First the good. Samsung S20 did arrive and was as described. Bad news. Zero communication. Ages for delivery. Ugly. The price suggested this wasn't just a bargain new product but this "opened box"... See more

CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) INFORMATION FOR OUR CUSTOMERS Considering the new national lockdown restrictions, we have made the difficult decision to close our operations temporarily, and we will not be taking any new orders. We pride ourselves in offering an efficient and reliable delivery service and with the current restrictions we are unable to do so with our reduced staff. If you have an order / return / refund outstanding, you should have already received an email explaining this situation. Excellent communication from them
This company was completely impossible to contact about my order via phone & I got very worried when I read all the very bad reviews.
However, their communication to me via texts & emails was extremely efficient. I was expecting delivery of my Samsung tablet within 7 days but, because of the Covid lockdown, they notified me that their warehouse was now closed & I would get a refund for my tablet order (£179.99) within 5-7 days. True to their word, I received a full refund within 5 days. Ok - so maybe they need to be more contactable but, as far as I'm concerned, my experience with them was excellent.
I bought in good faith a samsung watch…
I bought in good faith a samsung watch 3 which was stated as new( I have proof) during black Friday week. I am no longer kidding myself that I am getting any money back from this company. Once I paid, and by doing so entering a legally binding contract, I got 'access' to an online account to make it easier to purchase next time even though I didn't ask, and I had several e mails which gave me faith I had bought through a reputable company. WRONG. After a message from royal mail saying the parcel had been put out for delivery to them, not me them, the delivery day came and went and carried on way past. I politely asked if it hadn't been sent please refund. I got the first of many due to covid messages. My second rookie mistake was trying to ring them. For a company selling tech, I was amazed they hadn't mastered the skill set of how to answer a phone. I tried to log in to my account they created which surprise didn't work. The watch did turn up a week later. I opened it (recording as I did as proof) saw the large scratch on the face, resealed it and paid to return at my expense. They did send a generic e mail saying they had received it but due to Covid (again) it would be quarantine for 3 days then they would process my refund that would take no more than 14 days as stated. Wrong. A few e mails from Matt Colombo telling me it had been processed before Christmas and as electronic transfers don't work over holidays it would be 10 days after our return as that is how banks work. Anyway, after them asking me to ask my bank what's happening I have now passed this on to my bank to refund money. If I get my money back via the bank so be it, if not it will be through the small claims court. What it is is theft nothing more. They obviously have a good idea but not the honesty to deliver on it. They can't answer a phone or e mail but spend half the day dismissing negative reviews on here. Lesson learnt.

Absolute disgrace of a company
Absolute disgrace of a company! Lied about Samsung Galaxy Pad A being brand new, put away for Christmas as a gift for the wife, Boxing Day find it’s locked out by a previous owners Google account! Yep, customer return. 3 weeks on still not refund, and now temporarily closed due to COVID.
Do not buy anything from Mimotek unless you want to be ripped off!
I complained the item looked like a return, the employee pointed me to the terms & conditions, there it stated they did not sell returns or refurbished items 😂 A locked out tablet says to me they clearly do!
One unhappy bunny, you’ve been warned.
Graded is not what l was told when l asked. Is ‘locked out’ a grade??

Avoid!! Very poor service
Having taken a week to say it’s ready for collection by the Post Office, I get an email two days later to say I’m being refunded.The watch is still showing available on the website. Very poor service, not recommended and would be zero stars if that was possible. Avoid!

Very pleased but a bit concerned as seal was broken on the box
Excellent Service!
Kept me fully informed throughout the process. I recieved my phone when I was told I would and in the condition as it was advertised.
I would happily use Mimotec again.
Unsatisfactory service
The box pack was not good, the charger is burned. Also not respond to emails. Compare to price, product quality is poor.

The phone arrived, the condition of it was not as described ,the ad was saying brand new it looks being used ,it arrived in a broken seal box opened ,no plastic seal on the screen ,a small scratch on the phone screen,it is working good though.the delivery was made to my neighbour while I was at home and they did not ring my door also the phone was on not off the battery was charged about 20%.

Simple answer again , recieved no phone even after sending many emails to try and resolve the situation. Communication is nearly nil unless your a lucky one. So I would recommend that you dont waste your time with this phone company?

Wrong Colour Phone Sent
I ordered the prism blue but they sent me a black one. It took a long time from ordering to delivery due to holiday closure. Had I known that beforehand I would have ordered somewhere else. So far I am happy with my phone other than the colour.
I bought a phone on 27 November and…
I bought a phone on 27 November and received in 19 December 20 ,after long waiting. When I tried to change the phone on screen appear a orange triangle with a thermometer and the phone refused to change. Next day I sent an email with the phone of issue and to ask what do I have to do and I received an automatic mail saying they are in Holliday until 04/01/21.On 4 th they answered and help with the return. I sent the phone and couples day later I received an email saying the phone was ok ,( wasn't) and what I had to do was to update, but how can I update a phone without battery? What I guess they fixed the issue...plus they sayd the phone has been used by me :))) ,how can I used id didn't worked,plus said I sent the phone over 14 days policy, but thay didn't work like I said above for 14 days and refused a return. Very hard work ,Today I spoke with my bank to open a dispute. Basically they try do everything to don't refund me. VERY BAD for

