I joined PLM in match 23 th/2023
At the time I joined PLM, I had just been let go from my job, so I was looking for the opportunity to start a business selling my craft/ handmade products. I saw Ashley Kinkead in a YouTube video and I filled up the form and was contacted by the
recruitment agent. He explained to us that PLM guaranteed that we would spend 15 hours a week on the course, which will be 6 months of intense training course with 8 to 10 coaching calls( via zoon), 24/7 assistance, and after-graduation life access to material, and a weekly 1-1 coach meeting. The cost of the program was $9000.00 which we explained to the recruiter we did not have, he practically forced us into a loan, and he had a lineup of leaders that regardless of our credit score would provide us. He said that PLM guaranteed that we would be earning an average of $5.000 to $10.000 in 6 months with their proven system. We had made $7000.00 per month and he graduated from the program the previous November, he assured us that we would be paying off the loan before the 6 months were over. Not only we did not make enough to pay our monthly loan payment but on September 15th, 2923, PLM CEO Ashley Kinkead announced to all the students that she was declaring bankruptcy, we did not finish the course, we were not refunded and we were scammed. It is very frustrating!

PLM has been an absolute nightmare.

PLM has been an absolute nightmare.! I was promised a successful business and coaching. My couch was absolutely horrible and didn't provide any guidance whatsoever! When I send my concerns in email, they were all ignored. I was pressured constantly by my coach to leave good reviews about PLM even when I didn't feel comfortable doing so. I am now in debt and paying a loan for $9000 plus other debt of stocking and testing products that were not disclosed. I am praying for a resolution because instead of making me better financially as they promised, this program has left my family and I in massive debt. All of the support and course materials I paid for, for life are gone...WHY SHOULD I BE LIABLE FOR THIS LOAN FOR EDUCATION I DIDNT RECEIVE OR HAVE ACCESS TO??

PLM Scam

In October of 2022, I paid into PLM $9,000 after being promised I would be earning a full-time income within six months by completing the course. They were so persistent on how they could get me a loan, and by the time the loan was done, I would have been able to re-coupe my course cost. This was misleading. When I was talking with a coach on a few products, the coach was very interested in an idea I had. Coincidentally a couple of weeks later that exact product idea was launched on Amazon? I have been lied to and misled. I want my full refund from PLM.

I joined PLM in June/22

I joined PLM in June/22. During the recruitment process, I clearly informed that I had a 9-month-old baby and was taking care of her alone (cause my husband works offshore), and the baby participated in the meeting too. They guaranteed that I would spend 15 hours a week on the course, they practically forced me to loan it, because I explained that I didn't have the $9000 and they guaranteed that I would be earning an average of $5.000 to $10.000 in 6 months with only one product. I had doubts, I asked several times and they assured me that they would explain everything in the course and that it was all true, so I trusted. Unfortunately, after 3 months, I went into an extreme stress crisis, I had to put my baby in day care because I didn't have time to study and follow the course, my marriage almost ended due to my stress and tiredness and all they said was a lie. They informed us that we would spend between $2k and $4k as extras, which is another lie. I spent around $35k in 2022 plus $9k of course and now after 1 year, I am currently in debt of $30k. It really is a scam! I really don't recommend it!

Misleading, waste of money

The information provided to us at the outset regarding Private Label Mastery was deceptive. We were informed that, within six months, we would successfully launch a product and ultimately generate a minimum monthly income of $1000, which would assist in repaying the loan we had taken out to cover the course fee of $9,000. We were also guaranteed lifelong access to the course materials. However, the company has recently declared its intention to cease its services and expressed regret for having to make this decision. Private Label Mastery has misled us and bears responsibility for the financial losses we've incurred as a result of their failure to fulfill all aspects of our initial agreement.

I signed up with PLM in June. This program was $9,900 and is supposed to be a six month program with lifetime access to materials and to the community site. It has suddenly closed its doors and I am out the money and will be paying for it for several years without receiving what I paid for. I was never made aware of any trouble with the company. I signed up after reading multiple reviews that were positive and I have been made aware of the fact that PLM was altering Google reviews and paying for positive comments. I would have never signed up if I had known there was questionable behavior and false and misleading claims being made.

PLM = Lies and Decite

I signed up with Private Label Mastery (PLM) the first week of January, 2022. The course was expensive, so it was not a decision I took lightly, but I knew one of the coaches personally and thought I could trust her. I was told repeatedly by two student coaches, Ashley Kinkead, and the enrollment coach that I would easily make back my investment, likely more, within the first 6 months. They all said that I should plan to invest an extra $3,000 -$5,000 (including many other expenses that were not disclosed) for test products and inventory to get up and running. The promises over and over again were the same. “Follow our "proven" system (putting in 10-15 hours a week), and you will more than recoup your initial investment within 6 months.” In fact, they told me I could expect to make $100,000 or more within the first year, as many of their students do. (Spoiler alert, over a year and a half in the program, and most of us are struggling and have still not recouped our initial investments.) I also saw the same claims being made in Ashley's advertisements all over social media. I also watched lots of student “success” videos, which I realized later were all from new students who had not really gotten into the reality of the business, and many were paid for giving a review.

