The auto renew was no problem at all but they also provided me with an excellent price for the next 12 months.
First time in ages that my renewal hasn't increased dramatically and then having to spend time finding a cheaper alternative with a reputable insurance provider.

Incredibly expensive to leave early. Also way overpriced.
Had insurance for an old Hyundia I30 with the RAC. a reasonably cheap price £270 plus breakdown price. (full no claims)
Only 2 months later had to change the old veh. Bought a 2 year old Toyota Yaris cross. Average price from nearly every other insurer for the Toyota around £320. Price from RAC over £800!
Cancelled policy with RAC.....They returned to me £80. So they charged me roughly £190 for 2 months insurance.

Dreadful admin and customer service
Dreadful admin and customer service. I was with them for 2 years. I had a number of queries and problems when I started with them and it was even worse when I left. This is because their system only accepts 9 years No Claims Discount. I had 11 years NCD when I transferred but despite this, they only gave me 11 years NCD when I left. It has taken about 10 emails and a lot of stress for them to accept I was due 13 years and I still don't have the NCD certificate. Be very careful with the detail as you will be drowning in emails and a customer service that is appalling.

Cant download the policy details in the APP
After completing the car insurance forms online and paid my premium, I am unable to locate my car insurance details in My RAC app which I have already got as I am an existing customer with breakdown cover !!! Very frustrating
