Horrible Accountability
My PCP recently prescribed Mounjaro as a 3-month supply. Instead of verifying what was clearly an irregular prescription (written as 1 “pen” with three refills), the pharmacy chose to “interpret” it on their own. The result? They filled it as a 1-month supply, but still charged me the full 3-month copay and shipped just one box.
When I called to resolve the issue, Kristy R. (Mail Order Pharmacy Rep) flat-out told me it’s “not their responsibility” to clarify questionable prescriptions with the provider—that it’s entirely on the doctor. That’s not just poor service, it’s reckless. Pharmacies are supposed to be a safety checkpoint, not a guessing game.
It got worse. When I asked her how she’d feel if she were in my position, her response was: “It doesn’t matter how I would feel.” That level of indifference says everything about the customer experience here.
Between the lack of accountability, unwillingness to verify obvious issues, and dismissive attitude toward patients, this experience was beyond frustrating. If this is how they handle something as straightforward as a prescription, it raises serious concerns about their overall service and patient care.