I poured my heart and soul into this endeavor, putting in much more than 10-15 hours a week. I participated actively in every call. I was extremely active in the student group, and worked the program exactly as it was laid out. One year and 9 months later, I have not recouped my initial investment, and I have lost WAY more than that initial "$3,000-$5,000" they told me I would need to get started. I have nothing to show for my efforts and investments besides the knowledge that Ashley Kinkead is a scam artist of epic proportions, and I got scammed big time!

PLM grossly over charred, over promised, and way under delivered. It's a scam, plain and simple.

Angry, Bewildered, and in dismay!

My partner and I enrolled in PLM in April 2023. We signed on and had to go through a finance company that they provided. 10k may not be a lot for Ashley Kinkead, but to us, it was a large sum of money. We were promised that we would be extremely successful by following this program. Right out of the gate, we felt as though we were disregarded. Then when you finally did get to speak to a coach, they sped through a 15-minute virtual meeting, leaving us with even more questions than when we started. Ashley Kinkead promised a mountain and delivered mere dust. Now PLM has fired all of their coaches and shut down permanently leaving not only us, but many many students in the lurch with a huge debt to have to pay off. This in my opinion is the epitome of BAD business practice. I am looking for compensation that will at the very least pay off the debt that I have incurred through PLM. The entire group of students, including my partner and myself have been left in dismay and bewilderment.

NO STAR for this company PLM. Nothing but lied and thief. She took our money and ran, simple as that. A lot of us are now stuck with a debt of more or less 9000. I still owe 23 payments out of 24. I joined 8/21/23, and received 1 short less than .30 min call out of 8. No such thing as FREE TRAINING as she had in her advertisement.

Ashley is flagging reviews

Over the past few months and possibly years, Ashley Kinkead has been involved in a series of deceptive schemes that have resulted in considerable financial losses for numerous individuals, including myself. Ashley has misrepresented herself and her business ventures, convincing us to invest substantial sums of money, often amounting to $10,000 and more, with promises of high returns and lucrative opportunities. Regrettably, none of these promises have materialized, and it has become increasingly evident that her intentions were fraudulent from the beginning.

Many of us have reached out to Ashley Kinkead to seek clarification, refunds, or any form of resolution, but our attempts have been met with evasion, excuses, and a complete lack of transparency.

It is crucial that awareness is raised about Ashley Kinkead's actions to alert others who may be at risk of falling victim to her schemes.

Private label promised high returns in short periods of time using Ashley’s coaching program and content. Her business has gone bankrupt, leaving hundreds of us at a loss in our investments and loans, and without content/coaching that was originally promised through her program.

Many of us are desperately seeking a resolution, or at the very least that Ashley is stopped in further hurting, exploiting, and destroying peoples lives. She is on a mission to stop these reviews from those of us who are speaking out.
Buyer beware. This lady, and all she is associated with, is fraudulent. She is a crook.

I signed up for the PLM course as a student to receive one on one coaching and instruction for building a business which included new product development, sourcing products, and resources for selling online through Amazon. My initial cost of the program was $9,000.00 and I was given a guarantee of earning my full investment back within 6 months. I have lost my total investment plus additional funds for product testing of $1,000.00 This was an investment that I made with the understanding there was a money back guarantee and therefore there was no risk. I am not out all this money that I am not able to recuperate.

HOW DID I FALL FOR A SCAM??

I saw an ad of Instagram for a "course" teaching individuals how to sell products on Amazon. It was advertised as a 6-month program where you will eventually scale an Amazon business making $5,000-$10,000 per month. I scheduled a call with a recruiter and they went over the details. I was told there was a high success rate, and minimal costs. The person mentioned an FBA cost. There wasn't any mention of putting forth thousands of dollars buying products. I agreed to pay the $9,000 for the course because financing had 0% interest for 18 months, and the monthly payments were reasonably priced. Well, here I am, I have not finished my course, and I'm in over $11,000 in the negative. I did not receive the support I was promised - 8 coaching calls and lifetime access after I completed the 6 months. I had 4-5 coaching calls, and now the business went under. There are hundreds of other students that have had half of what I had. This is a scam.

