieved. There was about a 4% charge for currency conversion which was a little disappointing, but hey - everything else I got back, so I am pleased! An aside: I did contact the rental car agency and asked for as much paperwork I could, and thankfully, they were quick and thorough with their forms which I attached to the claim. And, do your best to take your own pictures of damage done to vehicle to corroborate what rental agency claims.
