Private Label Mastery - Misleading and Dishonest Experience

I want to share my misleading and dishonest experience with the Private Label Mastery (PLM) program. PLM portrayed itself as an avenue to achieve success on the Amazon platform. The initial call with the PLM sales associate included two pricing options: the decisive and indecisive price, with the deceive price marked as a limited- time offer, putting pressure on individuals to make a rushed decision without a clear understanding of the ramifications. PLM made deceptive assurances.

Another issue was the discrepancy between the promised time commitment and the demanding reality of the program’s demands. 10-12 hrs. Per week, PLM was not aligned with the demanding reality of the program. The dedication required far exceeded the initial estimations, resulting in disruptions to both personal and professional aspects of my life. PLM claims that the net earnings in 4 months would be $10,000 monthly. They give you 6 months to complete the course, test and launch the product. There is no way you can complete the course in 6 months, including the sourcing of product, testing, and launching working 10-12 hrs. a week.
They boost success stories and testimonials, which appear promising at first glance. However, it has become evident that negative reviews were manipulated or suppressed on the platforms like Trustpilot, Google, and the Better Business Bureau hiding the truth about their shady practices.

Additionally, PLM’s small Boardroom setting, didn’t provide the personalized attention as promised, the Boardroom was to only have 10 students and three coaches. Emails were sent stating the size of the group and that the individual would make 5 to 10x’s their initial investment. I committed to BR based on what I was sold, signed up 11/23 and by 12/21/23 an announcement was made that BR would be open to additional students. At that moment, it became clear that PLM emphasized on quantity over quality.

The contract terms and conditions were another area of concern, as they seemed to favor the company more than the individuals, making it hard to hold them accountable for any misleading claims or lack of results. I STRONGLY ADVISE anyone considering PLM to be cautious, get everything in writing, and thoroughly read the contract a hundred times before committing and giving this company a single cent. PLM has taken advantage of people’s dreams and aspirations. People that are thinking of joining need to know the truth about this deceitful program!

I appreciate your response to my concerns and my experience with Private Label Mastery (PLM). However, I must emphasize my disappointment with the program and the issues I encountered.
The core problem lies in the misleading enrollment process, creating false expectations. Despite receiving an award for participation, my concerns about transparency, misleading claims, and integrity remain valid.
Specifically, promises of potential earnings and limited class sizes for the "Boardroom" were not fulfilled, as documented in emails from 11-12-33 & 11-13-22. This contradicted what was assured in our in-person meeting on 11-12-22, where you reiterated a smaller, focused group. The subsequent announcement on 12/21, opening up the Boardroom to more students, further undermined the initial promise of a personalized experience.
While I acknowledge the importance of individual effort, my primary complaint is about the lack of transparency and misleading practices during enrollment.
I seek accountability and transparency in PLM's presentation and execution of programs, with a request for a thorough review of communication and practices to align with ethical standards. The request emailed on 7-9-23 remains.

I believe the program does work. I have been with the group since October not through to the end yet but getting there. I am having difficulty with the caimpaigns and optimization but hopefully with help from the great coaches and PLM community I will get through this part too. I would never known about all the education you really need to set up this business. I still get frustrated sometimes but I couldn’t have done this without PLM’s help. We will see what I accomplish on my journey.

PLM has a fleet of amazing mentor. It is one of the best programs I have invested in. They will work with you.

A good mentor program is inspiring, yet accessible. They have the time to listen and also have their own successful career. They're empathetic and give honest feedback. With so many qualities to consider, it's no wonder people feel overwhelmed when looking for a mentor. If you want a success e-commerce business. I suggest working with PLM team. All there coaches are successful and very knowledgeable in the field.

The PLM team uses a hands-on, attentive approach to teach their methods. Complete with step by step tutorials, one on one coaching & a knowledgeable community. I am grateful for the hand holding experience, as I am a newbie to this process!

TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE- goes an old adage. PLM claims are too good to be true! PLM makes false claims and are not transparent about the out of pocket expense it will take to launch one product, though 3 is recommended. This one product is likely not to be successful because by the time you reach launch phase you no longer have access to the "1 to 1" coaching they guarantee. The short version of PLM's con game is you will pay approximately $10,000 to join and about twice this amount if you finance the course.
1. They offer financing and tell you the cost of the program will be quickly earned in sales.

2. Once you have initially joined for $10,000 they attempt to lure you into the boardroom for $20,000. (Wait I haven't been profitable from the initial investment).