PLM IS A SCAM

I signed on with PLM Mastery on 6/28/23. I had an intro call w/ woman who was pushy w/ the sign up pitch. I ended up signing up is because they offered a finance option for the $10k that allowed you to not put any money down & then you could make a monthly payment of the minimum amount. And then as long as you pay off the entire amount within 1 year, you would not incur any interest. If not, you would be subject to the APR 19.99% making the total $18.5k. The only reason I felt comfortable making this commitment is because i was told I would make that money ($10k+) back within the first 6 months easily, so I would just pay it off at that point. The agreement was for 6 months of live 1:1 (up to 50 sessions or 2/week) & group coaching as well as "lifetime" access to the course. I had a total of 5 coaching calls in 3 months and was handed to another coach after the first 2 sessions with no reasoning. The coaches availability was very limited and I had to contact the support email to even be able to get a link to schedule a session. The coach I did my last 3 sessions with recommended AGAINST most of the advice, partnerships, templates, steps covered within the course because he didn't agree with them or thought that Jing Sourcing (a key strategic relationship that PLM established & uses ALOT in their marketing) was WAY more expensive then other sourcers. Flash forward to 9/15, when all the PLM coaches are fired and then 9/18 when Ashley Kinkade the CEO & founder announced that PLM is closing it's doors and access to the courses that I am supposed to have "lifetime" access to will be revoked as of 10/31. So I'm not getting what I signed up for AND still have to pay off the $10k. It is then that I hear from other students that there had been an ongoing BBB & FTC investigation that started back in June that PLM was aware of and STILL was marketing to bring on more students and sign up for services they would not be able to provide.

I was told I would see a profit 6-8 weeks after joining PLM and the program was well worth the money spent and it will pay for itself. I joined the program in Feb. 2023 and it is now Sept. 2023 and I have less money and still no profits. While I was nearing the end of the course moduals, and ready to start testing products, I was cut off access to live calls for PPC along with other live calls. I was not told that they we're temporary. That means I couldn't learn how to effectively campain for the testing products.

This company did not deliver as…

This company did not deliver as promised. It was high pressure recruitment where you had to make a decision to major financial decision within 1 phone call. If you didn’t, you would not get the opportunity to work with them in the future.
The fee and the interest rate are obscene, which also wasn’t divulged until the very end.
You are also required to pay 100 dollars a month for use of software, which is not told to you upfront.
The training videos are not clear and are in an older format and doesn’t look the same as what you see when working through the process on your own.
This company has brought so much stress and has turned being a business owner into a financial nightmare.

False Advertising and Broken Promises

Title: Misleading Advertising and Unsupported Income Claims

I recently purchased Ashley Kinkead's Private Label Mastery course. My experience has been deeply disappointing.

First and foremost, the advertising for this course was misleading. It promised substantial profits and success, but the reality has been quite different. We were told that we would be making 5k per month after 6 months in the program. The Coach that we spoke to about signing up assured us time and again that PLM would not let us fail. We questioned the program extensively and there was always a promise of thousands upon thousands of dollars. In addition to the exorbitant program fee, we were also told we could get by with a start up cost of 2-3k. We have spent at minimum, triple this amount with not profit. Despite diligently following the course materials, I have not seen any significant returns on my investment.

Ashley Kinkead made bold statements about the potential earnings in private label business, but these claims seem far-fetched and unattainable based on my experience and the experiences of others I've spoken to who took the course.

As a result of this course, I've lost approximately $20,000 in debt. This loss has been a significant setback for me, and I feel misled and frustrated by the false promises and lack of tangible results provided by Ashley Kinkead's Private Label Mastery. Now she has closed PLM doors. Despite this, people were still signing up weeks prior.
PLM has been such a shock and disappointment and a violation to me.

Swindlers

On September 15, 2022, I found Private Label Mastery online and was very curious about the program. After seeing mostly 5-star reviews online, I decided to schedule what was considered a "Your Breakthrough Session with Ashley Kinkead". I received a confirmation email that the call was scheduled for Sun, Sep 18, 2022, 09:30 AM - 10:30 AM.

The call was not with Ashley but with a team member. I was expecting the call to be the full hour with information on the course and the ability to ask questions. Instead, it lasted less than 10 minutes. The person treated it as an intake appointment instead of a consultation. I had to ask very specific questions to get the information I was seeking. I was told the following:
- The course costs $6k
- I'd only need $1-2k total for 2-3 test products (up to 25 each)
- I could be making money in as little as 3 weeks from today if I signed up
- I could make up to $10k in passive income

I did not have the up to $8k needed so I told the team member I needed more time and I'd contact her. On October 7, 2022, I made contact for enrollment as I had secured the funds needed. I was shocked that the cost had skyrocketed from $6k to $9k. I made the first payment of $3k. I was told I could be making up to $10k in a matter of weeks so I figured I could use any profits to make up the difference.

As I began the program, I quickly realized test products would cost more than $1-$2k. And I would still need additional funds to advertise, set up an LLC, shipping supplies, scales, thermal printers, etc. I made a second payment in the amount of $3k and continued the program. It is now one year later and I still have not been able to afford 3 test products or the remaining $3k of the $9k the program costs. I would like a full refund in the amount of $6,000.