Horrendous company to order from
Horrendous company to order from!
My story is pretty similar to everyone else’s. 8th November I ordered 2 galaxy tab A’s for my children to put away for Christmas. November 13th I receive an email to say it had been dispatched via Royal Mail and delivery should take 48 hours. No sign of the tablets by this time and then on the 16th November I get another email from mimotek to tell me the staff at the distribution centre had contracted covid and they were having to shut the distribution centre (odd how that affects my parcel which I was advised was with Royal Mail 2 days previously anyway)? Any who they advise me that I could either have a refund or wait until the 1st of December when they would reopen the distribution centre and have my parcel delivered. We have been very negatively affected financially since the pandemic so with having no money and fully believing that the parcel would be delivered within plenty of time for Christmas I agreed to wait. 3rd of December I receive confirmation that my tablets had been dispatched and then... nothing.
I sent emails to ask what was going on, ignored. (Barring one when I simply asked for a refund so i could get some from elsewhere in time for Christmas and they replied that it was out of their hands as they could not recall packages that had already left the distribution centre and all I could do was refuse delivery when they came and have them returned to sender, and once they receive them back they would process a refund)
Checked Royal Mail tracking service religiously through sheer panic everyday, no parcel was with them.
I called mimotek and no phone calls were ever answered.
Then on the 20th December, just 5 days before Christmas I get a text message to say “unfortunately we have had to refund this order please check your email for further details” no email was sent!
It is now 8th January and I have had no refund and I revived a text 2 days ago to say “we have had confirmation your refund has failed” HOW!? My details are exactly the same, how does it take 2 months to receive a package or refund it? And please don’t reply to this message with “due to the pandemic” I have had several refunds with other companies since the start of this pandemic last year and several successful deliveries within the time frame promised. How can you care so little about your customers?
Please can you arrange my refund quickly!? I am desperate now
Thank you

Wrong model, colour, and missing parts (I should have read these reviews)!
*If* this is a genuine company and not a scam, they are so incompetent that it may as well be a scam.
What I ordered;
- Note20 Ultra 5G 512GB Bronze
"Brand New UK Stock"
What I received;
- Note20 Ultra 5G 256GB BLACK (i.e. the cheaper 256gb model and the wrong colour).
Further;
- A gaping hole at the top of the phone where the SIM card tray should be (yes, that makes the phone inoperable)
- Instructions missing (i.e. quick starter guide)
- No temporary screen protector
The order page clearly notes that this is "Brand New UK Stock " (i.e. Never powered on or network provisioned. Plastic protection seals on device still attached. Sealed boxed (Opened for QC inspection and re-sealed) )
I have tried calling all day (Friday 8th Jan), but they are not answering their calls.
I will be contacting my credit card company and escalating this further with legal action if I cannot get this resolved.
If you're fortunate enough to read these reviews before deciding to make a purchase, do not take the gamble. My experience is exactly as per other reviews.
UPDATE - On a little more investigation, the directors of this company have been accused of doing exactly this for some time, previously under the company name Trade Electronics (DC Digital Entertainment Ltd). It appears consistent with the majority of reviews left here, and within this news article which leaves me very suspicious;
*Remove the spaces in the link-

And another dedicated forum, suggesting to steer clear; www . avforums . com /threads/warning-trade-electronics-and-paying-for-goods-online-by-bank-transfer.2283160/
I will be raising a chargeback, contact trading standards, raising an ActionFraud case and will be taking additional legal action.
Update2:
Mimotek - thanks for your response. Of course I will not accept a partial refund. I've paid for a brand new stock, bronze, 512GB phone, instead you send me a black, used, broken (missing parts), 256GB phone.
Given that you said you will personally oversee this, I will accept your offer to personally put this right.
I have returned the phone for an exchange of the correct product, along with the following cover letter;
--------------------------------------------------------
Order #23055: Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G - 512 GB -SM-N986BZNHEUA - Mystic Bronze “Brand New UK Stock”
Reason for Return: Wrong phone sent;
- Mystic Bronze; you sent me a black phone
- 512GB; you sent me a 256GB phone
- Brand New UK Stock; You sent me a clearly used phone that had missing parts, including the SIM/memory card tray, no temporary screen protector, no quick start manual etc. Further, the phones IMEI number did not match with the box that it came in.
Actions;
- Please exchange for the correct device (or issue a full refund if you do not have the correct device)
- Refund me for the Special Delivery (£8.95)
N.B. The incorrect phone is being returned to you by special delivery on 9th Jan (AM), and will arrive to you by 11th Jan.
Please ensure the correct phone (or full refund) is sent no later than Wednesday 13th Jan 20201.
Thanks,
Mat.

I purchased 3 phones
I purchased 3 phones. Order numbers are 22870,23082 and 22807.
They all has different colours than I ordered. 2 of them are white and black colour display, missing colour so the display is broken. And 1 of them is bad scratched with the back opened. They claimed are graded stock A but it's not. Also the chargers doesn't work. I called them 2 days for 50 times, I left voice mail and no answers. I emailed them and still no answer.
I need to return them and asked for a full refund but I can't get in touch with no1. Please avoid them! I really don't know what to do to receive my money back!