3. PPC- Pay per click is required to promote the product. This can easily be $2000 per 1 product.

4. No assistance with product selection as promised.

5. After 6 months you are completely on your own unless you pay $400 month for additional training.
I am posting this review as an effort someone planning on joining PLM with the limited information given upon soliciting, they will STOP and reconsider before joining PLM!
SPEND your retirement/ savings on a worthwhile endeavor!!

This program breaks it down and explains all the steps needed to become a successful seller. They have a successful strategy that all their students use that's proven to work! They have so many different ways to connect with the community of students at all levels going through the process and coaches that you never feel alone. I have actually been having issues in my life outside this program and it's been easy to navigate talking with coaches to discuss and alter my path in this program to fit my needs. I love that they have multiple weekly meetings that are recorded if I can't make the live ones. This one is the real deal. I've attended at least 6 other Amazon FBA "1st one free" seminars and this program stood out instantly and has proven to be logically laid out, easy to follow, and easy to ask questions when they pop into mind. If you are looking for a training on how to become an Amazon FBA seller, this is it!

My entire adult life I have been creating quality in my service and expectation of a return that would  bring a comfortable lifestyle.  The quality is there, the comfortable lifestyle is not.Enter PLM!!!  Instantly it appealed to me.  Creativity, independence, and a creative culture.  The Coaches and culture are supportive and inspiring. Everyone I have been involved with has been incredibly helpful. The training is easy to follow and you can go as fast or as slow as you need to/would like to. I especially appreciate my coach, Tyler. He is AMAZING and a fantastic mentor.

The content is easy to follow and they recently added more information on RA methods. The cost of the course is a huge factor at the start and may not be for everyone, but I can attest to the quality of the courses if you are serious about your Amazon business.

PLM provides great support in helping your start in e-commerce. The initial fee is a bit daunting but well worth it. The coaches are great. They are supportive, honest and willing to help make you successful. Their time is limited so take full advantage of each of your calls with them. You will learn everything by self paced online lessons. You are provided templates, clear and concise instructions for each and every step. Then the coaches have group calls in which you can get help if you are stuck. They coaches are all experienced and successful Amazon sellers so they speak from experience.

Private label mastery was worth the cost! Very knowledgeable coaches who helped you along the way and a lot of calls where you can join and ask questions. I also enjoyed the support of everybody in the class. They have a really nice community of Amazon experts. Would recommend to anyone who wants to learn private label, Amazon FBA!

PLM has truly been a great guide as I enter into starting my Amazon storefront. The coaches are super reliable and available 24/7. The PLM community is SUPER encouraging, the weekly Zoom calls and student daily testimonies inspire me to keep going! I would highly recommend PLM for anyone looking to start an Amazon store but need step-by-step instructions on the full cycle of setting up to getting your products in front of costumers. This program allows you to go at your own speed but also speeds up the process because of all of the readily available resources to get your business up and running quickly! My decision to participate in PLM was based on the information provided to me at the time of enrollment. However, I feel compelled to emphasize that the award for "participation" does not alleviate the core issues I raised regarding transparency, misleading claims, and a lack of integrity in the program.

I understand that business ventures come with inherent risks and uncertainties, and I am fully aware of the effort and dedication required for success. However, my primary concern lies in the misleading tactics employed during the enrollment process, which created false expectations.

The assertion that I accepted and award and praised the PLM on several occasions does not negate the fact that the overall experience did not align with the promises made during enrollment. Recognition for participation should not overshadow the validity of my concerns about the program's practices.

It is crucial to acknowledge that my dissatisfaction stems from the discrepancies between what was presented initially and the reality of the program. Claims of potential earnings and limited class sizes for the "Boardroom" were made, which were not reflected in the actual program implementation. These discrepancies are well-documented and should not be dismissed.

As evidence, I can provide emails that you sent on 11-12-22 & 11-13-22 outlining the following..."Anthony, Eugene, and Kyle instructed me that once we reach 10 new members at Summit - the doors are CLOSED. We are Keeping Boardroom Founders membership small, and we like it that way".

We also met with you in person on 11-12-22 where you reiterated all that you included in your emails and that the offer to join Boardroom at a Summit price of $14,000 which will never be offered again. This assurance of a smaller, more focused group setting was a significant factor in my decision to commit to the Boardroom program.

The subsequent announcement made on 12/21/22 in a Boardroom meeting stating that the Boardroom would be opened to additional students, contradicted the previous representations, and underscored the prioritization of quantity over the personalized experience initially conveyed.

