Very frustrating experience
Very frustrating experience with Quadient. The equipment never worked properly for nearly a year, making it impossible to use their service. On top of that, they added a $300 charge to our account in their error and still applied a late fee.
Disappointing lack of resolution and accountability. I hope they improve both their equipment reliability and customer service.

I've had a pretty positive experience with this company, so I don't get why it's rated so low here.
Horrible experience
Horrible experience! Quadient has a customer limit for their products where you can only enter in 50 of your customers, and that is all. If you want to have more than 50 customers entered, it's an extra fee. Additionally, we have been waiting for 2 months for quadient to increase our customer limit. The rep told us the process can take months to approve, which makes no sense. We will not be renewing our contract with them and we will be switching at our first opportunity.
Appalling service
Appalling service, sloppy website, and quick to add fees. They just "revamped" their crazy website and I can't even find the bill I am looking at right now to pay it. Called customer service and the wait time is... get this... 149 minutes! Unfortunately our contract still has a couple of years left to run but I am already sending in our non-renewal. Good luck!
Thugs disguised as "Business Professionals"...
My experience with Quadient has been extremely disappointing. I was given one set of terms by their phone representatives, only to later discover that the written documents reflected different terms entirely. It appeared that sections of the agreement — including signatures — were altered or replicated without proper authorization, which raises serious ethical and legal concerns.
When I questioned the discrepancies, I was told that I would need to pursue any dispute in a foreign court under arbitration terms. This is misleading, as any agreement that involves potential fraud or misrepresentation renders arbitration provisions unenforceable under U.S. law.
In my view, Quadient’s conduct reflects modern-day deceptive business practices — telling customers one thing verbally, then changing the paperwork later. I urge anyone considering doing business with them to document every interaction carefully and read all agreements in detail.
On the phone with customer service
On the phone with customer service. Cannot work with a long time client of 8 years. They are refusing to give me an even exchange for a cartridge that was incorrectly ordered because they forced me to change the machine and I didn't realize that the new machine took a different cartridge. My mistake, however they are refusing to work with me. Now on the phone with supervisor and he is too cheap to remove the delivery charge. He's giving me the cartridge for half price. Wow!! $100 later plus delivery. NO BARGAIN.
Most dishonest company ever. Stay away.
Most dishonest company ever. They sent me a quote and a contract that clearly states my monthly fee will be $34.99 plus taxes. My invoices from them are for $43.08 plus taxes. They have added BS charge for "insurance" for their machine. This is not included in the contract or the quote. The refuse to remove it and are very thick skulled about this. They also forced me to sign a new contract with them by claiming my old machine was being decommissioned by USPS. Please, for the love of God do NOT do business with them. Someone needs to file a class action suit against these jerks. Complete and total liars and dishonest business. Worst business on the planet. They do not respond to numerous emails. They make promises they will fix things and then don't do it. Worst company on the planet. Stay far, far away from these thieves. Also, they told me it was a rental agreement and it wasn't. It was a lease. They are blatant liars.
Quadient (Parcel Pending) is quite shady
Quadient owns Parcel Pending, a shady parcel receiver that monopolizes the receipt of packages in many properties in the US. In many properties that utilize their service, its the only offered alternative to having one's package left unsecured on a floor of a mail room or otherwise.
I wouldnt have an issue using a service like Parcel Pending if they had transparent policies, an obvious method shown on their website to reach their customer support for issues and also, didnt charge exorbitant daily late fees even when their own system goes down and thats the reason you can't retrieve your package.
In fact, the last time that happened in our building I called the number displayed on the screen simply to let them know their system was malfunctioning and showed an error code along with the message, "call this number for support". The phone call was routed to no end through an endless loop of automated responses and then just hung up on me. I tried several times and could not get through to anyone nor did their automated system offer any method of reporting the system outage. I find this is typical of most shady companies.
Lastly and after getting fed up, I noted they do not offer a transparent method to cancel one's "membership" anywhere on the member portal of their website. This is quite unique to dishonest businesses and aa huge red flag for me. Additionally, they do not even list a customer support phone number or email anywhere I could find within the member portal and so I had to fish around on google to find those.
Property Managers are doing a huge disservice to their tenants by contracting with Quadient and their Parcel Pending program. I thought I should leave a review to let unsuspecting consumers and property managers be made aware and hopefully go with a different and better company/service.

QUADIENT A RIPOFF EXPERIENCE
I would give less than a 1 probably less than infinity because everystep of the way this company lied, mesrepresented and stole. Do NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT HONOR THE TERMS AND WILL USE WHATEVER MEANS THEY CAN TO EXPLOIT YOUR BUSINESS.
Postage meters are a necessary racket…
Postage meters are a necessary racket for many small businesses. After ten years with Pitney Bowes we decided to try and save a $$$ and went with Quadient for our mid-size medical practice. In terms of machine, postage and costs, its about 25% cheaper than Pitney Bowes. However like almost all giant monopolies, the customer service is atrocious. Had the machine malfunction recently when trying to create a priority mail postage of $9.30 for a flat rate box and it printed gobblty gook but took the funds out of our account. Spent a half hour on phone with Quadient who insisted we needed to get refunded by USPS, waited another hour at the post office trying to explain what happened only for them to say go back to Quadient as they know how many items are mailed on a day and can restore the funds to your account. It went like this, back and forth with each giant conglomerate pointing to the other over $10. They are awful and if all is working you're fine, but if anything gets screwed up, they basically give you the finger and tell you to pound sand. So, not a great company.
Avoid Quadient
They don't offer a trial period it is just so many months free. You are locked in a contract right away. Everything about the machine (which is SO outdated) and their website is confusing and frustrating. Will be switching as soon as the contract ends.
Don't rent a meter from anyone
I have had a meter with this company for about a decade after they acquired Neopost (or just renamed the company?). Old machine, not real easy to use. Ink cartridges are very expensive and they tend to dry out fairly quickly and need to be repurchased. When the Postal Service decertified my postage meter and I had another year left on my contract, Quadient tried repeatedly to push me into another four year contract for a new machine. I declined and told them that they needed to send me another "certified" meter or just go ahead and cancel the contract. Well they never followed through and I had to contact them about the now decertified machine. Getting them on the phone is a time consuming process and the person always had to send my request to another dept...that never called back. Meanwhile, Quadient continued to bill me for monthly rent for the machine that was now useless. Finally, after 3 months, I was able to arrange the return of the meter...I had to pay the postage back. Suffice it to say, I will never rent another meter from Quadient. Likely anyone else, as I assume they are all about the same.
Same issues others seem to be having
Same issues others seem to be having, sending us invoices for things we haven't had, then sending us more stuff and invoicing for more when no one has ordered it! think they are trying to get their sales figures looking good for year end!!
RUN FOR THE HILLS FROM THIS COMPANY
RUN RUN RUN and do not get locked into contracts and leases with companies like Quadient. Use stamps.com instead. No contracts, cancel anytime. Quadient does not answer your questions and gives you the complete runaround and then tries to lock you in. We are still paying on a meter that is no longer compliant with USPS. As soon as this lease ends, we are done with this company. They have the WORST customer service. Good luck getting a hold of anyone or getting responses. RUNNNNNNNNN
Quadient is a scam.
It's almost as if Quadient has become a scam. No response to leaving my callback #, I've been on hold for over 20 minutes now. That's the second time. I cancelled my contract via the instructions, but never heard back. What a joke. Everyone with the same issue should start charging Quadient storage fees for their equipment.
Go elsewhere- their customer service is shocking!
They STILL haven't called us regarding our contract after six months now! Funny how you're quick to call selling inks etc!
