I have had a perfect purchase with Loaf. Was nervous as quite a few poor reviews, but that appeard mainly about delivery schedules. The quality of my Dawdler Sofa and foot stall in clever velvet Sopping Seagrass is gorgeous. Bought in January this year and still very happy. Like the firm yet cosy seat cushion. I bought in the new year sales and delivery was on time no issues. Delighted. Would buy from again. I went in store to check out colour on a big piece of furniture. Miki in the Wilmslow branch was extreamly helpful and not at all pushy, let me mull ask lots of questions. She knew the stock and what the comparisons in Loaf where. I went home to think on it all before ordering online.

Sofa and chair turned up water damaged and a rip in the back of the sofa. Waited for a call back, chased twice. Offered a replacement. Had to wait 12 weeks now have to wait another. Terrible service - terrible company.

ONLINE: I would strongly recommend to avoid if you actually want to receive the product you are purchasing. Items get repeatedly delayed (£95 delivery fee), then only partially shipped. The custom service phone number listed on their website and on emails doesn't work, you are forced to speak to a bot on their website that will simply update you on the status of what has happened

easy to review and customise - easy to order! have previously bought an armchair from Loaf - it is beautiful and super comfy so well worth the money

Great product, but poor customer experience.
Ordered chairs (so quite a big item) with a 2 month lead time and a 2 weeks delivery window.
Absolutely no communication from loaf whatsoever from order up to royal mail saying “hey delivering today”
At such a price point I would expect a better customer support and a discussion on delivery date. Or at least an email from Loaf. Not Royal Mail.

Went into a store to buy a lamp. They let me pay for the lamp before actually checking that it was in stock - had to wait for quite a while and then they advised us to go as they were gonna be on the phone to customer services for a while. Later got a call to say the lamp wasn’t in stock so they were refunding me. Waste of time!

Avoid at all costs. Took a £2k payment from me and confirmed a delivery date for an item they didn’t even have in stock. Received an email on Friday afternoon patronisingly telling me that their stock sells fast (yeah…I paid for one…) and wondering how disappointed I must feel. I had moved some paid work around to be available for the delivery, so that’s lost me money as well. Since asking for a full refund I haven’t heard from anyone for 4 days. Terrible customer service - please do not take payment for products you don’t have. Please give me my money back! Never again.

Very friendly staff, not over bearing and a lovely atmosphere in store overall. Sofas were noticeably comfier than competitors all within walking distance.