The request emailed to PLM on 7-9-23 remains.

Private Label Mastery: A Deceptive Path

As an individual who has invested time and money in PLM’s program, I feel obligated to share my disappointing experience. PLM presented itself as a gateway to success, but, it is a façade of empty promises and deceitful practices.
PLM’s lack of transparency with the initial investment is alarming. They offered two pricing options: the decisive and indecisive price. The decisive price is marked as a limited-time offer, pressuring individuals into making a hasty decision without fully understanding the implications.
PLM grossly exaggerated time commitment claims. They assured us that it would take no more than 10-12 hrs. per week to achieve success. The program is demanding, time-consuming, and required far more effort than initially suggested. This dishonesty led to significant disruptions in personal and professional life for many participants.
The company also claimed that the net earnings in 4 months would be $10,000 monthly. They boast success stories and testimonials. Their negative reviews are manipulated on Trustpilot, Google, and BBB (Beter Business Bureau).
The small Boardroom setting was supposed to promote personalized attention and success with only 10 students and three coaches. Emails were sent stating that the individual would make 5 to 10 x’s their initial investment. I committed to BR based on what I was sold, signed up 11/23 and by 12/21/23 and announcement was made that BR would be opened to additional students. It was very evident at this time that PLM prioritized quantity over quality.
PLM’s contracts were clearly designed to benefit the company rather than the individuals investing their hard-earned money. The terms and conditions are stacked in favor of the company, allowing them to absolve themselves of any responsibility for their misleading claims or lack of results.
I strongly urge anyone considering joining PLM to proceed with extreme caution and skepticism. Make sure you get it in writing what your investment will be, along with the time commitment. READ THE CONTRACT AND MAKE SURE YOU ARE AWARE OF EVERY DETAIL BEFORE YOU COMMIT WITH A SIGNATURE AND PAYMENT.

I think it is important to share some insight if you are considering purchasing this course. If you took the masterclass and had your first call, you know that PLM has some big claims and promises that probably sound pretty good, including a Success Promise in the contract that states you have an option to get a full refund in the end if you hold up your end of the deal and they do not deliver. Unfortunately, this isnt the case. Most of what they sell you on isnt true. Know that the 10k+ that you need to purchase the course is only the tip of the iceberg and there is no way to get that back despite their promise. They will continue to over promise and under deliver throughout the program. From the first call, we were sold something that wasnt true at all. Promises of 5-10k revenue within 4-6mos, lack of disclosure and honesty about how much capital one really needs to work the program - they dont tell you all the other costs associated and those are important to know!, multiple changes to the program without notice, multiple classes where the coach didn't show up at all wasting everyone’s time, not alerting us of chinas holiday schedules that can bring the process to a grinding halt for up to a month, crucial trainings being taken down leaving us stuck in the process and no one to help, lack of real one on one coaching - you only get a 15min-30min call every few weeks, and a very serious lack of urgency to answer requests on the platform they promised to monitor for us. Most of the time you have to depend on other students in the community to help resolve things. If you have 25k to spend, 30-40 hours per week to pour into it (not 4-5 hours like they say), and are a self reliant person, maybe you will be successful. But dont buy into all that PLM promises. It just isnt true. Purchasing Helium 10 for 90/month and using their platform to learn process of each step from product research, to sourcing, to launching, scaling and PPC (basically what PLM gives you) are all well covered and all you need. Save your 10k!

UPDATE And Response to PLMs Response:
I devoted 4 full months full-time to the program, and know for a fact that I did complete the course and attend all the meetings required to fulfill the Success Promise. Your breakthrough session coaches absolutely are promising 5-10k revenue in first 4-6 months and that is proven by the multiple other low rating reviews here that state the same thing. And those coaches are NOT disclosing all the costs related as also proven in those same reviews. How are so many of us complaining of the exact same things, if they arent true? I have proof of multiple times I alerted you and the support team that the coach did not show up to a class, so again you are not being truthful. China goes on Holiday every year for up to one month in January into Feb. We didn't learn this until it was happening, but the coaches let us know it happens every year. The point of this review was to give potential students a more clear view of what this course is and bridge any gaps for them that I already learned in the process. Like I said, if you have the money, the time, and are self reliant, you'll have a better shot at being successful with Amazon. You do not need PLM.

This is a great opportunity and very caring company. I would just give it four because they could be more transparent about the financial aspect and the time it takes to recover your investment.
