Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service even when I was cancelling my subscription (nothing to do with the service or the product).
The best UK hosting company
I have been a Nativespace reseller account holder for over 10 years now and each time I need support I am reminded why I stay with them.
Their support team is fast, and accommodating and goes the extra mile to make sure your query is solved as quickly and painlessly as possible.
Many thanks to all the support team.
Email not working
Very prompt response outside of office hours, and the support team provided a quick resolution to the problem.
Quick response to my query
Quick response to my query, excellent service.
Quick easy tech support
An agent was able to quickly and clearly resolve a minor but annoying problem that had been going on for years. Thrilled!
First Rate Service
I have been a customer of Nativespace for some years now and cannot fault their support. Whether the enquiry is technical or sales / service related, they are prompt, polite and accurate in their responses and have never failed to answer my questions or fix my problems with exceptional timing.
Awful service
Awful service issues, with no capability to contact someone and speak with them on the phone. The issues have never been sorted and support tickets keep getting deleted which is both unprofessional and unreasonable.
Nativespace seems pretty unreliable for…
Nativespace seems pretty unreliable for my domain name. Locked out of email on a regular basis. Going to change provider soon as possible. Right now also no one can even see my web page.
I should have read the signs and moved…
I should have read the signs and moved away sooner. But no, I had to leave it till they finally managed to lose all my sites with no backup in existence. Luckily I had enough on my home PC to reconstruct things (on a new host). It turns out when I looked around they weren't even very competitive when it came to price. Having been with them for 12 years I hadn't realised what else was on offer and how outdated the Nativespace offering had become (maybe they just hadn't bothered updating my server).
It's a shame, for the fist 5 or so years I was with them they were great, good uptime and great support but things just went downhill after that. Still every cloud and all that as I am now with a great host with newer features, free SSL certs and more. All at a price far less than NS were charging. (I'm not daft though, I'm now doing my own offline backups every week despite the new host having offsite system in place).
The Russian Roulette of web hosts
I've been with NativeSpace for about 8 years, maybe more. They are like a cheap washing machine, they are just about ok most of the time, they go wrong frequently but sooner or later, they explode and leave you with a kitchen full of water and ten times more problems. I.e. You wish you'd bought a better one. For some, it's worth the risk.
NativeSpace seem to be a mess behind the scene in my personal experience - mainly after a server migration and buyout a few years back. They frequently block my own IP from accessing my site out of the blue (usually stating multiple failed logins, even when I'm not here), have random outages and a lack of modern, customer friendly features like LetsEncrypt SSL certificates. When outages happen, they don't alert you. It's up to you (or your clients) to alert you and then submit a ticket to find out what's going on. Probably 4-5 times a year / every few months there's a 'thing' that irritates.
A recent episode is a good example. All of my sites disappeared. Literally no server. Email down too. One vague tweet is all they posted. Turns out a server had failed and the best part, Native Space keep their backups on the live servers it seems. So ALL historic backups went too. I.e. They implied the have "copies" but don't keep actual off-site recoverable backups. After several tickets, I was told EVERYTHING had gone and it was essentially my problem now for not backing up my website locally. We all back up our blog posts each month, right? I did have a copy, saved though their CPanel backup option... on the server... which was lost too. They quoted their terms and conditions back at me and effectively said there was nothing they had to do to help. After pushing, they offered 2 months free hosting, but that's like offering 2 free Tequilas the morning after when the hangover is in full swing. Seriously, no thanks. I'm good.
Why am I still with them? I'm waiting for a free weekend so I can buy better hosting elsewhere and migrate my domains.
One star, not two? One star says "Bad – unacceptable experience, unreasonable and rude conduct." That rings true in my opinion except for the rude conduct. I'd say "cold and lacking empathy", but not rude.
In short, would I recommend them? No. Unless you like playing Russian Roulette, licking electric fences or holding tall metal things in fields during lightning storms.
Tempramental and poor
Nativespace's servers have been down for over a day now. My website is down and I can't access my emails. This is costing us business. I've sent numerous emails and made phone calls and they haven't sorted it and don't appear overly bothered by the impact this has on their customers.
Not a great service and I'd recommend looking elsewhere if you are shopping for an hosting service unreasonable.

I have been an Nativespace customer for several years. They have always done a great job with web hosting and reliable email servers. Whenever I have a question, they solve it quickly, and they teach me how to do things.
BRAVO
Best hosting company ever.
